You know, I've noticed that Japanese players seem to have more patience than us, and seeing Earth using the CG when the opportunity is given. I haven't see many of our Pits do that when opportunity comes. Perhaps we should learn from Japanese playstyles and find ways to improve.

Your gliding was so predictable. You did at first staying on toon link, because he can't really fight pit up close. Look how defensive he is when up close.

So you have to avoid mid , shoot more arrows, he'll approach more and close the gap between you two. Mid range vs TL is bad.

Another thing, he seemed to be playing around with his projectiles while you always approach, make him more defensive, arrows arrows arrows.

I believe that your not entirely right on that one. Koolaid plays the same style as i do and that got him to be known as the best pit.

You need a better ground game vs TL. You jump into the air too much which ends up w/ you getting wrecked because of TL's amazing zoning game. TL out-camps Pit, and when that happens, it's best to reflect/avoid as much as possible.

ya but koolaid came 33rd in Apex with that style while earth being a more punishing and defensive style came in higher than koolaid...earth came in 17th but ya thats all hes saying offense is good but its better when used from a base defensive style but hey this is a game for fun so do what u want 2 :D lol

WHAT IS fUddO DOING WRONG?

Made a video showcasing Pit's only 100:0.

/troll

In all seriousness, though, I'll have some videos of fUddO up soon so you guys can critique him, seeing as I'm the one with the card. Was using this match to test settings. Sadly, he tends to jump into the Warlock Punches. He mixed it up by standing into it instead.

the key to beating toonlink is to be patient, camp arrows long range then as he approaches toward mid range get in his face, jab ****s him up. a toonlink approaching to mid range is always going to bomb boomarang or arrow so side b is good
bombs>arrows
charged arrow<bomb
bomb>mshield
bomb<ar

the key part of the match is not to chase toon link and to punish his sub par ground game.
everything tl does beats everything pit does in the air other than our uair and his zair is godly
tl can combo the hell out of his bair so di down and away. tl's best kill option is utilt/usmash so avoid that and we can be annoying to kill. and always punish tl while he's catching his boomarang
arrow him till he cries then smoke a black after the match goes to time

most of my trainning is with a tl main this match is very winable

granted i think koolaid is the better "player" but earths pit is more fitting to pits style

Yeah, I think I might have had my eyes closed for most of that match. Either that, or I wasn't facing the tv. Thank goodness I was able to save you that time so that you could complete your 3stock.

It was much appreciated. You need to, in general, stop autopilot arrowing, especially when I'm above kill percent. Bad habit is bad.

Just that one match? I watched all 9 =]

You are a great pit. Where other pits can learn from. The only thing I didn't really agree on is a few excessive dodging but sometimes that can't be helped.
Ow thanks.

And yeah I noticed that too. I dont use to dodge that much yet..

Next time, I'll do better :)

I really like your Pit Yass. I noticed a few things;
1) you SH air dodge too much and for no reason sometimes.
2) your SH arrow game is one of the best I've seen, but you abuse it too much which got you punished quite a few times.
3) I like your usage/zoning of the platforms on BF
4) I enjoyed one mix-up in particular: fair, jab, roll.

That's pretty much it. I don't necessarily agree w/ the arrow loop usage, but @ least they hit.

Okey Gadiel. Thank for your advices' =)

I'm still in training with arrow loop. I'll abuse of it till I get it perfectly (my arrow game is not ready yet). But at least I wanted to show how it could be usefull to play with arrow loop.

Btw, it was friendlies where I could test how usefull arrow loop could be. But in tourney I dont arrow loop that much.
I hope one day I'd be able to arrow loop perfectly in tourney or serious match haha ^^

IF you can loop in friendly's vs an MK, I think you might be more ready than you think o_O...

He is to short for me, so I usually miss. He applies alot of pressure that messes with your concentration. Keep it up imo.

I just watched your matches as well, Yass and I love your playstyle. It's a lot like mine, making use of Arrow looping when the time is right. Your arrow game is way more ready than you think and in my honest opinion, the best I've seen.

I agree with the airdodging. Just work on that because you will get punished for it.

Other than that, you're solid. Keep the videos coming. The Pit boards can learn a lot from your matches. Hope to see some toruney bouts soon :)

VS snake, don't roll more then Lucarios god. =/ You should be happy you got away with it so much, anyway. When snake dthrows, the best thing to do is wait a bit then getup. Not on high % tho, if he predicts that he'll just utilt you then. xD

Work on your camping game if you try to use it.
Learn2didair. Don't get-up when a mine is at the edge, doh.
Let go of the edge and regrab with upb, it makes the mine explode.

I like your pit when it comes to prediction. You have alot of experience, I can tell. Rushing in at times I don't agree on. Its because, pit doesn't have a 2-3 frame jab. He is more likely to take more damage in a match close up if you don't make a good read.

I don't see why you are using Uair as momentum canceling. Its too long and doesn't help. Use dair or aerial dodge if you don't want to fast fall.

thanks but this was the first time i tried this new strat.. i found some interesting things the next tourney i played him at. like up bing straight out ( as soon as you get dthrown) i also stoped the rolling because now i'm more a custom to this new playstyle :)

didair? explain please haha

@Katana Koden: i tried using arrows and less spamming and it worked :) i don't force kills which is a pretty good idea IMO. but can you show me an example of when i used up air as a momentum cancel. pleassee thank you!

Oh I see, xD well hope you do better then next video's.
Most of the time I get up, turnaround, grab the snake.
Since they're always in their sheild after dthrow.

Didair, DI dair. xD You got killed because of snake's dair, DI (out of) it.

The first video vs zzs. After 30 seconds had past. You used uair alot when you was sent flying.

Don't rely too much on up b. When he lays you down, just watch what he does. If he walks forward, he can punish you with a regrab, alley usually dash attacks just in case though... not sure if its guaranteed. You can roll back if he walks forward and not get f-tilted. At high damages over 100%, he will utilt, if near ledge... I think attacking works but sometimes I failed and still was hit. Just don't roll, play with his shield.
