I'll check it out for ya Ayoub!

Ok I checked it out and I have a hunch that you felt like showing off how much you destroyed this guy :p but there is still room to critique here. ;) The main thing I noticed, being a man who loves to utilize his arrows, is that there was quite a bit of down time where you just kinda floated around till you hit the ground or, in place of approaching with an arrow to provoke a spot dodge or shield to punish or to just hit him and get him during the hitstun, you would just bull rush him :ohwell:. Whenever you have free time like that its really easy to set up a quick arrow rain or just ping him for some easy damage. Bull rushing seemed to work well against this guy but against anyone who knows basic yomi, that kind of aggressiveness might get you punished. You seem to have a great arial game that I'm actually kinda jealous of though :p. Don't forget that even if you miss an arrow you can bring it back around to try again to hit him or just to distract him as you approach and hit him while he's trying to recover and avoid the arrow. Oh yeah and an easy way to get back to the stage (and potentially get a kill) against a character/player who follows you off stage is to just mirror shield his attempt at gimping you. It would have worked well at 1:42. Besides that, you seem to have a great handle on some ATs using the wingdash, pivot grabs, and great spacing. Just work on arrow usage and watch your agressiveness because even in this fight you took some needless damage. But all in all, awesome job!

It wasn't really to show off, but yeah I would've tought that too if someone posted such a video. xD I don't have a lot of new ones, thats the most recent one, thats why.

Thank you for your critique and compliments about my spacing. xP I know I play really aggresive for a Pit, and get punished for it. Anyway, I'm working on my defensive arrow game. Since I'm spacing pretty good now, I'll only have to work on my arrow usage, thanks. I don't loop arrows, nor do arrow rain. Don't think it's usefull. Shoot arrow over arrow > missing arrow and loop it. But yeah, I have to mix it up, so I might work. I'll try. Thanks overall. =D

Not a whole lot of critiquing to do here but I do have a few things to say. You seem to like to use Pit's Angel Ring to reflect projectiles like Yoshi's eggs but the mirror shield comes out faster and ends when you want it to. Yes, the Angel Ring damages a bit and approaches but that's only when you're up close and on the stage. Unless there is some benefit from using the Angel Ring off-stage that is unknownst to me, be sure to use the mirror shield. Also, you seem to favor a very aggressive style of play which seems to work well for you but don't forget to switch it up once in a while to keep your opponent guessing so you don't get read and punished.

your air game is pretty solid. and you had some nice punishes, but i think you missed a few arrows that you couldve hit and you werent using jumping arrows much and when you did you werent using them at at the right time. (smashville match lol) what you really need to work on is your ground game. from what i saw, you would get close and do a Fsmash/Dsmash which is pretty punishable. its ot that bad though cuz you have a good handle on Utilt. but in every situation (exept for the kill moves) that you used Fsmash or Dsmash, you couldve jabbed or jab cancle>Utilt. also try to do more complicated approaches like SHAD > Utilt or Nair > Utilt.

@Nikenike

You don't know this matchup very well. It's easy to see.
But you did well. Did some recoveries mistakes on the first match and some positioning mistakes on second.
You were visually afraid of him @second match.

You can use Mirror Shield in the air, this is a pain on the *** for falco players, and there were some times that you could use AR =T
Lost TONS of times that you could gimp firebird outside. Have always in your mind that ledge drop + sweet spoted bair will almost always work against space animals o/

But you are a really good player. congratz.

Ooh, your first death is a little embarrassing, haha, with your WoI. Saw a few mistakes, which I can presume is from wi-fi. God, I hate wi-fi.
I'm hoping to get a video of me and my friends playing. It'd be cool. Would need to send it to someone and have them record, probably.

I can see that you have a pretty nice spacing with your dair.
But is extremely hard to tell you something about wi-fi matches.
Please, post some offline. x)

I'll be glad to see.

K I think your pretty good but I do have some critics. I think your a bit too agressive. You seem to always try to connect combos and get the first hit in, tone that down a bit. You should've tried to react more to what the toonlink did and punished, like bait air dodges (with empty jumps/short hops), watch what he does around your shield (vary how you react out of shield), watch rolls stuff like that.

Thats all I really have so far... That and the arrow looping didnt help you.... At all.

I agree with many things that Afro Boy says. Also, I also think you need to learn when to switch to a defensive style of play. You were always on the offensive, and that won't solve every problem. Learn when to switch between playing Offensively and playing Defensively. Also, learn when to use Arrow Looping. It works if you use it at the right time.

Here's matches of my friend Dylan playing against DAz's Marth. He doesn't have these videos so I uploaded them for him and since I'm not a Pit main I figure I'd let you guys give the constructive criticism for him, thanks for you help. Btw, if any has some Pit matches they'd like uploaded I've got a good recording system so just PM me, I can't do tons of matches since I'm about to start my next class but I'll see what I can do in free time.

@Allbrex.

Dude, it's always good to see some beginers looking for help in Pit boards, we do have a lot to offer.
Dylan, you are looking for too much grabs. The match up against marth is always space yourself and you were 100% obvious on your grabs and dash atacks. Almost any atack that math has, out priorizes and out ranges ours atacks. So you have to move around with inteligence and make your position good for what you want to do.

I mean, if you wand to rackup dmg, you should always be close to marth, but never get hit by him. If you want to spam him, play with plataforms... these are some ideas that you will gain with the time... and with the notion that you've erned by studing the matchups. (That are hell important).

Sry for my bad english... =P
Hope I can see more of you soon.

@droughboi

Man, do you play a lot againt falcos?
I mean,his side B is not reflected by our mirror shield. The only thing that stopd the **** phantom is our nair with some luck, and usmash if well positioned.
You both got CG's wrong. You could stutted step fsmashed him, and he could get you at 42% and Dair you.
You are both really good players, but you got no sense of positioning and spacing.

Pit player, your SH dair is almost always for spacing.... and you were using it as an aproaching movement! You're doing it wrooongg!! :)
Really nice videos. And skins.

Thanks for that info, it will be noted.
You've gotta understand that before those matches, it was about 2-3 months since I had last played brawl. My wii is broken beyond any kind of immediate repair. Probably gonna have to buy a new one. So yea im a bit rusty, and I think my play style has changed alot. I watched my old videos and then this one, I'm a lot more aggressive. I used to be more of a defensive and punish kind of player.

Stop arrow looping! You are a really nice player but you will never continue to get better if you don't stop arrow looping. Can you please count how many times did you got punished trying to do this stupid AT?
You could be 60 or 100% lower. C'mon you don't need it to win.
You have a really decent knoledge on the matchup and you can beat Twink without being and looking like someone who doesn't know how to play.

Stick to the basics dude!
Your positioning @Pokemon stadium 1 was awesome.
You have a really nice reading of your opponent.
But you arrow loop too much!

I'm ASKING YOU: Please, stop doing that and look foward to beat Twink without Alooping.
Waitng for more videos of you.
