My only fight online on youtube. I didn't know it would posted but I pretty much slacked cause it was a friendly. But still if you can please critique.

pretty nice pit (off topic but those haxs were awesome...lol@the song <3 brookyln rage and little kuriboh) anywayyyyys...

1) STOP SPOTDODGING SO MUCH u need to make a habit of even in friendlies stop spotdodging like that it gets u punished hard agianst the higher seeded players and against better players in general there are several options u have in those situations that are safer than spotdodging just because u think they gonna atk for ex wing lunge works pretty well depending on the spacing jab canceling is AMAZING at close quarters learn it use it abuse it
as well as learning mixups with it another thing u could use in this area is utilt it really does well when u want som1 off you and in the air

there was wayyyy too much fsmash u could of killed oni much earlier if u hadnt staled ur fsmash granted u did have good reads but its much better to save fsmash for killing if u really have to use a smash for punishing use dsmash its almost as good in dmg and has pretty good hitbox 2

3) against tink its best not to "divebomb" towards the edge like that cuz good tinks can hit u with a projectile then force in a situation u dont want to be now on the other hand if they dont expect it and u can tell they wont by all means do it i love using it myself as most chars dont have the means to react to it

4) lol @arrow rain ik its a friendly just wanted to mention it...
5) nice wing gimp
6)use grabs more they do wonders
7) nice use of wing stall+dair
8)watch those edge battles sometimes its just better to get up out of there so u dont get stage spiked

overall u did pretty good

there are right times to roll

i mentioned the fmash in second part i believe and also fsmash can be used at low % just not mid% cuz if u use in mid % it will be staled by the time they are able to be killed but if used in low % only a couple times as combo finishers its a good way to rack up dmg sometimes

and yes go watch yass' matches he does the arrow game well

Wow, very nice Pit Yass :D, great arrow game. Thank you for the critique guys, I will implement into my game play style, its just become a bad habit of not fsmashing, considering that fsmash is such a safe and powerful attack xD.

It's not that safe if your opponent knows the MU decent and know what move can punish Fsmash.

Hey yass i got a question in your matches when u would SH arrow u Slid backward while doing that thats pivot arrow right? If it is then how come i can only slide forwards when i try? help?

If you dash away, jump (wait a bit) then breversal arrow, you won't go backwards.
He dashes, jump forward and while he jumps he press B really fast then immediatly change direction.

O god I fail at explaining.

I know I did a LOT of smashs against GW, especially weird Usmashs, but i really fear him so I prefer getting one hit in then running away x)

from the second G&W match, I see you finally started to jab him first. Just rack up his damage.

Read your opponents more through jabs. He punished you on you jab cancels and seems to like to hit asap.
Jab infinate or just the 3 hit would sway their decision to keep attacking.

Just a few things I've noticed from watching second vid:

Use more rapid jab, especially at low %. The more you do that there less likely he is going to expect it later on. So when you do get to him to high% he's not going to expect the jab cancel>fsmash/grab.

A little trick against G&W's dair is to use the tips of your Uair on it. Make sure you space properly because if he attacks you through the middle of Uair then he'll hit through you.

Learn to B Reversal your arrows, they can be really unpredictable and helpful to rack up damage, especially against G&W's who can bucket your arrows if they know they're coming.

As you can see by Breversalling he moves away from the opponent and also shoots them

You used a lot of Hypen Usmash, in most situations there is usually a better option such as grab or Uair or Bair. So for example, instead of using Usmash to hit a landing G&W you could use an Uair. This means that if he does try to Dair you you'll still hit him.

I'm not sure about this one but from I saw I think you need to try and improve your S/DI a bit, there were times where you died from his Fsmash where you could have survived pretty easily.

You guys were right, I've started using basic jabs a lot more often and wow it's surprising how easier close-combat becomes once you don't screw up a jab-cancel x)
About the Uair on his Dair, I try and do it from times to times but this Dueler switches between fastfalling it or not, and often manage to hit me anyway.
About the Breversal, I know about it and try do it but I often find myself doing AR ._. I'll train on that.
And you're absolutely right about the DI; sometimes it's barely ok, and sometimes I die at 80% u_u

@rekros, I thought I critiqued your video a while ago, guess not.
You should work on your arrows and add variety. Try short hops with it making blocking it a bit harder.

lol my matches with xaltis were hilarious, he sniped me out of woi under smash vil twice in one match

ur vids were good, i think we play very similar, u seem more cautious than me but thats probly cause it was a mk match
