Luxray + Staraptor = 2x intimidate and overall ownage.

I know but I like Explosion. It is friking awesome. hmmm Screech + Charge + Spark = you dead.

Good luck with your Electrode lasting that long in doubles.

Intimidate is pretty good, but Clear Body Pokemon **** those teams pretty hard.

Looking forward to seeing your new doubles team, Reflex. I still have one more Pokemon to breed, which I may or may not get around to between now and LasT, so I'll just put in one of my level 100 competitives since we're auto-leveling.

Shaymin Sky Forme and Wynaut are also uber, and Latias is considered nonuber without Soul Dew now. Other than that, looks fine. I'm assuming we will be boosting to level 100, then?

And depending on how many entrants we get, we should either do pools first or do best-of-three each round in order to account for hax.

I'll keep Latias on the uber list just because she's annoying. And I'll also add Shaymin (All Forms) to the list.

I also forgot to put the no Hax Items to the rules list.

I think pools and 2/3 sets would take way too long if we're using 6 pokemon teams.

My friend used a good combo on me with explosion. He sent out a Metagross with his Dusknoir and used explosion. It didn't effect his Dusknoir and knocked out both my pokemon on my team. Try something like that maybe?

PS: Randall, have you thought about doing singles first? This way we can have a conclusion to it, and with Teams being second we'll have less entries for it, since people that need to leave due to time + scrubs will leave.

We should have enough setups that a few extra teams won't hurt us time-wise, and having Singles grand finals last is just more exciting. I tried singles first before, at LasT 1, but the majority of players there wanted to start with teams. Also, some people are driving to Baton Rouge day-of (Birmingham, I think?), so teams first keeps them from being late to the main event, as well. Thanks for the suggestion, though.


The rest of Alabama needs to preregister. This coming Sunday is the last day to do it.

You actually don't have to place at Regionals to go to Nationals this year. If you place in the top four at a Regional event, then you get a guaranteed invite, and PUSA covers for your travel expenses. I was hoping to go to the Dallas regional, but I really don't wanna ask my parents to drive me back to Texas after leaving Austin on the 20th. Plus LasT is on the same day, so I figured I'd just get some Doubles practice there instead.

Haha, I helped my roommate with a combo that works in PUSA's tournament but not in standard competitive play. I have a feeling we're thinking about the same thing.

As of the current. I may not be able to do teams. It's indefinite if Red is really going to team with me or not. I'm going to pressure him to give me an answer by the end of this week, more or less Thursday. So if Red finds someone to team up with I'm open. Most likely Zig, if you haven't gotten a partner yet, we can team. though things are still indefinite.

actually idk i bet it would be close though. mk + wario handle falco pretty well, but you're a known beast wario so you might just wreck both of us -_-

I can't really compete in the Pokemon tourny. But at least I can make up for it by going all out with PT in the Brawl tourny. Besides, my team is horribad in Platinum and I kinda lost interst in it. I'll play it later this summer. For now, I have fallen in love with Shoen Jump Ultimate Starts again, so that's really all I want to play on my DS.
