FFFFF- dangit. I hope you can still come. Needs more PT rep and publicity.

Just keep in mind Reflex, if you come, you, Zigsta and I are going to get on one TV and pound the crap out of each other in some matches. If you don't mind of course. :)

Just want to compare my PT skills to yours, and Zig's.

Wait... so now if I come, I have that [small] chance to win?

I have a hella good doubles team. We should make the side tourny a doubles tourny. :D
I'm cool with that. Even if the side tourney is a singles tourney, I'd still like to test out my doubles team against you in a friendly, Curlz. Gotta test out different combos. Sounds like we're gonna have a pretty decent D/P/Pt crowd at LasT.

How many people usually come to LasT?

And Bomber, you ask Redson about teaming yet?

Jiovanni, you're on. :)

60ish people, and we still need to get whoever from Texas to preregister. I'm thinking somewhere in the 70-80's for turnout?

Remember, if you don't already know where you're staying, then please go ahead and let us know that you want/need housing. I don't want people to have to pay for a hotel or something while there's no need.

Hey, wait--

That means T-Tar isn't legal!

Hell yeah; I raise my Pokemon to level 50 as a general rule anyway.

I think one reason might be to let younger kids compete in their division. I remember when I was younger I didn't wanna raise my Pokemon to level 100, haha. I went to a Gamestop tournament once and ended up losing in the finals to this 12 year-old who used a doubles team of Groudon, Kyogre, Mew, and Mewtwo. It ended up being Kyogre against my Cresselia (I was the only person to not use ubers.), and I got Sheer Colded after maxing out on Calm Minds. Before the match began, the tournament director said he was tempted to use Open Level to see my team of level 100s rip into this kid's level 60 team. :p

Yeah, Reflex, Tyranitar is banned from the PUSA VGC this year. That means less Sandstorm, which is a good thing. :p So far the winner of the first regional won with a SS team using Hippowdwon, though.

I'll do some teaaaaaaaaammmmssssss. Want to Jio? I've only played with you like once though. Kirby&Falco/GDubs.
That's only one match tho...I fail at teams much more often than I fail at singles >.>

Battle Revolution scales levels.
I EV'd all my pogeys for lvl 100 battles and have no clue about lvl 50 battles. It actually makes a minute difference and my damage estimations are all bad. can you set it to 100 on PBR cuz I usually just play on shoddy since I haven't actually had possession of my game pak in about a year.

And lame at Tar being banned for no reason. Guess that means no Mence either even though I won't even go. Hippo still rocks pretty hard and is more than enough.

Yeah, Salamence is a no-go, too. The only way you can use Dragonite is if you use the special level 50 Dragonite given away at Toys 'R Us earlier this year.

As far as Hippowdon, the guy who won the first regional used Shuckle, Bronzong, Marowak, and Hippowdon. Bronzong used Trick Room, then Power Trick (on itself and Shuckle). Bronzong was able to stay alive for a long time so that Trick Room stayed out for Hippowdon and mainly Marowak for heavy damage dealing.

And I know what you mean, the damage estimates are very different from 50s to 100s. It takes a while to get used to it, especially if you do level 100 battles primarily. Yet another reason PUSA needs to listen to the competitive crowd more.

I don't think we'll need any specific rules for LasT except for a few clauses.

Uber Clause, Sleep Clause, Half-Item Clause, OHKO Clause.

Did I leave any out?

Pokemon stuff at LasT will be pretty cool. I'll tell everyone now, though, this is a Brawl event, and time is going to be tight. That means I'm not going to be understanding if you're late for a match because you were playing Pokemon/ PPL/ whatever, even if it's a tournament or MM. My primary concern here is to get Brawl finished on time, not any side games the participants set up.

I don't mind setups for Melee/ PPL/ whatever else as long as I don't need it for Brawl. Chances are, I'll need pretty much all the space to get through pools. After the first round or two of Singles, we won't be so pressed for setups.

I hate to be mean about it, but we've got to finish on time.

That said, I'm open to doing Pokemon battles if I've got the time, haha.

Ok, so it will be Uber clause, Species Clause, Sleep Clause, Half-Item* Clause, OHKO Clause, and Evasion Clause?

Half-Item Clause is where onlt two pokemon on a team can have the same item, instead of just one.

i was a strong advocate of Item clause, because i was very competiitve in Gold/Silver, 100%ing Stadium 2 multiple times. but once i got to netbattle, everyone just spams leftovers...and eventually i just gave in. i quit NB a couple years ago (i only played unique teams, cuz OU teams got sooooooooooo boring).

That makes perfect sense. Brawl will be the priority! Worst comes to worst, I'll multitask. :p

Cyphus, I prefer the item clause as well. I say we open the floor to a vote for item clause or half-item clause.

At least you could go against the grain in Advance Mode. In D/P, it's much, much harder to use anything other than the staples.

Yes, I asked him before I went to bed last night. He will be able to do teams, so I'm going to team with him sorry D: but that doesn't mean we can't do teams together at the next Gameware, if they do do teams. Though we will still have our matches against each other :D and maybe while we are doing friendlies, we can pull a couple of people aside with us and you and me can do a friendly teams battle, that sound cool?

I don't know who I want to team with.

Batto wants to team up but I don't want to leave my friend Mychal stranded.

Sounds graveeeeee...just to warn u I only have OU on my game pak

Item clause in G/S was lame considering the lack of good items. But for some reason I wasn't competitive in that though I was in RBY. I actually skipped advance except for a few month span on netbattle.

Batto wants to team up in smash, but not team up in Smash.
U mah partner now btw.
