That's why I quoted it, right? lmao @ you getting butt hurt for being wrong. Funny that John Hollinger just wrote an article on this.

Because they're taking jump shots. To get fouls, you have to take it to the lane. Read the article yourself and stop being ignorant. The Lakers aren't getting fouls because they are shooting jumpers all day. If they get fouls in the next couple of games, it will be (gasp) because they stopped shooting jumpers all day.
i guess there's not really any point discussing this with you since it seems youre completely enthralled by the a** loving youre getting inside of the celtic bandwagon...i cant make you see the lopsided officiating (despite how ridiculously obvious it is)...you can ignore the issue having been brought up by journalists during the press conference following game 2, and phil jackson's openness to touch on the subject despite the possibility of being fined by the league for briefly questioning the intent of the officials...nothing i say, or any information i present will change your mind...because, well...youre an a**, and as we all know a**es cant think because theyre full of sh**...we'll just sit tight and wait for game 3

LA aint gonna win if it's just gonna be the kobe/sasha show for the rest of the series

Yeah lets hope Pau and Odom step it up next game. One game at a time! It'd be nice and fun to get into this bickering, but I'm not gonna take NeighborhoodP off my ignore list after all these months. Heh.

To have the Lakers only win by 6 is amazing. From what I watched, the Celtics played especially terrible in the 2nd half. The Lakers may have won, but they have to realize that they can't do that again in game 4 or else it's pretty much over. Provided the Celtics shape up of course.

What the F*CK with that flop by Pierce towards the end!??!! And why can't the Lakers ever regain their momentum once they lose it? The Celtics deserved to win, but this is some bull****. Pau Gasol needs to start defending more aggresively; the Celtics are too good for weak defending.

Nice to see the laker fans already denouncing thier team...So I guess Neighborhood P was right about Kobe all along?

While I am proud of my Celts it ain't over and no reason to celebrate just yet.

100 bucks says Kobe cussed out his team today ;)

hell yea lakers gunna take this.....all they have to do is take one of the first two in boston then they can close it out in L.A with the next 3 being there cuz boston is terrible on the road....but i would like to see a sweep instead...

this is probally the best thread on the boards.... it should be a Sticky
Cant win on the road...You Fail

This is what makes me lol about the Lakers:

Game 1: Blame Pierce for having a fake injury on loss

Game 2: Blame Ref foul calls on loss

Game 3: Boston blames only themselves for thier loss when they could've said injury or travel fatigue

Game 4: NBA is fake now...?

Honeslty Mio seems to know what he's talking about one of the only non-biased laker fans I have seen.

And I respect his main ;)

I just love watching Kobe cry when he fouls Pierce. An easy call, an obvious blocking foul, which by definition impedes the progress of the offensive player. Kobe gets those kind of calls ALL the time, so it's like... dude, wtf? Shut the **** up. You know what's up. You know what you did. Look at the man in the mirror.

...My ***.

Did you see the fouls that they called on all the Lakers? And the ones that they DIDN'T when there SHOULD be a foul?

If you're so good, why don't you be a ref.

Would you like some WHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINE with that cheese?

I didn't see you complaining when the refs handed the Lakers the series v Sacramento a couple of years back, no?

Yawn. Unless you can point out some specific plays (with youtube footage, preferably) and actually break it down for a ni99a, you just whining. Dude, this is the NBA; it's very hard to officiate, and it's never going to be perfect. But it's usually imperfect in the usual spots, the same usual hard-to-get-exact calls. There's nothing biased about it, except the general home court bias. Get over it. The better team won.

Is it really that hard to admit? No johns.

I would love to ref, actually. Just waiting for them to offer me the job.

I watched like the first five and though the quality is horrible, everything I saw was defensible in some way.

lol @ you *****ing about fouls in Game 5 yet linking to poor foul calls in Game 2. It was already established why the Lakers didn't get any luck there; they were passive.

Playing aggressively gets you the benefit of the doubt, ESPECIALLY at home. Would you like a shot chart illustrating just how many jumpers the Lakers shot that game compared to the Celtics? Any way you want it, dog.

by the way, it's super ironic for Lakers fans to complain about foul calls when Kobe Bryant is the single beneficiary of the referees' "superstar" treatment. Kobe shoots more jumpers than any other "elite" wing player, yet he gets just as many foul calls. Hmmm...

i dont get why anyone would denouce the lakers....this ****ing series isnt over i dont give a **** if its 3-1 the **** isnt over til boston gets that 4th win....this series has been to ****ing close to count anyone out no matter what the wins say....

if anyone thinks this serious is over your crazy....the lakers still have a chance at this

Boston fans should be the main people not counting out the lakers look at what the ****in redsox did a few years back.....

also people need to stop making up excuses for the lakers...theres really no point you cant change what happened so theres no point..

lol you're right but I can't be biased. The Celtics have done it on occasion...actually it is a rare sight to see a player not complain about a call no matter how blatant it is >.<

Anyone think Ray Allen is really becoming a star in these final games...KG has been a dissappointment...and to think I was worried he would steal finals MVP from Pierce.:bee: Well his rebounds have been great...and he is a big man...its just I got used to him nailing the jumpshots all the time its wierd seeing him miss. And the double teaming doesn't help.

It's over, get over it. I can see the Lakers winning game 5 but that's it. Celtics are not going to lose 2 in Boston. And LOL at comparing a baseball series to a basketball series. Coming back from 3-1 in the finals has never been done. And if the refs are as bad as you claim, then the Lakers are truly screwed.

Celtics in 6. Even though it'd be much funnier in 5.

Was a great game, I enjoyed it. The officiating was fine, if you've actually watched bball games, then you'll see tough calls all the time. It can't be perfect, because they can't challenge or review fouls like that in the nba. We get a much better look cuz the announcers go over it, slow it down, and give us several angles of it, but the refs have to see it right away and call it. The only iffy call in that video was the supposed offensive foul on kobe against ray allen, but if I were a ref and I saw Kobe's elbow go up into a player I'd do the same thing. I can make a case for nearly all of those fouls as well (even though some are harder to explain than others).

Also the Lakers had 15 FT's in the first quarter of this game if I'm not mistaken, so no one should cry about that this time at least haha.

lol at Kobe *****ing so much about obvious, intentional fouls. I saw that particular blocking foul on pierce and I thought of this thread lol

BTW this is going to the Celtics, it may not be in 5, but I'd put money on the C's. Oh and also, I am definitely not a Celtics fan, they have to be one of my least favorite teams in the league...mostly because I had no reason to like them last year, and I have too many friends on the bandwagon for this year haha
