When you've been waiting for that game since like 2005, it's hard to get excited anymore about a console Kirby game....

I feel the complete opposite, well, maybe because Water and Whip Kirby is in the game, lol. I'm glad the Star Pieces are in the game.

You already have Kirby Wii. It's called SSE.
But you can't use copy ability in SSE. )=

Hey Rapture, the Kirby Tips thread is starting to look pretty good so far. Every character has input by at least 2 different people already, and so far 5 mainers have come in and given their input in one way or another (Kewkky, JoWii, A1lion836, MikeKirby, Triple R). It's not what I would call complete yet (by a long shot), but you can definitely read a couple of helpful hints there by now for any character.

EDIT: Also, I like how the stickies are organized now. The majority of all the important/helpful threads are linked to the Kirby Q&A, so even the unstickied things are easily accessible, no need to surf past pages to look for that one thread with that one important detail.

If I could travel OoS more (i.e. have the money and time), I would get results and put them here. The most recent one is where I got 49th (SiiS3) and out placed every other Kirby there except Y.b.M. LOL.

Anyways, I really don't mind if I'm on or not on the list. I don't feel like I should be a top 5 Kirby until I cause an upset or win a local tournament, tbh, but that's just my own personal goals. LOL.

Hey! My name isn't loin, and I deserve to be called as such.

If I could travel OoS more (i.e. have the money and time)
Am I the only one who read this as "Out of Shield"?

Also, anyone else waiting for the new TFS episode?

(I admit it, I'm only posting to delay when Kewkky's post count overtakes mine)

If those snipers I sent to kill Twinkie (I think) ever stop having that Thanksgiving picnic, you're their target. Mark my words, Kewkky; if those dudes who aren't loyal to me and probably don't exist meet up with you, you'll be as dead as...NinjaKirbyNick's activity on SWF. (Namesearchsayswhaat)

I don't doubt you can do 50 more posts than me in a month. :p

The point was that Kirby + Oli makes for the campiest 2v1s EVER.
:bee:
Haha, yes it does, yes it does...

And I thought Kirby/Rob was campy XD

Meh, not to mention I fully expect it to get pushed back or canceled... again. This is Starcraft Ghost all over again.

On a side note, whatever happened to Percon?

Kirby Wii kinda looks like Kirby 64 without the cool mixing mechanic and with a lot of really slow "ultimate attacks" that seem like something that might slow down gameplay, but it's still too early to judge.

(wow, that seemed like poor grammar)

I really liked that about Kirby 64... Mixing powers was always awesome, it definitely expanded on the game more than most of today's Kirby games. If they would continue with that idea in the Wii game, instead of having a total of 10~15 powers, you'd have 10~15 basic powers and an array of combinations that go well past twice that amount.

I hope they bring that stuff back.

Hehe Kirby 64 was probably the best N64 game I played but it takes 2nd as the best Kirby with Kirby Super Star being the first. Hopefully the next Kirby you can mix the abilities but they mostly been keeping the same like in Super Star.

I hate how they teased a bit with the elemental swords/bombs in Squeak Squad, too. :<

Ideal Kirby game would allow for mixing AND helpers.
I want my Chilly Bros. Jr., dammit.

Now now, I know Nintendo is not stupid to make the same mistake. If this game surprisingly get's canceled, I will lose a lot of respect for Nintendo.

Kirby Wii mostly looks like Kirby Dreamland 3, (star pieces and some of the enemies), mixed with Kirby & The Amazing Mirror, (super inhale), Kirby Super Star, (health bar), and Kirby 64, (2.5D). I guess we will see how Kirby perform his ultimate attacks soon, I really want to see what Water Kirby can do. =D

The mixed abilities in Kirby 64 was the least I liked since they could had added more abilities, but I loved the soundtracks and stages. I guess I am alone when it come's to disliking Kirby 64 abilities, lol.

I think Kirby Adventure might take the spot for best Kirby game. I really can't think what Kirby game tops it, only game come's close is Kirby Super Star. 3rd best is, (holds flame shield), Kirby's Epic Yarn. Kirby Wii should keep the Kirby Super Star gameplay.

Whaa, but I loved the elemental sword and bomb, I wished that Wheel and Tornado Kirby can get elemental mixed as well, but I guess environment is ok.

I agree, in every single Kirby game that has Tornado Kirby it's broken and boring to use. If Tornado were to come back, they should give it more moves.

Awesome. So glad my genius could be put to work.

Also, is anyone else like disappointed by how the game looks graphically? I really wasn't at all impressed by the graphics. At all.

anyone else think that MK was really predictable? :p

even if he is predictable, it's still a crappy matchup for kirby

man I haven't played/watched brawl in a while. it's so depressing... if i were to go to a tourney right now I'd do meh. Every time I go to a tourney I usually feel like I learn things that will help me improve, but I don't have anyone to practice with so the things I learned fade over time and I go back to the way I was >_>

If they do make this kirby game on the wii I just pray to god they make it challenging and worth the money. Cus everytime a game is remade on the wii its so easy my dog could beat it.

Is it so hard for nintendo to give us a game on the wii that is a challenge I know its directed towards younger audiences but i bet even the five year olds are like "boy this is easier than sleeping." -___-

@Rap- It's not guaranteed.

@Everyone else- So I've become better as a player I think, and my Fox can get me wins, so I'm happy with my decision so far. BUT I did have fun playing a smallllll amount of Kirby during doubles, and I had A LOT of fun planking w/ MK. I've never planked as hard as I've planked all weekend. None of my matches went to time, but I abused that ledge like no tomorrow and it was hilarious. So, until WHOBO, I'ma rarely use Kirby, and I'm gonna spam Fox and MK. Just gotta reconfig. my controller to make SHTL easier; and all I really gotta do is get comfortable with one of the set-ups most Foxes use.

afk.

If you footstool and your opponent falls down to the ground while your changing to stone it's guarantee, but thanks to Stone Kirby taking too long changing it's a chance of them dodging it. D-Air > Footstool on the other hand... =3

A Kirby's most sacred, secret, darkest of arts. To gain this ability, one must sacrifice one's humanity in order to gain, you must leave your conscience and become one with manipulation and chaos. IF YOU DARE, bring the Kirby boards a blood sacrifice as a sign of your commitment to this arduous journey and we will show you the way of the HUP!

Okay. You can have a turkey. There's a wild one I caught earlier, it travels with its pals around my backyard a lot this time of year. It's currently in my basement.

So can I learn now?
