For the Pokemon people... what water types should I be using throughout the game?

It seems I have very limited options... and that sucks >:[

Edit: Wth!!!!! You don't get a fishing rod until the game is beaten? So lame >_>

Not really but they are faster and will tech everything.

It's definitely different and I'd recommend trying out the code. The learn just like level 9s.

I dunno if I want to go through with pure water anymore.

I have only two Pokemon and it's my starter and Golduck... I'm in despair at the fact that I need I need Surf / a Fishing Rod to catch a water type and I can't get Surf until I'm significantly far in the game >_>

I can't beat Elesa. I absolutely love the name of the models in her gym though!

Some Pokedex Website said:
Where to find Tympole
Tympole Sprite
One of N's Pokemon, found as a random encounter in the Pinwheel Forest after beating the game and performing a Memory Link with Pokemon Black or Pokemon White. OT is N and it has a Modest nature. Available at level 13.
Blah the Pokemon game makers clearly hate water types.

well... the game wasn't designed for mono runs ._. pretty sure you have more options than i do as fighting at like... every point in the game

can't you have ducklett and tirtouga by this point?

I need to beat the game to get Tirtouga according to the Pokedex.

The bridge with the Ducklett is "being inspected for the first time in years" so I can't catch that either.

I checked the guide (and looked significantly into the future parts of the game) and the only other thing I can find until I get Surf is Panpour/Marill in shaking grass. I tried to catch any one of them but they never showed up :(

No multi-typed Water Pokemon at all! :(

I wish I could tough it out until I beat the gym afterward but Elesa is more of a ***** than Peach >:[

I have a Level 4 Riolu (from a very early part of the game) that is probably due to evolve next time it levels...

Jake is definitely dropping Yoshi
I don't know much about the newer gen pokemon, but when I read ducklett, all I could think of was a Psyduck that acted just like a Diglett (i.e. would only show it's head above the ground, and would dig holes everywhere).

Anyways, when I eventually get around to playing pokemon games again, which will eventually happen, I plan on beating Gen 3, 4, and 5a before playing through B/W 2.

Ducklett is on the super long bridge to the west of Nimbasa, and it's blocked off by Charles and some couple having a rotation battle... I thought the one being inspected was either to the east of Nimbasa or Castelia?

I'm nuzlocking this, and blind nuzlockes suck. :( Down to a Stoutland level 36, a Boldore level 27, a Shelmet level 29, and a Frillish (female) level 15 or something.

Lost a Heracross and Magmar, to name a few.

Basically what I'm saying is I'm gonna get sick of training new pokes eventually and turn it into a Stoutland solo run. xD

You're probably right Jesse<3. Good to know the actual bridge with the Ducklett is STILL blocked.

Man is Pokemon so easy that everybody needs to do some special run to make it challenging? A Stoutland-only run sounds like it'll be a load of fun :p

I've done a Linoone only Sapphire run, and Stoutland is at least good, so I wouldn't see any problem with it. :3

Solo runs are pretty free, actually. The real challenge is when you pick an unevolved Poke. Still though, the fact that you only have to take care of one thing, and you're technically grinding the whole game. Like, My level 70-ish Linoone swept the elite 4 easily. Just teach it EQ and Surf and you're good to go.

A Lillipup solo run would be hard as ****.

@Aleate :D<3

You should make this new roommate play Peach. Problem solved.

Lol Neebs :( Sucks you should play Black/White 2 with more restraint this time, haha.

How can a Linoone beat the Elite 4? >_>
