I just beat Path of Radiance! Yay :)

It was such a good game and I'm glad I put time into it. I have a few afterthoughts and I'd like some of your input Jake :)

-Is it normal to be "racist" to Laguz and never use them? I find that they're absolutely useless apart from... Tibarn and Reyson?
-Is the game supposed to be... this easy? Granted I was only on Normal difficulty but I noticed that the game gets easier (aside from the Black Knight which may be one of the silliest bosses ever...) but more time consuming as the game progresses.
-Is having four healers by the game's end (all maxed, <3 Bonus Exp) kind of cheap?
-Who got hired to do voice acting and am I only one who thought it was kind of bad?
-What was the point of Leanne...? I can't understand a SINGLE WORD she is saying.
-In the next game, is Ike still like: I don't need honour or riches because I have my friends? Does he ever smile? Will Laguz actually be useful?

I tried it a few years ago. Got to chapter 1 before I sent my lord to fight a bunch of brigands with 20% hit rates, got hit by most of them, and died. >.> I think I got distracted by another game or something and forgot about it...

Yeah... Ike was doing like 9 damage per turn and the Black Knight would heal 6. He kept activating his special ability while Ike decided to screw me over time and time again. Thankfully I maxed out Mist (I love the Valkyrie class) which really helped. :)

I crippled half of my characters by thinking I could reassign skills... sigh :( I'll have to find a way to finish Radiant Dawn soon!

Haha I accidentally got into the series during my vacation. I got my 3DS before the price drop so I got a ton of free games, and one of them was Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. It was really fun but me being me (and also a beginner), I felt the need to restart any level if any character died in a battle which only increased the amount of time I spent playing and the game grew on me :)

Restarting every time a character dies is perfectly normal. =P

They are in this game. They'd be more satisfying to use if they gained EXP...

FE games get easier as your team gets stronger. That's just the way it is~

Not at all. If you want 4 healers, that's your choice.

Fire Emblem isn't exactly known for its voice acting. =P

Everything you needed to know could be inferred from how other characters respond to her. She just doesn't know English. IS THAT SO WRONG?!?

Ike's values and unwillingness to smile both pretty much stay unchanged. You'll probably use Laguz more in Radiant Dawn because of the changes in their mechanics, coupled with the fact that you get a lot more useful Laguz units.

Well I did guess at what Leanne said but her inability to speak English caused her hawk attendant to die because she couldn't say "Behind you!". :p

Maybe she screamed but how could I tell? But yeah that other language is definitely an element that I didn't really like...

It's getting cold. Days are getting shorter. Rainclouds are getting closer.

School at BCIT starts on Wednesday, but my payroll course at Douglas starts tomorrow~


I really hate Meta Knight considering the characters that I play but I definitely won't say no to learning the matchup. Watch out, MKs.

For our side event, let's do balanced random partner doubles!

It's a great way to "meet" people and to play with people you normally can't. :)

do random partner doubles if you guys have enough ppl (tho you need an equal number of good to bad players) it's really fun
