I go to sfu tomorrow, today was my last day on the farm.




Also I wouldn't mind random partner doubles since in theory we will be getting like 10 new metaknights people


I guess it could be set up so that like first gets teamed with someone who ties for last, second gets teamed with someone who ties for last, third gets teamed with someone who tied for last (this was a terrible example) and so on until you meet in the middle somewhere.

Just so we're clear, the word college refers to what we call college in Canada as well as University.

So at my Payroll course at Douglas today, I sat in the middle of the room and I was completely surrounded by obese women... such a strange feeling...

What if we had a tournament where the rule was "you and your opponent have to use characters on the opposite sides of the tier list. i.e. if one person uses MK, the other must use Ganon. If someone uses the 9th best character, the other must use the 9th worst character. This way, people will have to find someone who uses the character that "opposites" their character. I'm just suggesting this so that we have, say, the better players forced to play low tier characters if necessary.

Teams would be

MK & Ganon (Any Ganon's out there? We've got tons of MK's...)
Olimar & Zelda (Bryan & Kev/Caiden, if Bryan shows up)
Diddy & Link (Trevor & Daz (?) I remember there was a Link player, I think it was him lol)
Ice Climbers & Jigglypuff (oh wait LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL)
Snake & Falcon
Falco & Bowser
Marth & Samus
Pikachu & Mario (Landon/Jeremy & Sheldon?)
Wario & Lucas
ZSS & Luigi
Lucario & Pokemon Trainer
DDD & Ness (Ness gets a chance to know how it feels to be with someone invincible)
Toon Link & Yoshi (Lol the irony that Jake would have to team with his least favourite opponent character)
Wolf & Sheik
GaW & Ike (Me and Kev?)

Although Lucas Wario just seems like a stacked team.

Edit: Lucario PT is also pretty awesome, man there are some pretty good options here.

I thought that too. I also noticed afterwards that me and Dawson as Jigglypuff IC would also be a little broken, as that's both of our #1 mains (imo, my Puff > my GaW). Then again, IC aren't good in doubles (though Puff can maybe help them keep their grab going).

But seriously, the intended purpose of this is so that people who are using high tier characters must find someone who uses that specific character to be able to use them in doubles. Otherwise, they'll have to switch to someone else. In other words, we have 10 or so MK's. We have no Ganons. Something has to happen.

Yo Rob Swordgard claimed that ICs bowser was a good team and Zigsta and Delux did it at revelations and did well.

Maybe ICs puff can also be good with the same kind of janky shenanigans.

There's only one R.O.B. now.Playing all of them is just playing Jason, which for some reason I do like every tournament.

But Jake I might go R.O.B. on a double blind so be careful.

I'm serious.

we did that doubles idea in AB once, except we divided into tiers, so top tier would have to go with someone from bottom tier, etc. not quite as limiting as rob's idea, and it seemed to work pretty well.

how did MK work? Was he clumped into top tier with the tier below him, or was he in a tier of his own?

If you want more options, we could always say "your teammate must use either this character or one worse". This way:

MK must team with Ganon. Ganon can team with anyone.
Olimar must team with Zelda or Ganon. Zelda can team with anyone except MK.
Diddy must team with Link, Zelda, or Ganon. Link can team with anyone except Olimar and MK.

etc.

Pit can team with anyone Kirby and lower. Kirby can team with anyone Pit and lower.
ROB can team with himself, or anyone lower than himself.

This way, the better the character, the fewer team options that character has. And isn't as limiting as my other idea.

Another idea for a side event:

MK players vs the rest crew battle.

MK was a tier of his own.

We also had the "or worse" too. Basically, MK was 9 points, top tier was 8 points, etc. down to bottom tier 1 point, and each team could not exceed 10 points.

Just applied for the Shaw Campus package! For 8 months, you get 20 Mbps downloading speed (is this even good?) internet with 200 GB of data and 512 Kbps upload (is this good too?) and a basic cable package for $36 dollars. Best of all, you can renew the package and since my school year is actually 9 months, I can renew it for an additional 8 months even though I won't be a full time student past May! <3

Shaw needs coupons. :)
