I am very interested to see an Ice Climber player.

I think you can practice on HDTV and just remember that you will execute things faster on CRT and you should be able to transfer back and forth.

Can you CG all characters, kev?

Honestly, I only practised 2-3 hours in total. I can't do it yet on another player, but I can do it on Marth, Falco, Bowser, Pikachu, and Zelda pretty consistently if they are standing CPUs. I haven't really tried it on anybody else.

I have yet to learn to chaingrab with down throw and the Popo fthrow -> Nana bthrow.

On players and cpus standing still is the same thing lol.

Also, learning a "proper" way of cging is silly. If you find a way that is just easier for you, do that. I do dthrow to fthrow, but I know a lot of variations. There is a EU ICs that when he cgs MK, bthrows with nana, and pivot grabs with popo, meaning he cgs backwards.

Well I tried it yesterday right, I kinda blanked out and couldn't really get used to the timing... in time to chaingrab consistently.

If I stick with IC, I am pretty determined to learn the Popo fthrow -> Nana bthrow since it's guaranteed tripless (yeah that's the Nana bthrow -> buffered turnaround forward throw... landed it a few times so far :p)

Learn some hardcore sick super combos that lead into grab and then into some hobbling and then grab my banana and lead it into a single nana lock and then finish it with a Nana spike.

Those characters are so messy >_> Im thinking the first 3 characters are a name (CAn't read what they are though lulz) and then you're saying that person is the best brawl player. I have no clue what that character is after 玩。

There are other tripless cgs. My dthrow to fthrow is tripless, but the accidentally dashing is actually pretty common :/. But popo bthrow to nana dthrow is tripless too.

Haha, you're amazing. The last character is 家.

I just read over whatever guides were available on the IC boards. As far as I know, this is all I found in terms of tripless CGs.

I don't have the writing of a person living in China. It's much bulkier but easier to read for beginners. In both English and Chinese, my writing is very feminine :(

Courier, that guide was made because there is like no chance of tripping during the cg. There are still tripless cgs, but you can't mess up. I think with that one you can hit the control stick as hard as you want and won't trip.

Oh okay, I really had no idea. I only ever trip with Nana when she tries to catch Popo's back throw. :x

I myself am partial to the nana dthrow popo bthrow, or just fthrows until you hit an edge then do one bthrow and repeat in the other direction.

Of course I never practice them and would drop them right away, because Pikachu has his own fancy stuff that I can't even do yet.... I've only been trying to nail it for like a year now.

Honestly, if you pick up Olimar you can fix your habits really well since he's so easy. You just have to get over the whole gimp you dead thing.

Olimar is broken. Purple up smash kills at 100% and the grab range and power is insane. He also camps like crazy...

It's because of Olimar that I decided to use Peach because the Zelda vs. Olimar matchup is so hopeless.

Good news! Our mascot has risen on the tier list and is no longer 2nd last!
At least in the European tier list =/
