O.o so... yeah...First off, apologies to Sam because my phone was on silent and I left it on Dawson's bed so that's why I didn't answer your calls after.

Read this thinking it was about you. Actually scared me.I'm 20 years old and i can't get a better job than at a fast food place; it's the only place that will hire a high school graduate. i'm socially awkward, and my only co-worker hates me. i'd complain, but my boss only cares about money. i'd leave, but i can't pass my drivers test, or any test i've ever taken. i'm in love with one of my only friends. she's a smart, athletic, gorgeous southern belle. but, i'm stuck in the friend zone. my only other friend is this guy, who i'm pretty sure only talks to me, because he's mentally ********. and to top it off, i live in a pineapple under the sea.
No, I automatically auto-pilot. I don't fall into expected attacks, and on wifi im constantly hating on myself because i can't react to my opponent, which is apparently something pretty big in my gameplay, as I'm a lot better offline.Yeah I know what you mean. I go into that "auto-pilot" mode all the time, where I just start randomly tossing bananas and doing the most predictable things.
Something Jake told me that some other Yoshi told him is to talk quietly to yourself as you play. Just saying simple things that keep your mind on the game and the match-up, so you won't throw out predictable moves or fall into expected attacks.
I find you're more prone to go into auto-pilot if you're facing computers or opponents who aren't at a competitive level (I'm talking like kirby rock spammers and falcon's who like to approach with falcon punch... every time here). The more practice I got at the monthlies, the more I thought about the match at hand.
i dont think you need to play against other people to be good at brawl(or melee)Yeah I know what you mean. I go into that "auto-pilot" mode all the time, where I just start randomly tossing bananas and doing the most predictable things.

Hey I can totally relate. I was actually just talking to Rob about how I don't feel like I'm getting better at all but I guess keep at it and something will click eventually. Sucks that my characters are so limited as well. =/I just realized why its so damn hard for me to get better at brawl.
Nothing goes through my head when i play, except for the occasional thing. The main thing thats said about me is I should not be so predictable.
How the hell do I not be predictable when I don't even think about what im doing...
Why do I have to live in an area where I can never play locally...
1. I don't need to get decent, my pit boards are horrible (only five matchups done....) I also definitely dont need to emulate your skill level, no offence.Arcansi, you just have to practice. I got decent by playing wifi and cpus, looking at other marios play, reading mario boards, you just have to practice.
Being predictable is about being creative.
Who do you play? Shielda? Shielda has great options. Also, if you could land lightning kick even 50% of the time I don't think anyone would be able to punish.Hey I can totally relate.
