1. i'm not good lol, which is what i meant about ckit, i haven't seen him so i doubt his greatness. Now just so you guys dont think i'm ****ing ******** or anything, i follow EVERYONE good. I knew all the good players in the midwest when I was still back in norcal. Ckit was good back then, but i would think the game's evolved past him. I'd love to be mistaken though.
Like, I thought Iggy was **** from the way his matches went against tink at the glen elen tourney. That doesn't tell me anything about his patience game at all, and I quickly found that if i wanted to, I could've pulled a pink shinobi and won easily. Also iggy has no idea how good my peach is against foxes :D No disrespect at all towards him, he's ****ing legit and isn't even ****talking lol. It's the lesser players that are doing it.
2. deku is pretty ****, he beats good people and loses to his girlfriend every tourney around 13th or 17th place

Back in the day I used to be pretty good at Peach dittos, and I was patient. Wife even asked me to help him with the matchup.
But, since I've started playing melee again after 1.5 years of Brawl, there's some things I'm just not doing well; and being patient is one of them apparently. You did rock me pretty well in that set, though.
Buuuut, I've always liked teams way more, and think I'm better in teams. Me and Cunning are taking teams.
Me against Tink has been pretty weird recently though, back in like 2007 I could never take a match off; but lately I've been able to do a lot better against him.

out of tourney before, pulling random upsets
and we've also barely lost (3rd game last stocks)

but yeahh iggy teach me how to do things to tink's marth lolll

Oh my god i feel the hate flowing through the last 2 pages...chill guys, we're all on the same page here. we play the game because its fun...not because we love to talk ****. right? lets hug it out and HYPE THIS ****ING TOURNEY
No hate required or supplied. We just felt the trash talk was out of line. Thing is, Kitsune hasn't exactly slacked off the game as much as people might like to think so. Also, we don't handle unnecessary trash talk very well over here. We all love the game, and we try as much as possible to be good sports about it.

If you read any of the updated portion, you would see that he clearly still knows what's going on in the metagame right now.

After 'quitting' smash (like, that game doesn't interest me anymore. I only play when it gets down to one of few options of socializing),
I just lost all my skills. lol
I miserably fail at any point.
but BECAUSE i fail so much if i try something fancy, I changed myself to very patient player..
so i still do ok, somehow.. >_>
but techy people just mess me up anytime though. lol

Matt R and Sliq? No offense to either of those guys, but you need to play Anthony and see for yourself. You've been here before, so I'm surprised you haven't taken that chance.

Not trying to be rude but theres a reason why people use their own money in tournaments...
If you use your own money your less reluctant to do stupid stuff and actually think/try to win matches..
If someone paid for me.. Yeah i would try my hardest but i wouldnt be in the same mindset because its not my money im losing..

Sliq always does well against him. He lost 2-1 in both SMYM9 sets. But I think that is an insignificant point.
IDK why people feel like they have to take up for kitsune so ridiculously and get all up in arms when someone questions his "almighty godliness". Sounds alot like some kind of fundamentalist religion. Either he shows up in singles and performs, or he is just a mystery. A "perhaps good" or "good vs his purdue friends". I don't think it is unfair to say that either. I mean, if I had a militant band of people claiming I was great but I refused to enter a tournament, would you take their word for it?
Its nothing to get so stressed over really. Asking someone to enter a recent tournament before you claim they are the best or one of the best players in an entire US region is not too much to ask. Seriously. If he doesn't do that then everyone has the right to doubt you "believers".
EDIT: Meneks, yeah im sure if it isnt on your own money it might not be the same. But slowly we can isolate all of the variables that could make him not enter. Its not travel, its not TOing, its not money. There cant be much left.
As I said, no offense intended to either of those guys. However, when we talk about someone who used to place 13th at the national level, making these comparisons with good regional performers, in the Midwest no less, seems rather odd. You should ask any of the Midwest's best who were there when Cunning traveled more.
On the mention of Kels, I could quote him directly on this from when he last visited us ( this was Kels talking to me):
"....but Cunning Kitsune, maaaaaaan.... I though he'd be rusty after not playing me for so long, but he was wreckin' me and ****!"
