So wes sends me this brawl video at apex and like Inlovewitlil: thats plank against puffster **** is so sad. so i'm like ightt let me watch..... first thing i noticed is that it went to 10 mins exact so i knew there was going to be camping....... but this is to the next level of what is capable in brawl crawl. YA are either playing for money or to make a name for yourself.... then of course since [pros] think it's cool to have all of this stupidness in the game thinking they have a chance to win.... ya keep all of it. This game called super smash bros brawl was not meant for competitve play. look at plank...... no offense but that is not skill at all. he out jump a player with a super fast and safe move and all the diddy was capable of doing was throwing bananas....... does that make plank the better player? imagine if someone use a character with no projectiles against a mk like that.... then what?


Ya are blind. i play sf4 and it is nowhere near this stupid and i been playing actual pros now. i hear alot of people saying oh brawl plus sucks and it's stupid. I know why ya say it..... cause ya have no chance in that game. How can a game get any worse than brawl crawl? Brawl plus is already 4 times better for the simple fact is that there is no chain grabbing to the extreme or none at all, moves make a whole lot more sense, basically every character in the game has a chance to compete and the game can be tweaked at any time. ONLY THE PEOPLE THAT SUCK IN COMPETITVE PLAY WILL SAY OH THIS GAME SUCKS, CAUSE IT HAS TO MUCH STUN LMAO. I bet ya used to say the same for melee cause ya couldn't deal with the speed and being [TRULY] GOOD IN THE GAME.


I will be hosting brawl plus real soon and i am helping them with the development of the game. people who want to stick to brawl crawl and kill people with an uppercut from luigi at 40 percent or kill people with a one min and a half fart at 50-60 percent or chain throw someone with with falco, pikachu and ddd and rack up extreme amount of damage. Look at ic's with one grab and it's your whole stock.... even though honestly it doesn't look easy and i can't really judge that. LOOK at snake with his extreme disjointed hitboxes that hits literally 2 characters away...... when did snake have wind powers? In melee if you was realllly good and your opponent was really bad.... it would be 4 stock game.... in brawl if you are realllly good and your opponent is really bad..... you might get a 2 stock with high percent.

I can say there is few people in Brawl crawl with actual skill. I bet the other people will not ever touch brawl plus or play any other games that require true skill. if not prove me wrong and don't touch characters such as mk and let me see ya play another game...... and if you do good, then i can recongize you as a legit competitve player. This game will not evolve and only get more broken as times passes. When i saw the results and it show nothin but the same 5 characters down the list.... i said wes this is only a year old and it already has it's main stars lol. I LOVE smash just like the rest of ya, but lets all be honest.... THIS GAME DOES NOT REQUIRE THAT MUCH SKILL AND BRAINPOWER. My summer throwdowns is coming real soon just to let ya know so if ya are interested, oni163 is my aol name and i live in the bx. yes2good9487: It's the least fun I've ever had with a game. It takes zero skill to play, and the game revolves around mindless camping. It's the only way to win. Games last for so long because there's no hitstun, and it's impossible to gimp someone unless they're Link. Camping involves one character spamming ****, and if the other character has to chase, they do this for a minute or so. Once the chaser catches the camper, the camper takes about 10% damage and the camping resets. How is that fun, and how is that preferred by people over brawl+ where all the skill-less chaingrabs and infinites are gone? I just don't get it...

It's understood that Brawl+ stands no chance of being mainstream due to it's uber-hax0r'dness but as far as huge player-held tourneys are concerned (such as APEX aka GAYSEX) perhaps now that the power to balance to game is in our hands, it'd be smart to use it effectively and create a better, more fun competitive game.

It is indeed not their faults, because it is the game being that bad...but Brawl+ retains the ability to be tweaked at first sign of imbalance.

I have to agree with Bum on this one. Brawl has gotten so boring just because of this type of playstyle. To be fair, it's Plank and we all know how he plays. Also, the games mechanics lend itself to be played like this. Its sad that we're only going to see more of this for about another 6 years.

Because there is no advancing to be made, Seph. The game is based on camping. Why fight when there are no combos, hitstun and in some cases you get punished for hitting your opponent.

Camping is waaaay better. You can camp and camp and camp. If your opponent catches you, you take 10% and then go back to camping until they catch you again, which doesn't happen quite often. In brawl+, I admit I camp like a gay, but my fox gets combo'd and ***** for being caught.

Puff can be annoying but thats a long description of insults about him and making him look bad in your layout of what happened in the match. Didn't really seem needed.

I don't see what the big deal is in this particular match, Puff could have hit him with nanners on peanuts(maybe) while he was jumping around all that time. Yeah its a gay strategy but I still believe he had options unlike what some chars would have. I'd have more sympathy if a bad character was used on puffs part.

That match was on puffster going about it badly, nevermind the fact that he plays a character that moves around the air just fine.

You're going to tell me that one match in a set against a notoriously campy as **** player in a tournament where COUNTLESS amazing matches were played is going to offset all the good matches that went down?

Yeah if you count 3 matches on FD, 2 of which ending the exact same way essentially 'intense' (neither would have happened on smashville or even the wifi room replacement of new pork city that people were shouting for the players to use repeatedly)

When watching the end of brawl+ all I saw was a copious amount of mindless aggression and a number of matches being lost because of sheer acting before thinking. Should I base the entire game off of a match or 2 going down that way? No, not really. Using that logic melee's campy skillessness was shown by spammer on pokefloats.

Lastly, it's a tournament match. You're going to complain about entertainment in a tournament match? Last I checked, if you're paying money to enter something with a cash payout and your first priority isnt that cash payout, you were better off playing friendlies. The goal of types of sets are all different, friendlies can be fun or pride, money matches can be pride or the money, tournament matches should flat out be the money, no exceptions.

In other words put your bible down and get off your soapbox, ****'s boring.

Also it's funny to see a bunch of people who all play characters that flat out gayed the **** out of my old main complain about gay tactics in this game, acting like you know.

Its funny how me and the rest of D.A tried to hold tournaments based on rules that will make the more competitive but yet people dont show up lol. And now i hear complaints from people about camping and all of the gay ****. Well ryoshet what bum is trying to say ok we understand that your not always going to get entertainment out of a tournament match but the things that are used to win tournament matches are silly. Now right now you sound like an hippercrite because yesterday we was playing and u said it your self you dont enjoy Brawl(REGULAR BRAWL) winning or losing. Does that make sense but u stand by the game eventhough u say the things that people do to win and the way the game is makes u tired of it? To be honest the way the community go about implementing rules into tournament play make the game not really competitve at all and like i said awhile back it will kill the span of the game.



Already people are retiring from and come back to this game and it hasnt been 2 yrs yet wtf. **** is silly people. A while ago i talked to shadow online and told him that he wasnt good with mk and that mk should be banned Shadow didnt thing so i told him that he is being unfair. Then he said that well he is winning im telling him that slowly he will win but the payouts for 1st will get lower and lower and lower until its not going to be any decent turnouts left. But the funny thing is he didnt care when i said that lol. And i can see why people like mlg and other leagues didnt pick up brawl yet thats because this community is a bunch of lil kids that just want to win on all costs no matter if its fair or not. The way of this community is " if you cant beat them join them" You know how boring that is for leagues to pick up a game that the finals will be the same 2 to MAYBE 3 CHARACTERS over and over again, BORING!!!!

This is a broken game that is not watchable. Ya of course want to say otherwise cause ya want to kiss a55, so ya have more chance to talk to a pro player or get tips from one or whatever the case is. Mk's can float and do that gay **** all day if they wanted to... and of course snake can fight mk...... that dude has projectiles and wind powers. I noticed the mk/snake players are the only ones defending this game like inui.

yea sagat and dhaslism is a boring fight..... but the game is a box. You can only go so far and none of them can jump multiple times so don't evennnnnn try to bring it down to the same level. Basically what i am saying is that this game will die fast as long as people keep losing to cheap stuff..... would you want to keep giving your money to players who obviosuly isn't better. Nothing has changed, but it getting more broken as times passes on.


Of course i don't go to these tournaments anymore. This game isn't about skill. I would love to see someone say they are better than me in brawl lol. I will say use every character and i will also and lets see who wins...... then i will say lets play sf4 and see who wins, then gears of war 2 and lets see who wins and keep it going. Ya are not true competitors man. The fact that this game needs custom bans to the extreme is why it's a bad game. It's been a year yet rules are still not down packed yet lol. You go to one tournament to the next and the rules are like completely different. SAY I'M WRONG AND I WILL SHOW YOU 4 TOURNAMENTS WITH 4 DIFFERENT RULES GURANTEED.

I also know whats the problem with this community. Ya are either young kids or young minded adults real talk. I can agree that in a tournament match or boxing match or whatever, you have to play your style to win..... but when you boring your audience/fans will start to die down. To be continue combos lmao..... like serious thats not even cute at all. You get hit with an down air from ganondorf and you are able to air dodge right away lol. RYKO**** COMPLAINING ABOUT BRAWL PLUS AND IT'S MINDLESS AGGRESSION LOL. you can use the hugs card like everyone else does it doesnt matter to me lol cause i would rather be 2nd best then # 1020230303 sheik player and the only reason hugs would be beetter thann me is because of the fact he went tomore tournaments at the time when i was quitting and placed top 13 lol everytime. But me when i was at my prime and everyone was good i would place top 5 to 9 everytime but im not going to go on about the past the game melee is done adn u suck in both brawl in melee so w.e loll.

Using that logic melee's campy skillessness was shown by spammer on pokefloats.

That **** is hard as hell to do properly. I challenge any Brawl player who thinks that it is easy to try that against good people in Melee.

Yeah you can say I suck at melee and brawl, but I would **** you at both of them terribly so what does is matter what you say, Wes? You are all talk and you've always been all talk. Nobody has been impressed with anything you've done since 2004. You aren't a hotshot and you mean nothing to the smash community. Continue hosting your stupid scrubby tournaments with stupid scrubby rules, nobody cares and it doesn't effect any of us. You will never be good again unless you drop the idiotic mentality. YUP SPAM IS RIGHT AND WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN AT LOL? SF4 has real combos and yea you can turtle, but no one can run forever.... you eventually will hit a corner. melee took alot more skill than brawl. i like brawl cause of the characters and the stages. I'm not mad at anyone. I just don't like how ya bash brawl plus when it's not even at tip top shape and it's still alot better than brawl crawl. It's not cause you can do combos or it's more flashy..... but it don't make sense when mk does a 1000 mph tornado and doesn't have bad after lag. In every fighting game if you spin like yoshmistu or dk and bowser or rufus in sf4 or zang most people can duck under his [spinning] lariat, you have either lag or you are vunerable in some kind of way. In brawl plus mk has alot more lag than in brawl crawl which makes more sense. up b doesn't kill fast anymore from him either.

Ya all complain about sakurai messing up and ya was quitting... but now that ya are making money.... ya want to keep this version of this game alive lol. I bet when ya start losing money in months ya will be like ****.... bum was right.
