Oh my god, a Pokémon that resists another Pokémon's moves! Someone should document this new and fascinating discovery!

taking none and taking some is a huge difference

meanign that taking no damage is way better, he always wins

hence why bibarel needs to run HP electric

Don't forget Burungeru takes a whopping 0 damage from Water/Normal/Fighting!
I'm sorry that I find a giant blue jellyfish ghost to be completely forgettable. Because I really do. My god is that thing ****ing terrible looking. I think I'm going to go forget about it AGAIN like I did before. Because I CAN.

I'm betting if I ran Sub filler and lefties I could probably beat Burungeru anyway. Just PP stall the little ****. Depending on defensive stats, of course.

implying pokemon design has anything to do with how good it is.

The best pokemon in OU is something you hang over your dining room table. In the last gen the best defensive ghost was an EZ Bake oven.

lolololol.

Rotom was my favorite pokemon in Gen IV. He was the best steel check. Best spin-blocker. Awesome typing.

I loved that little dude.

I was talking about the fact that I forgot about it. Because it's forgettable.

I'm not sure what part of that I didn't make clear.

I loved Rotom though. So cute. :3

How is it forgettable? It's a ****ing Ghost with Water Absorb. How could you forget an awesome typing like that?

Yeah and Ghost's aren't exactly abundant.

Lumineon is the most forgettable Pokemon out there.

Edit:

Actually no this thing is:

lumineon is the biggest waste of space for a pokemon ever

i remember finneon more than lumineon cause it had a friggen awesome warcry and just looks badass for a little fish

they should've made lumineon with qwilfish-like stats (not good but can use it under certain circumstances) and just left him as a 1 stage poke instead of giving us this ugly piece of crap pokemon

but anyways, there really needs to be a rapid spinner that can hit ghosts

Because I have eyes, and they work just fine.

I even like Lumineon and Mothim more than I like Burungeru, if that says anything. Lumineon was at least kinda pretty and Mothim's got those itty bitty arms. :3

It's too bad almost all of the Rapid Spin users who wouldn't care about having a Bulls-Eye over some other item aren't entirely good. Maybe Claydol if you really needed spin support...I guess he could kinda work. I'd say Donphan for giving him the opportunity to also spam STAB EQ when he's not busy Spinning, but when he IS trying to Spin he's getting ****ed over left and right by entry hazards, so Sturdy is then useless and he's probably dying before he can even do his job.

Shandera will come around AT EARLIEST during the third installments of the games, or "Gray Version"

Why? Because the OW sprite data in the high link doesn't exist for Gen V Pokemon. We won't have 5th Gen Pokemon DW abilities for another two years or so.

Toxic + Aerial Ace or Fling + Acrobat on my poison heal gliscor? I like the extra power of acrobat after fling, but I also really like being able to toxic people. Oh dilemma dilemma.

Toxic Aerial Ace.

And Acrobat receives a boost? How so?

Substitute- Protect- Aerial Ace- Toxic

Its basically Stallrein but alot better.
Most of your damage will be coming from toxic and if its Roobu or Breloom your hitting AA will be enough if you don't let Roo get a 2 Bulk ups.

But both set leaves you open to Steels so good luck.

UNLESS

You really only want to toxic ONE pokemon. With fling or whatever it is you poison the other poke with Toxic Orb right?
And it'd be really awesome if you got like leftovers. You'd be getting like 18% HP a turn.
I run 252 HP around 60ish into atk and rest into Def.

Moozle is considering Fling + Acrobat because Fling essentially Toxic's a Pokemon, and then gives a boost to Acrobat because Gliscor would have no item while still healing through Poison Heal.

I really hate Shinbora and Rankurusu. Earlier I went up against a Shinbora, it was their last poke and I had 5 left. It was running something like Cosmic Power~Psycho Shift~Assist Power~Roost with Magic Guard, and needless to say, I got ****ed.

Edit: Also, is Victory Star only for team battles?

Victory Star effects yourself.

I've seen Shinbora used effectively a couple times, a good reason to have something that can Trick Choice items.

Hitmonlee can reach up to 600 Speed after 1 move if you give him Unburden, Fake Out and a Normal Jewel? He can also learn Hi Jump Kick/Close Combat?

Yeah, he's on my team now.

Oh is that why people are using Normal Jewel Hitmonlee? I was wondering about that.

lol

fire + fighting combination is too good

lots of pokes in the metagame that resist both

but also lots that dont. and those types tend to hit REALLY HARD.

blaziken is so awesome rofl. come in at the right time -> ****

I know i know.

Im just pointing out that every pokemon can ****. Some are just mentally handicapped at it and need it shoved down their mouth with a funnel.

and... holy poo. Anyone used Gates' Tentacruel concept?

HOLY ****

That thing is a freakin beast even without rain.

Well. I guess its better in Ubers due to its more prominent niche.

Basically, it takes special hits like a cha----here.

"ShumaGorath (Tentacruel) (M) @ Black Sludge
Ability: Rain Dish
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 248 SDef / 4 Spe
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Toxic Spikes
- Ice Beam
- Mirror Coat
- Surf

Mirror Coat Tentacruel was something that I started using in late Gen IV, and it was beautiful. It was able to get rid of Toxic Spikes just by entering play, set up T.Spikes of his own, survive a ton of stuff it shouldn't have (Timid Full Health Specs Kyogre Water Spout in rain, Scarf Palkia Thunder, etc.) and OHKO back with Mirror Coat...and that was only with 120 SpD! Back then he functioned like a Forretress and Wobbuffet combined, and with Rain Dish he's even better. Once this guy gets going, he can be hard for my opponent to kill without a Groudon, and if he gets time to set up they won't have a Groudon for long anyway. HP and SpD are close to max to maximize the number of special attacks he can take. 4 Spe is for other base 100s with no speed investment."

I think it has more use in Ubers due to how many Special Attackers there are along with a buttload of other differences. But I can see him being of use to help cover Natt's weaknesses, and help stall on Rain teams lol.
