Kamloops is too far. Or I'd probably go the whole 9 yards (probably a lot more than that) to get to Vancouver for some smashing. But I want something close so I can just stay up there and then get to the next UBCO smashfest.

But now that I think of it, going to Vancouver could be awesome stuff.

I don't work this upcoming sunday though, so if someone wants to house me for sat night, I won't have to close the smashfest down to get a ride to the bus station.

Ms. is the term usually used to describe a divorced or widowed woman, or and older unmarried woman. Miss is generally used for a young woman, though it is technically possible to apply it to the older women as well.

Also, the title "Miss" is an abbreviation itself, short for "Mistress(Or however many ssss's that word has) Wheras Ms. is a generic term that is not an abbreviation for anything.

^Yes, actually that's true, however the most common reasons for the Ms. to remain ambiguous are the three I said above. Most unmarried women past age 30 or so don't like having the same title as a 15-year old. I simply meant to call out Cakey on his insistance that the two meant the same thing.

It's a loose term, another one of English's invented terms that doesn't really abbreviate anything.
