Vancouver deconfirmed for MOST3, Daltsy possibly too as I haven't heard from him yet
But Vic, TMDubs and Jumblez might come just for doubles or something. Still undecided
Also, everyone who plays Brawl should make an AllisBrawl account. We can make a group for UBCO that would be way more efficient for keeping track of things like results and attendance and it's much more convinient for communication. After all, it's how UBCO smashfests started, it's how I found CC. XD

So I'm really excited about getting Guilty Gear XX Accent Core+ (only going to call it GGAC+ from now on), and I want some people to play with. I checked on dustloop (smashboards equivalent for GG), and once again Okanagan is dead. I ain't gonna relinquish some of the Smash time we have, but who is wanting to start playing GG with me? All you need (in the very minimum) will be a ps2 controller, to start at least. I've already talked a bit to CC, he sounded interested.
Guilty Gear is a 2D fighter sorta simular to Street Fighter but it a completely different system. It takes a lot of technique and it's VERY fast, (I have an idea I'm pitching this to the wrong audience. D: ) so it makes it a very intense fighting game. A cast of about... 20-30 characters (ballpark guess), all very unique, especially ABA and Eddie, so there is a lot of diversity.
Anyone?

Yeah, I know I said I won't cut out any smash time, but on April 11th, I'm going to bring my PS2 and two controllers to play it. (That's when I get the game, unless there's a delay.)
James, what time do you want me to bus down for the tournament? I'll be bringing a TV. Do you want me to arrive 8:45 or earlier for more tournament prep time? If at 8:45, PLEASE be there at 8:45. I don't wnat to have to wait around and be carrying a TV too as well as my smash stufffz.
In total to MOST3, I'll be bringing my GC+Melee, 64+SSB+4 controllers, and a TV. I can bring a second GC if needed, but I'd prefer to only have to bring one.

Guilty Gear is on the PS2 lol. I could bring Capcom Vs SNK 2 for some 2D fighter warmup, but I think GG is simular to smash more than it is to the SF or KoF style. idk. I don't see much talk of QCFs or HCBs and that jazz. More like just 5H or 2S or IMPOSSIBLE DUST *****. It's gonna be awesome.
But yeah, seriously. Since Van isn't going, it'll be like a smashfest + lots more tvs + all night - security and sadly - the cafeteria. But james will provide catering. Maybe.
Spread the ****ing word too, you hos. I may bring a friend or two up. MAYBE. Idk. They probably would lose to Tycho or Mackey in melee. Except one of them. The other is a Samus main. He's going to clearly get *****.

So Dotz, me and Cake were playing today and I 3 stocked him taking only 68% with Falco.
Only shot about 5 lasers (for comboing and set ups) didn't chaingrab at all (dthrow once only, into dashattacks etc) he didn't SD or anything. It was almost all aerials, reading his attacks and punishing, one spike to gimp him (it was like 3 spikes before he finally died), one fsmash and a combo into Bair KO.
That's when you know you play an offensive Falco. I didn't save the replay but I could've, you should've seen it. Probably would've been helpfull to understand his air game. Cake played really well that match too, patient and spaced properly, I just played perfectly offensively. Sorry I couldn't show you that, it would've made you proud and better. You'll get it eventually though. :\
Also with Cake, in our Ness dittos, I discovered something ****ing crazy with Ness by accident and created a 0-death combo. 100% GARUANTEED IF THE FIRST HIT IS LANDED. We were practicing it and I got him a few times, then he got me 0-death. HE killed ME 0-death with it!!?!?! You can't escape it, it's ****ed up! Watch out when you play him this weekend lol. Or me for that matter, I'll be using Ness too XD
