For TC8, I kind of don't want to be in it, but kind of do. Like, I'd want to be in it for the money, but I want to see all of you guys play and get some winnings too. So I don't want to be in it JUST for the money.

How about with 4 tvs (or 3), we have all for tourney but 1 for me to train people during the breaks. Then, whoever wins the tourney has a best of 27 MM against me going through Blue Bunch and every match they win, they get a dollar of the winnings.

It's like, whoever wins the tourney gets to have a massive training session/a chance to win money instead of "Dynamism gets 1st, all the money, 2nd gets a couple bucks" And 2nd place gets the same thing for 9 matches/dollars. Cause if I just enter the tourney, I'll just steal everyone's money, this way it'll spread out a little + good practice (for everyone even in tourney cause they won't have to get auto lossed against me and they can get training with me between their matches the whole time)

And Blue Bunch is garaunteeing you a bit of money considering I haven't practiced them much at all and it consists of **** characters. I think this is the most efficient way to get people better, make it fun for everyone and make it most epic.

Sure, except if it was me facing off against you 27 times, I can see myself getting less money than if I just take the percentage that 2nd place gets from getting 2nd place.

Why not just make it so that if James wins, he puts half his winnings into the pot for the next Cheap tourney. That way, whoever eventually lucks out and beats him gets a boatload of cash, extra motivation.

Plus, to be fair, Im pretty sure the feather *** is getting 2nd anyway, and will auto-lose just about everyone anyway.

Besides, in that winner's bracket match I was like 1 hard hit away from a 2-0 win, So I have hope.

I think it's healthy for the lot of us to play james in a tournament setting, because there are gonna other good players coming down for MOST3.

Hey, don't be rude. I think it's a pretty reasonable thing to ask for. All I ask is that we have a bit more of it, or SSB too as well if others want that as well, per week. A TV dedicated to those two games, if you will, for each smashfest, since I think I heard something about a 4th TV in someone's post earlier.

Who good is coming to MOST3? As far as I know, it's no one, since people are pretty sure it was cancelled. Go and hype the thread more, maybe we can get some people mout of the okanagan. Chances are we won't though.

I don't like the idea. If he decides to enter, chances are it's for the money, and making him give away his earnings just because he beats us on a regular basis is not really fair.

What Im basically saying is if he doesnt enter, right now he will be giving Max the money instead. We are getting better, but he is still a level above us, and he uses a character that DK, Ike, and Fox all have troubles against.

The only problem Max has is killing on land. He has his grab game, and is a better off-stage player than anyone at UBCO. He is at the top for a reason.

Meh, practicing an offensive game helps us, because once you go on the offensive you can be punished more easily, particularily by Marth or Fox.

Zyfe --- I'll help you CP next time you play me. It's different every time cause I use everyone, so I'm not the best person to CP anything special against anyway. BF is good if you like it. Always pick a stage that's (1) Best for your character (2) Worst for your opponents character (3) Best for you personally (4) Worst for your opponent personally.

Lib --- I'll play more melee with you sure. Kaelen was up for the whole day last time so maybe it'll happen again. I want to play more with you next time too. Not during this tourney though. The following week we can melee it up. After all, it'll be the last one before MOST3. Roby, Adam and Daltsy are all thinking about it too. Better show them up.

Dotz --- You have a system and you stick to it, it's predictable but it's good enough to win. The problem you have is the actual brawling. Outside the camp game, you have trouble. That's why Jumblez does the best against the best players but has trouble with weak players where your system will beat weak players then get beat by the better players.


I'll enter the tourney, and keep my winnings. As long as you seed me against a bunch of noobs so I don't have to make it unfair for someone with a chance of winning and I can make it quick to teach people between matches. I want to make an army and therefore I must dedicate my time to making people better instead of making them lose. You won't learn if you just get continuously 4 stocked by Blunted_Object10 in melee every match. You have to improve gradually, against people near your level and slightly better. Like me, when I'm pointing out things, getting you to break specific habbits and showing you match ups. Not CPing stage + character and running away and being gay all match with 0-60 auto combos and lame gimps like G&W/Marth vs Cake, Kirby/ICs vs D0tz, DDD/Luigi vs Lib, Wario/DK vs CC, MK vs everyone. Gayness.

Well, we're randomizing TC8, so odds are you'll force me and Zyfe into a 1-2 or 0-2 record by having to play you, then each other. XD

I don't think there's anything wrong with CPing a character, and hell, I play Fox and Ike, both have brutal matchups. That's it, guys, I'm gonna main ROB now. ROB! ROB!

I'm pretty sure I can take on Roby now pretty solidly. Fox is my *****. Falco and Falcon **** me so hard still though. I know why too, now, so it's only a matter of time, but I need to fight your Falcon more, James. btw, I only got 1 stocked by Chexr's Fox and either got 1 stocked or 1 stocked Fluxwolf's. Best matchup for me atm I think, on Pokemon stadium, oddly enough lololol.

I NEED to fight more Marths and Falcons though. ): Falcos too, BUT OKANAGAN DOESN'T HAVE ANY!

Edit: A PRC player is thinking about coming to UBCO sometime. He actually wants to play smash competitively instead of just be good from playing lots with no real concept of how to improve. Might come to this Saturday's smashfest

Who is getting me to UBCO on Sat? I'm more than likely getting to my dad's work (Turner's Audi & Volkswagen on Harvey) when he commutes. Not bringing the tripod or extra controllers unless on special request, special request only available for extra controllers. Only bringing GC + Melee. IS this going to be TC8 or whatever?

Roby's just a fox that is a little extra flashy. I'm quite sure that's my best matchup now anyway lol. On Foxy's best stage, no less.


But UUUGH! Falco! It's his lasers, I swear. ): Can't manuever worth **** with those. And Falcon. idk what is up with him. He's just a beast. Plus randall hates me. Against Sask's best player, he was trying to dair me from the ledge, and just before I get up from the ledge, randall comes around, he spikes me upward as I mount randall, and then gets a knee on me. wtfff. sheik sucks. Marth's just a ******. Samus can't do anything against his priority there. :/
