As for my highlight. My first month and a half of playing around with Brawl with a friend and then being in a campus hosted tournament with 100+ people. Made it to the finals and the final 16 as the only Jigglypuff player who joined.

That and resting off screen just as a Captain Falcon kneed me, killing him for his final stock.

Edit: Also, hi Aqua. ^_^

If you main fox, Jigglypuff doesn't really cover your bad matchups well. She's great for low tiers though.
Not going for that, I play Snake as well but I really don't care I just play for fun now-a-days, Tournys are overrated. Anyways, I used to main Jiggs and I have always loved her and wanted to pick up a character that is underused, so here I am.

Hello everyone. x]

Oh hey Aqua, I think I played your puff once like a million years ago. You didn't seem like you had the feel for her at that point.

Play with your characters against other Jigglypuffs and you should learn how they move and mimic it. Also look for common Jigglypuff habits like air camping, planking, and generic f-air and b-air approaches. These are your basic attack options.

Truthfully, Jigglypuff is pretty **** fun dispite her placement and matchups. She does in fact have an overwhelming advantage on a select few characters if you play with her right. (By right, I mean camp the s*** out of them and make them wish Jigglypuff had never been put in the game.)

I don't think I've ever camped outside of counter-camping someone who refused to approach.

Camping blows.

I don't camp to win; I camp due to finding it thoroughly enjoyable. The feeling of bomb camping/planking the ledge for thirty seconds as TL and then killing/stage spiking the opponent for having the audacity to approach me is breathtaking.

I find it is punished often and is better used as a prediction move.

It's got a long hitbox but it's smaller than I'd like and I tend to fall into the foes' attacks after ward :x

You getting hit because of when you choose to use pound sounds more like a personal problem. I think pound is a great mindgaming tool. It's a complete change in momentum and it has a good amount of priority and can often be followed up by a grab or rising nair.

I like pound.

I like it too, but I'm punished for it too much lol

I love the satisfying sound it makes when it connects.

I realized once I started playing wifi that almost all of jigglypuff's match-ups are based on wifi experience. Playing against MK online isn't too bad (it's still bad) but playing against G&W becomes grueling...

Woody you show those Tier Whores who's boss!

Pound is a terrible approach and is pretty dangerous if the opponent can you know... attack OoS. Not enough range really, the move should be used pretty much for outprioritizing an approaching opponent, recovering, and punishing. Pound just has too much end lag to be an approach.

Noob you better **** at low tier tournies

Lawl, people are over thinking this.

Jigglypuff has 5 jumps. Just get close to them and hit them. You can get high enough that nobody can hit you with a projectile, and dair has good range.
