Well, I got in contact with my source again. I didn't get much, but what I did get is that Captain Olimar is indeed playable and will be an unlockable character. Also, this mysterious screenshot feature that was blurred out in today's update has to do with the new voting channel features Nintendo announced at the Japan conference. And lastly, Nintendo is considering a demo release this year, though the details and if it will actually happen are unknown.

Seriously, how much of a stretch was it to predict Sonic at the conference and the game playable at E for All?

Consider the fact that, for the past three or four conferences (some of which were complete hoaxes), 90% of SWF was predicting "Sonic tonight!". Yeah. It wasn't that gigantic a leap of faith.

I'll say it again, I called the Ice Climbers down to the exact day almost a week in advance. Try predicting something a little less likely than Sonic on a conference day, and you might gain a little credibility.

(Not saying that I'm any more credible. The Ice Climbers was just a good, solid, logical and well-thought out guess that I nailed right on. I don't have a mysterious source or anything. Though maybe I should try faking it since 3/4ths of SWF would probably fall for it and I could have some fun.)

I think they might release some gameplay videos as a Wii downloadable(like with Metroid Prime 3), or bundle up the demo with a preorder/early release of another game(like Mario Galaxy).

The characters seem a bit iffy. I bet they'll probably use the same demo at the conference at E 4 All.

That means nothing. He will be removed from the background when you play as him. And besides, in Smash Bros, you can have 4 Mario's or 4 Link's fighting each other. Does that make sense? No, but it can happen.

Something tells me that Snake and Sonic are Unlockable Characters.

Why do you people continue to ignore fact?

Sakurai flat-out said that he knows that, upon the release of the game, all unlockables will be pretty much instantly revealed by the internet, and that at some point he will reveal them himself.

Is it so hard to believe that some of what we've seen so far could be unlockables?

Not to mention the fact that third party characters were confirmed as unlockables...

I really don't believe you at all. Especially because NyaseNya already said that Captain Olimar would be playable, and you probably just copied what he said. You did the same thing with Sonic: Copied NyaseNya's info and added something else to make it seem like you knew more. If you want people to believe you, give us some new info that NyaseNya hasn't already said. Predict at least 3 of next week's updates correctly and I'll believe you. And I can tell you myself that Nook won't be playable. My uncle's sister's 10th grade teacher's dog works at Nintendo.

You didn't predict that. Nya did, and yoyu just said it after she did, so it would look like you had info too. I want to believe it, but I need some proof. Tell us what Monday's Dojo update is.

My friend works at Nintendo, Microsoft, and Bungie told me Master Chief would be in Brawl and that the game would be in a FPS format.

He also told me that Mario would be in Brawl long before it was confirmed.

I strongly dissagree with Tom Nook being in Brawl.

These are lies.

Tom Nook will have a chance of being a "fit" character, but seeing as how many people actually want
him in is lowering the score. I mean, a stage is enough for me. Add an Assist Trophy and an Item, well, that's fine too. Now stop. Give the Mario world a new character, or even another Zelda character!

My reason for Tom Nook not being in it is because everyone knows he's in the background audience of Smashville, the Animal Crossing Stage. Well, maybe he CAN appear in the game, and the character from the stage being removed, but that'd be ridicoulous. Everyone knows that would be the most stupid thing to do ever, since Sakurai probably put Tom Nook there for the purpose of letting everyone know he's not a character.

Also, I think that if Nook was a PC he'd have better graphics like real furr and stuff. This is just.. The GameCube model.

There have been dozens, maybe even hundreds, of "insiders" on this board. Statistically, it would only be logical for someone to be so lucky as to get most of their predictions correct. So until you predict something absolutely amazing or obscure no one would know about, there's no way we should believe you. An example of something amazing wouldn't be downloadable, playable demos. Predicting the pokemon trainer exactly as he is would have been amazing. Predicting soming obscure would include something like the cracker launcher (lol).

1)Tom Nook will not be playable. He's in the background. If he was playable, why put him in the background in the first place?
2)Notice also, Sakurai has given ZERO clues as to new characters. Do you remember any clues leading up to Ike, PT, Diddy, or even Sonic's revealing? No, there were none. Why give clues toward the inclusion of an AC character? If anything, all this AC stuff means there won't be a character at all.
3)Smashville is the most detailed stage so far, why? Because it is the AC rep. A stage suits AC more than a character. Also, nearly every AC character appears in the background.
