Anyone could've guessed that Sonic would be in it considdering the fact that they held polls when the game was first announced and almost every Japan fan voted for Soinc, so it is only due to Public Demand that he was put in.

He didn't know Sonic would be released, he copied someone name NyaNyase. Nya actually does appear to have a contact, and has also said Olimar will be playable. Nothing about anyone else though.

nothin against you man, but i find tom nook and capt. olimar hard to believe. maybe as ATs but not as playable characters, if it is true then shame on me but im havin trouble believin it now

Actually, look back. Nya didn't mention anything about Brawl being playable at E for All, only BlueWave did. No one would be able to predict that, Nintendo is NEVER at E for All most of the time.
I skimmed through this thread, so forgive me if I missed something.
Sonic on Wednesday would have been a very logical guess. I actually made the same guess myself.
Also, I don't believe that Captain Olimar would be an unlockable character, either. He's too important to not be a starter.

Ok BlueWave. Predict the next newcomer and the date he/she will be announced, and I'm pretty sure we will all believe you.
This E for All is the FIRST E for All event. What do you mean Nintendo would have never been there? Of course they have never been there, since it's a new event. Also, it's been known for a while that Nintendo was going to be at E for all. Plus, it was the perfect time for Nintendo to have a playable demo.

I'm not going to say that i believe him or i don't believe him, being over confident about a speculation could lead to you looking stupid, and if your speculation was right then most people would just think you had a lucky guess (this thread is a perfect example of that).

Just wait till the Dojo updates are made and be patient. It'll save you alot of hassle and stress.

Nintendo actually said they'd be going to E for All in March of 2007. He could have just read it from this link:

I'd believe Olimar before Nook. Pikmin was a hit, just like all the other one-time hitters. So why would Olimar be different than Lucas per say?

I'm not trying to desperately find out the Dojo updates, I'm trying to prove this guy as fake so he can be banned.
Yeahh.. exactly.. That's what I think too. Ok, I know absolutely nothing about animal crossing; to me, that game seems REAALLLY gay. But it seems to me that the idea of this stage (as others have also suggested) is to allow all of those Animal Crossing characters to be shown in a manner that they are there to watch the event of the smash game. If the raccoon thing was a playable character, and not featured in the background, it would be as if all his buddies are there cheering him on- that would be pretty neat idea (Well I think so..)
But since he IS in the background.. Idunno. I honestly just think that if they were gonna put him in the game, they wouldn't have left him in the background with all of his.. umm... subjugates..? (Sorry, idunno much about the Animal Crossing town hierarchy system. And all this stuff with you guys here just makes me laugh. he hee ^_^ )
OH YEAH- and to BlueWave (I think?): I, like most others here, would absolutely love to believe you, but I'm not whole hearted on it. I really think that one of the first questions that someone with access like you would ask la sourcee would regard the total number of characters, et qui est-ce que le final third party character. Seriously..
If you could like.. do that.. And then also be accurate with a few days of updates (or something on that level of credibility-earning), you wouldn't have to worry 'bout no more "nonbelievers".

Hmm, people with 'sources' are always a bit of a sticky debate... sources always need to be extremely vague about themselves and sometimes their information because what they are doing is for from legal, you know. Sources can't just reveal every single bit of the game, mostly due to the amount of access they might have in the project, also they might not want to spoil the whole game completely... besides, there's also the fact everyone is REALLY dismissive of sources with extreme information, as this topic proves.
The basic point is, unless I see something outright wrong with what Bluewave and Nya are saying, I'll trust them enough to defend them like this... it's not like Olimar and Tom Nook are characters I'm insanely desperate to have anyway, so I can't say I'll be utterly devastated if this is all an elaborate hoax! I'd be somewhat impressed if it was one, actually...

But he did, admittedly, say that Brawl would be playable there before it was announced, something Nya didn't say at all.
But you guys are right about E for All, I got confused, forgot that it was the first one.
I'm not saying he's completely legit, really, but I am going to defend him against a bunch of people saying his completely false while avoiding the facts that he did predict Brawl's demo inclusion at E for All. That does give him a lot of merit, and he has a good chance of telling the truth. We'll just have to honestly wait and see.

He's not telling the truth Luke. Nya said Sonic would be announced. Bluewave creates an account that same day and claims the same thing. Nya says Olimar will be playable. Bluewave says the same thing. I don't remember if he did say it would be playable, but that's was an easy guess. I thought the same thing.
The simple fact that he made an account and chose to do it right after someone else said something basically proves he was lying. I'm gonna look through the Sonic thread and try to get proof.

not true, no way. guessing theyl reveal sonic at a conference and having a playable demo at the next big convention is easy. however, if he predicted the delay (wouldnt his contact inform him of that instead, thats huge news) i would start to believe you.
even if u werent just lucky, you just ruined it by saying tom nook is a starter. as much as i dont think tom nook will be playable, theres a small chance he is (15-20%) IMO, but theres no way hed be a starter. if you watch the trailers, youl see times when they fought on battlefield and snakes box was in the background, meaning he wasn't released yet. then after they showed him, the box wasnt there. so it should be the same for the game (box in the bkrd b4 u unlock him).
we know tom nook is in the bkrd for smashville, so its possible that he would chill there till hes unlocked, but if u have him from the beginning, he should never be there.

I believe this guy. I find it sad to see how most are relentlessly bashing him when his two predictions have been correct. He's proven enough in my book.

Its pretty obvious that there would be a demo, I mean Nintendo said they would have hands on demo of Brawl (said it at the end of spetember issue) put 2 and 2 together and make that there will be a new demo
As for Sonic, people have been guessing him from the begging of time, so nothing new there
Don't get me wrong, I would love your predictions (except I would prefer a video section) but you have no evidence.
What's the point of making predictions/having insider info with clear evidence at hand? That would just be stating facts that EVERYONE knows.
Besides, these guys called the exact date several days before it happened, not the night before.
Although..I must admit, a big part of me wants his predictions to be true, so that could also be affecting my willingness to believe him..but oh well..we'll find out sooner or later if they're true or not.

Yeah what he says is true. He said that Sonic was gonna be revealed on the Wednesday of the Press Conference almost a week before it actually happened. I think this guy might actually have inside info.
