I really belived you when you said sonic would come out on wensday but nook is in the background of smashville he cant be in it (no offence to nook fans) that is the only thing that makes me disbelive

yeah I guess i dont mind if he is in or not but dont you have to play as fox to do the trick where he talks to the others he could be talking during the battle like snake could do and I never seen captain falcon in mute city or big blue just his car.

I really just hope Tom Nook and Olimar aren't in....
I can't understand the logic behind NOT wanting a character end. It wouldn't hurt you, and I doubt you could think up better characters.
As low as his chances are at this point, Nook isnt deconfirmed until we see a Assist Trophy of him or he's somehow a Boss XD
The background theory just lowered his chances, thats it =O I mean look at Lylat Cruise, arent there 4 Arwings flying around in the background? And the Great Fox o_o The not really the same concept but you know what I mean

Tom Nook appears in Smashville, so why would he be playable?
I mean, Olimar as a roster-character does indeed make sense because he's the main character of the only major new Nintendo franchise in the last several years. Other than that, I'm really just not convinced, especially with the part about the demo.
The blurred-out part having to do with Everybody Votes seems the most likely of them all, however.

Nah, I'd rather see Megaman (or a similar update) happen around early December, when Smash was originally supposed to come out. Now with that delay, they have to really space out the megaton announcements strategically.

Just because Megaman has blasters, and Samus has blasters, doesn't mean that they can be clones.

Snake was already believed to be playable, Sonic was the most requested.

Nah, not really. Megaman is a legendary character, along with Sonic, Mario and Snake. Who would you have intstead of Megaman?
Ok, more info for all of you. As you know, the starting roster is Mario, Bowser, Peach, Wario, Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Link, Zelda/Sheik, Kirby, Meta Knight, Pikachu, Pokemon Trainer, Samus, Fox, Pit, Yoshi, Ike, Ice Climbers, Lucas, Captain Falcon, and Tom Nook. Well, I'm going to look like a complete *** now, but I have to say it, my source was wrong. He/she misinterpreted something and believed Tom Nook to be in Brawl instead, but has since gotten more concrete information for me and now tells me he/she was wrong in saying that Tom Nook is in Animal Crossing. The Animal Crossing representative will be the AC Human, and will be called Animal Crosser.
Yes, I look like a complete fool now and my source apologized to me for this screw up, but he/she said that they will not tell me anything else if they are not 100% sure on it. So, the starting roster is what I said before, but replace Tom Nook with Animal Crosser. My source gave me a 100% confirmation on Captain Olimar being in the game as an unlockable and on the screenshot feature mentioned earlier. I also have some new information for you as well.
Returning from Melee are Jigglypuff and Marth. What about the others, like Dr. Mario and Roy? I don't have confirmation on their status yet, but Jigglypuff and Marth are definitely back. Also, King Dedede is a newcomer to Brawl. My source said he/she is 100% sure of this. And lastly, the third and final third party character in the game is Mega Man. Mega Man will be revealed by the end of November, but as for specific, I cannot say. My source seemed to know more, but he/she wouldn't say because they wanted to be 100% sure to avoid screw ups like with Tom Nook.
