The information that the TC has presented today is fairly vague. Olimar is almost a shoe in coming from a best selling GC game as well as orginating from a completely orginal franchise. I really don't know how people can out-right disregard Olimar's inclusion because it's obvious that he has a great chance of appearing.

As for Tom Nook, I'm fairly certain that AC will get a playable representative, but Tom Nook doesn't come first in my mind as a playable character. Though when I think about it, the AC humans are very similar to the Mii's; thinking this Sakurai could have opt'd for another character to represent the AC franchise, so he could have look towards Tom Nook.

The TC's information looks like it could be educated guess work that anyone could do by looking up background information of gaming franchises.

I'm sorry but you would have to be the most ignorant person in the world to use Olimar "size" as an argument against his inclusion, by that notion Kirby should be the smallest person in the game, not tell me is Kirby the smallest person in the game?

Every single character appearing the the Smash Brothers series has beeen resized. Look at my previous post where I mentioned Olimar.

And any resizing that's been done has been with reasonalbity.

Take Bowser and Kirby. Bowser has been many sizes in various games. They made him smaller than normal but still bigger than all the characters.

Kirby while small isn't too small to be honest. So they gave him some extra inches here and there.

Olimar, in speaking is exactly an inch tall. So don't you tell me that he can be resized when the fact is that he's no bigger than the Franklin Badge.

Agreed. That, and one has to reconcile Tom Nook's situation with Tezuka saying that the generic AC character will be in the game. I doubt there will be both; I think one of them is wrong. If this is just copypasta from this Nya fellow, then can we plz have links to where exactly he predicted--unambiguously, not like PuroresuGrande--the Sonic update and subsequent delay ****storm?

Oh, and what does predicting Brawl being playable at E for All prove exactly? There are only two options, playable or not. Predicting when there will be a certain reveal is far more convincing.

For those that don't know, I have a source within Nintendo who revealed that Sonic would be revealed at the conference and that Brawl would be playable at E for All, both of which turned out to be true. I also revealed the starting roster, which is Mario, Bowser, Peach, Wario, Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Link, Zelda/Sheik, Kirby, Meta Knight, Pikachu, Pokemon Trainer, Samus, Fox, Pit, Yoshi, Ike, Ice Climbers, Lucas, Captain Falcon, and Tom Nook.

Well, I got in contact with my source again. I didn't get much, but what I did get is that Captain Olimar is indeed playable and will be an unlockable character. Also, this mysterious screenshot feature that was blurred out in today's update has to do with the new voting channel features Nintendo announced at the Japan conference. And lastly, Nintendo is considering a demo release this year, though the details and if it will actually happen are unknown.

Did we not already see the demo character select screen? Are they going to release a newer demo with that many new characters in it? It really hinges upon Tom Nook. That is such an outrageous guess. If he is in, I'll listen to more what you have to say. Otherwise, I will be forced to bust out the GTFO sign...

If someone mentioned that a Poke'mon Trainer that uses 3 different Poke'mon in battle and doensnt fight directly was gonig to be in Brawl months back it would have sounded completely ridiculous.

Anything is possible really. I'm not trying to say he's telling the truth but I won't be surprised.

It's probably been said, but the Pokémon Trainer wasn't shown as a non-playable in the background of a single stage.
