How many people wanted to main MK?

How many of you guys wanted to main MK before Brawl even came out? How many people have always dreamed of MK being in Brawl ever since SSB64 or Melee? How many of you guys have stuck to that dream even with this whole MK fiasco?


I personally have always wanted MK in Brawl ever since SSB64, and with the release of Melee, I was annoyed that he still wasn't in the game. Since Melee, I've been honestly hoping for the entirety of its lifespan that MK would end up in the next Super Smash Bros. game. I was ecstatic when I saw on the Dojo that MK would be in Brawl, and hoped that he would be good, and was almost sure that I would be maining him. Unfortunately, I got more than I bargained for, and now my problem is that he doesn't fit my playing style, and that he's considered a bit TOO good.

How many of you have this problem?

Exactly how it was for me. He fits my play style very well, however.

me too... mk is sooo cool xD

but he perfectly fits in my gameplay... in melee i played jigglypuff all the time... meta knight is a bit like jigglypuff (because he has lots of small jumps and his attacks have no delay)...

but i am a bit sad, that mk is so overpowered... with meta knight a victory against any other character is not a real victory i think


i really hope that the tear list of in 5 years has mk not on its first place ^^ (or banned :/)

MK is the most fun character to play as in Brawl, if you're good at smash you can use anyone, suiting styles is mostly bull**** I think.

I agree, MK is fun.

Although there are some characters I either can't play all that well or simply don't enjoy enough to learn.

Well, I never considered him being in a Smash Bros., but when I saw him in the first trailer, I was so excited, and I knew that he would be the first character I wanted to play as, and main. His current dominance is now making me kind of regret maining him though...

id personally use anyone whos good. im lucky MK is really fun for me to use. why do people not have fun with him. not only do you win, hes a fast char who can fly , gay fast attacks, and awsome everything.

I wanted him to be in smash since melee when i got its trophy i thoght it would be really cool, and i started using him since brawl came out and i find him fun to play as till people start jhoning... but hes never been my main...

I liked MK since the OLD Kirby games. So much mystery, very intriguing. I like fast characters in my fighting games anyway so he was perfect. They need to get it over with and give him his own game. There is so much material to work with and they can reveal some of his story. It could be epic.

Meta Knight has always been my favourite Nintendo character ever since I first saw him in Kirby Super Star (first Kirby game for me). I've wanted for him to be in a Smash Bros. since SSB64. So when I found out that he was in brawl I was happy that I would finally be able to play as Meta Knight. He was the first character that I played in brawl when I got it and I've been using him ever since.

It's unfortunate that people are wanting to ban him. =[

Been a fan of the lil guy since kirby superstar, when i saw smash bros and sakurai's name on it, i was hoping to see him alongside kirby...but no...we got pikachu...lol

On a side note, i bought KSSU because you get to play MK, worth the 20 bucks for his scenario alone.

I wanted him in Smash for a long time, and now I got my wish in Brawl. Too bad he's dangerously close to getting banned sooner or later.
