Ya This game came out in 2001 and after 8 years its still a great game.
I doubt this game will ever stop being played. I go to my friends house and I still to this day want to play it

What is this "Melee getting old" do you speak of?

Spoiler: Melee does not get old. People just take breaks for lengths of time before going back to Melee! :D

I remember I played melee for like 3 hours daily on versus mode..
Now I only play brawl for like an hour cause I get tired of playing,, Melee was less boring than brawl..
I don't know why.. But it's true..

Hmm... I would say, until it breaks and you can't find it anymore in stores :p

It's a great game, it's not old for me yet..
but the N64 game is..
I play the original occasionally
Melee sometimes
Brawl a lot more

Melee is still very fun- either when I do tournaments- play with friends- or just try out some glitches and whatnot- even regular melees are still very fun

Brawl is still fun mostly because it is pretty new, and all areas are timeless at the moment.

Its hard to question the prescence of infinity, infinity itself is more of a term than a number, making it theoretically impossible to multiply, divide, or take any other action involving this "term"

Melee doesn't get old. There is always room for more improvement. The slightest change in game play makes the game 150X different.

Brawl gets old in 5 hours.

Hey kids, multiplying infinity by itself results in an indeterminate answer :)

Then why do you play it? Why don't you sell.
That is the plan for most Melee players.

And to the OP, 12 hours. I gotta take at least a 10 minute break before I enter another 12 hour period.

I'm not gonna sell Melee :) Just because I know one day a looong time from now I will miss the Kirby 64 stage (already do) way too much to bare any longer, and I'll put in melee just to beat Dr. Mario and Pichu as Mewtwo

point is, don't sell melee! You'll miss it!!!!

edit: Melee started getting old for me when Brawl came closer to release--it raised my expectations a lot and I didn't want melee any more I wanted Brawl!

Melee takes 25 hours in a single day to get old. Thankfully for us there are only 24!

I also scanned Melee's replay value with my scouter, and before I could take off my scouter, break it, and scream "IT'S OVER 9,000!!!" it broke in fear of going over infinity x infinity + infinity infinity times to the infinite power. That's how much replay this game has.

Now stop reading this, go use some mind games, don't get hit, and go f***ing play some Melee SON!!!
