My Wii just broke. The light won't light up on the front of the Wii. There was a small power surge at my house from the storm, and I didn't realize it was broken until I tried it a few minutes ago. Everyone I've talked to so far think it could be the power cord, not the Wii. Anyone else have an idea?

If I had to buy a new Wii, I think I might just die. :/

I'm pretty sure I know how to fix your problem.

Just try resetting your power adapter. To do this just unplug everything from your Wii and then unplug your power adapter from the wall and let it sit like that for a minute. Then plug everything back in.


You should see the red light go on.

the reason i'm selling my wii for so much is cause, not only does it have HBC (which is simple to get), it also has a wiikey modchip, which means yay free games, and you get the 10-15 games i got thanks to wiikey with it, i know the modchip cost 30-50$, so yea and plus its really hard to install and rare (fakes everywhere). so yea i might not sell my wii cause of that.
