For Sonic games, Sonic Adventure 2 wasn't bad, but it wasn't awesome either. Sonic 3 and Knuckles is one of the best games I've ever played, though.

As for the new Zelda, I'm not going to completely write it off yet. Remember how pissed some people were at Cel-shaded Link? Wind Waker wasn't bad at all, and some people (Jerm I'm looking at you) really really liked it. I'm going to trust that Nintendo will make a good game. I'm sure hoping.

I played a spot of Melee today, always a blast.

My words exactly on the Zelda part.

The Prime series did really well. Retro kinda ****ed up Corruption, but I beat it a few times. Worth the money at least. Metroid Other M will be amazing!

Lol, but yea, the dude who is making the Zelda games said he won't stop until he surpasses Ocarina of Time, meaning we need to wait another 100 years for that game, or this next Zelda probably won't come out for another 2 years.

Adventure of Link wasn't horrible, it was just very different from any other Zelda game. If it had a different name and different characters, would you still find it horrible? Control was actually good in the side scrolling parts, and felt *kinda* similar to that of Castlevania. They weren't bad on telling you really where to go, a few secrets, sure, but what games didn't have things like that? And it was quite challenging, but once again, so were a bunch of other NES games.

It wasn't bad. Did you give it a chance? Or just take a look at it and go "lolno"

I actually own the game, I like the first Zelda game better, I just bought it yesterday too.

Adventure of Link is actually the only NES/SNES Zelda I have. I didn't care for it. IDK if it's a horrible, so I should backtrack on that, but I have had it for years and it didn't appeal to me. But I didn't like it, Ocarina of Time will almost never be touched. That's the honest to god truth.

EDIT: Xyro wtf? really? what didn't you like about it?

@heytallman : sonic 2 adventure was pretty good and I liked sonic and knuckles back in the day. Did anyone ever play sonic cd? That was probably imo one of the best sonic games but it never got a lot of play since sega cd never gained much popularity

My Wii just broke. The light won't light up on the front of the Wii. There was a small power surge at my house from the storm, and I didn't realize it was broken until I tried it a few minutes ago. Everyone I've talked to so far think it could be the power cord, not the Wii. Anyone else have an idea?

If I had to buy a new Wii, I think I might just die. :/

ALL Final Fantasy games were horrible imo, besides the Tactics one, which I really enjoyed. :D

Lol I haven't even said anything in a while then I saw people were talking about sonic and zelda games, I just joined in. If everyone was talking about brawl or melee or something then I would talk about that. Trust me I don't want to start some new topic anymore. I'm just going along with what's being talked about.

BTW, is there anybody who can teach me proper DI? My DI skill isn't all that, and I don't think I am doing it right, I just do smash DI 24/7 and I checked RT's vid, it doen help me.

Okay after thinking about this alot...and i mean ALOT. Razer, im gonna still team with Dphat. Firstly, he asked me first, well a pretty long time ago. DMG wont be making it so me bailing on him wouldnt really be fair at all.

Second, we have lots of time to practice before Pound 4.

Third, i dont like being a flake.


So basically we still are teaming Dphat. Sorry little mexico. It was a hard decision, but personally i really want to see how i do in teams with him. We had great chemistry in low tier teams, and i want to see how it goes.

If you have Homebrew, which, considering the epic theme song, shouldn't be a problem, you can put on a GameBoy Advance emulator and then download some gameboy roms to put on them. I'd recommend this for a GBA emu:

yea i just played thru METROID tonight and it got worse than last time. Im gonna try metroid 2 again
