Game and Watch gets countered hard by Snake, MK, and Marth. MK dominates, and there are a few Snakes, so things don't look too well for Game and Watch.

Also, doesn't DDD beat G&W as well?

False. A patient G&W has the matchup.

MK Snake and Marth appear to often in tournaments. And if you run into a good one, you're screwed. Amazing Diddy and Toon Links can also give G&W some trouble. Sure TL doesn't appear much, but Diddy does.

His bad matchups just appear far too often in tournaments, kinda like what happened with Peach in melee.
