If they can step up that defense then I think they will be in good shape this season.

Bad news, parents are not being cooperative with me going to a tournament with strangers from the internet. D:

And you go to school with strangers...and that can be hundreds of people.

Time to quit school.

I've tried those arguments, they failed :c

They have the idea that everyone on the internet is a predator. *facepalm*

If they're really unsure of it, you should have them come and stick around for a little bit to watch the place. Just curious, how old are you? I started going to tournaments when I barely turned 14, and I flew to NJ when I barely turned 15. I'm 18 now and there definitely ain't no predators at these tournaments lol. Ages range from 13-24 usually.

Let's see, he joined 2009
His bio states:
I'm 16...
That makes it between 16~19 in 2012.

If you can, be the next underage badass.
This kid , Megafox, showed up in SA one day 13yo and wrecked **** up.
He stuck around to be top 5.

Are you game enough? Otherwise yeah the smashfest idea is a better ice breaker.

Are you a bad enough dude to save the president?

Also, I was 17 when I went to play Smash with someone from the internet. And it was JEREMY FEIFER. Probably the most dangerous place one can go, especially one who has never went anywhere for Smash.

Only old gens know Jeremy Feifer.

I'm 16.

I asked if they wanted to come and watch but they're just subborn :c

I thought about sneaking out, but I don't have my own car D: and if I asked to borrow theirs I would have to give a good reason.

Yeah uhh smash isn't something worth sneaking out over. I've watched Allan meet with many a parent over the years to comfort their woes.

You can have Austin (sync) who's running the event to talk to your parents or yeah even try to invite someone over to your house to play.

Sync would be a very frightening NPC in a video game.

No point to sneak out, really. A good thing for you is that Houston still quite active, so you will have plenty of chances to make fests or tournaments.

Time to post some late night nonsense since Allan seems to be on hiatus.

In Earthbound, in Happy Happy Village, there is a house that you cannot enter, but a Mr. Saturn speaks to you from behind the door. After you beat the final boss, when Ness is walking around with Paula, you can now enter the house, and talk to the Mr. Saturn vis-a-vis. He drops some heavy wisdom on you. He says, "Hi, you."

White Mage, if your parents like, I can talk to them and ease any worries they may have. I've done it many times before, so I have no problem with it at all.

LOL ****ing Trela making that image.
