I only know Noseybonk through Charlie Brooker's screenwipe and I can say I approve of this inclusion as a result.

Gameplay
The gameplay would be closer to that of Marvel Super Heroes, but without the Infinity Stones; instead, the player would have the option to switch between 1v1 (best of 3) and 2v2.

Arcade Mode
Aracde Mode works differently depending on if your gameplay is set to 1v1 or 2v2

• 1v1: If you pick a character on the hero side, your opponents would consist entirely of characters on the villain side and vice versa.
• 2v2: The same as above, but only if your team solely consists of heroes or villains
• You also fight a different rival:
  • If you play as a hero, your sub-boss is Dr. Doom
  • If you play as a villain, your sub-boss is Captain America

There are a lot of crossover games and fan rosters focusing on Shōnen Jump but I wanted to make a fighting game focusing on Shōnen Jump+ (equivalent to Manga Plus in most other regions). The online magazine features not only shonen manga but also titles aimed at other demographics, which can result in a more varied set of characters. [Infinity Sorcerer]

I did a Marvel vs. Capcom roster before, but tbh that list was heavily outdated (it was a list I did like two years ago), now I want to do a more refinned, less big but more variate roster. Base roster would consisit of a total of 28 characters each side (making a total of 56 characters) with more or less 10 brand new additions in each side. This time I also want to bring some context of the decisions so warning of longass text.

CAPCOM SIDE​

• Ryu: No-brainer, there is nothing else to say, Ryu is Capcom's face when talking about fighting games so it's logic to have him here, I think it would be cool make more of his moves lightning enhanced like in the recent titles (and even why not make Denjin Hadouken a special move Hadouken that you charge). Or even bring back his Evil Ryu install from the first MvC.
• Chun-Li: Second no-brainer, if Ryu is Capcom's face in Fighting Games Chun-Li is Capcom's face in terms of female characters, no one is more iconic than her to the point that she even overshadows Ryu sometimes.
• Rashid: Fan favorite of the SF5 roster and it's well knowed to be one of the sadly cutted characters of MvCI so it's time to give him the chance he deserves, his vast aerial movement options makes him a perfect election in terms of new SF reps.
• Urien: Another fan favorite but this time of SF3 that it's probably the most loved game from the series (or well, at least the last installment Third Strike), just imagine the possibilities with the Aegis Reflector!
• Morrigan: One of those characters that its just a sin even think to cut them, I think Morrigan could have some cool revamps using the idea ofher ending in Vampire Savior where she fuses with Lilith, basically mix Lilith moveset with Morrigan's and make things like summon her in the Darkness Illussion super, I know it was more or less do before but I think this time it would be more notorious (also bring back Soul Eater please).
• Donovan: A very popular Darkstalker who has an interesing playstyle with stances. Like other Capcom characters his moves would be exaggerated to make them be on pair with the Marvel characters.
• Lord Raptor/Zabal: An even more popular character who for some reason never had a chance to be in any of these crossovers, he is just too damn cool to left behind.
• Jedah Dohma: Between the good things of MvCI was the addition of this dude, Jedah would come back mostly untouched only with proper reworked look and lesser nitpicks.
• X: Another one of the most liked additions to the MvCI roster, I think it should have some revampps in his movelist but I can't think in any particular nitpick right now.
• Zero: I never was a big fan of Zero but I aknolowdge how popular it is, I would like to have a Mega Man Zero skin this time tho, apart of a better Lvl 3.
• Dante: A main stand since his introduction in 3, this time being updated to his DMC5 appearence, I would personally love a mix of both since using Agni & Rudra, Nevan, Cavaliere, Faust and King Cerberus between others in one moveset would be soooo badass but I think the most possible option is just revamp him to use DMC5 weapons instead of DMC3 ones.
• Nero: If this was before DMC5 i definitively would ignore Nero even if his Devil Bringer was quite cool, but a moveset using the Devil Breakers would be outstanding. It's also quite the replacement of Nathan Spencer that I sadly required to cut.
• Monster Hunter: Another one of those W decisions of MvCI, maybe my only change would add more armors (including Male!Hunter) and try to include some things from World and Rise.
• Leon Kennedy: Is quite a surprise that of all Resident Evil characters Leon never appeared in one of these games, considering the huge popularity of both games where he is the protagonist.
• Albert Wesker: An infamous yet popular character in both Resident Evil and MvC series, I consider him a very cool dude and I mained him before so it's quite more of a bias pick.
• Strider Hiryu: People where very mad when he was cutted of base 3 so we shouldn't risk to do the same once again.
• Jin Saotome: One of the characters that comes back from the MVC2 grave, Jin moveset was reworked removing his charge character status to be a more traditional rushdown character but also adding more tokusatsu elements to his movelist (more cool poses and explosions!). And of course we can't forget his mech.
• Akira Kazama: Newcomer from the Rival Schools series, has a lot of fans and it was added in SFV, in fact some of his moves would take inspiration of his V-System abilities like the ability summon his brother Daigo has a special move rather than an assist (so using her basically makes you have three assists).
• Tessa: From Red Earth, overall the character with more quantity of playable appearences outside her original game and at the same time is the most easiest one to adapt to MvC.
• Arthur: This time Arthur makes some use of the features included in his most recent game Resurrection.
• Firebrand: It isn't a superpopular character but its liked for his big utility has an assist.
• Nina: Using a brand-new appearence with inspirations of each Nina in the series, Breath of Fire is sadly overlooked most of the time but maybe a character here would make them reconsider.
• Soki: A character from Onimusha, once again a series completely newcomer in this game, Soki was in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom so it wouldn't be too hard to imagine how he would end being.
• Sanada Yokimura: And we also have Sengoku Basara!, Sanada also has experience in fighting games in Sengoku Basara X,has an additional note, since UMVC3 the devs wanted to introduce once again a character that use a lance/longpole/staff so he also can cover this!
• Mike Haggar: Like Dante he became a fan favorite since his introduction in MvC3, it also compensate a little the Roster Global Warming.
• Asura: Considering by a lot of people (including me) the biggest sin of the future MvC rosters after the release of his game is ignore him, he just work too damn well.
• Gene: Gene could be less knowed than Asura but it also has his fans, and he does a lot of moves directly taken from other Capcom characters in his games so it would be very easy to traduce his playstyle.
• Phoenix Wright: The Ace Attorney comes back being a fan favorite, his peculiar gimmick is reworked to be more easy to access to use at the same time the Turnabout Mode is quite nerfed.

MARVEL SIDE​

1. Spider-Man: Probably the most well knowed character between all the Marvel characters, Spider-Man would have a little redo making him quite more appeal to recent incarnations not only in the MCU but also in games and comics with more gadgets.
2. Iron Man: Another superpopular character mainly for the movies, his moveset is now a mix of his old one with the MvCI additions and some additional details from modern games like Marvel Ultimate Alliance.
3. Captain America: The other pillar of Marvel, well knowed and popular and also one of the characters with the biggest amount of appearences in the series. Bucky would miss this time but he will still appear in his Lvl. 3 has a nod to Bucky's Level 3 when paired with Cap.
4. Thor: Even if in-game his popularity isn't the biggest outside he is very loved so having him would attract a lot of customers, I think a rework to his playstyle to make it more appeal would also be great.
5. Hulk: Another character who isn't just a fan favorite but it also works has one of the few big grapplers of the roster.
6. Hawkeye: He gained a big fanbase in the movies and his playstyle is very cool, you don't see actual bow and arrow users in fighting games (I actually only can remind Mina in Samurai Shodown and Archer in Unlimited Codes).
7. Dr. Strange: From the Marvel side is one of the most variate characters with loads of magic spells, and like a lot of these picks it has a big fanbase thanks to the MCU.
8. Black Panther: He is definitively one of the characters that gained a huge fanbase after the movies, T'Challa in general is a very badass character and since he doesn't need to be a function anymore we can rework his moveset to use all his potential.
9. Captain Marvel: Not a character that I personally like but it's undoubtly a fan favorite, and also a big deal for Marvel/Disney so yeah, let's include her too.
10. Wolverine: Wolverine its basically a way to tell people "please forgive us for MvCI, this time you guys will have more of what you wanted".
11. Gambit: In general, the Mutants represents the resurgence of the series, Gambit is a bias pick of mine since even if I sucked played with him I liked his moveset a lost, it would have some reworks with more moves and more easy to do inputs (most notably the removal of charged inputs).
12. Cyclops: Only one quote is required, "DREAMS DON'T DIE".
13. Deadpool: A big fan favorite, Deadpool is one of the greatest additions of MvC3 so having him once again here is a must, even if he can't do the same quantity of ****talk due age restriction he still has his charm.
14. Magik: Ngl this is a pick mostly influenced by Thorgi's MvC4 roster, even then its real that she is very badass and popular and her moveset would be fairly very interesing.
15. Scarlet Witch: It became a very famous character since her introduction in the UCM, her chaos magic abilities are very good and works has a great counterpart of Strange who is also a magic user.
16. The Vision: Maybe the devs where true and his moveset would be really broken, but it's very popular and broken or not his moveset has a lot of potential with the loads of abilities he has.
17. Star-Lord: Kinda a mix of MCU representation, bias pick, function of Nova and just general approval of the fanbase, Star-Lord has a lot of charm and in general he is very cool.
18. Rocket & Groot: Quite the most loved characters of the Guardians of the Galaxy crew. I think Rocket should regain quite more of his authonomy with his moveset of MvC3 but Groot definitively would stay.
19. Daredevil: The Man Without Fear is definitively a character that should appear in the future, his series has a lot of fans who still waits the continuation and in general since the renewal of the character by the hands of Frank Miller it became one of the most knowed vigilantes of the Marvel franchise.
20. Moon Knight: Something something Disney + series something, jk. Moon Knight has a lot of potential and even before the existence of the series a quite big amount of people wanted Moon Knight has a newcomer.
21. Ghost Rider: Defo a character that appeared to stay here. I mean who doesn't love a flaming skeleton in a motorcycle?
22. Howard the Duck: The joke of this time, his moveset would definitively be weird af but it would also be very funny.
23. Shuma-Gorath: Japaneses likes Shuma Gorath (hmmm I wonder why), and in general the devs likes the character, maybe Disney doesn't like it too much but at least now that they have plans with Strange there is no reason to not let them use him once again.
24. Dormammu: Again a very cool character from MvC3 (probably part of the reasons of the amount of MvC3 characters is that is my favorite MvC game, who knows).
25. Magneto: Another character who just screams "Sorry for MvCI", one of the most beloved characters from Mahvel that definitively needs to come back.
26. Dr. Doom: It's literally the same has Magneto, also FOOT DIVE!.
27. Loki: It gains a huge fanbase from the MCU and in general it could have a very cool moveset with illusions and in general being a jerkass troll that everyone inside wants to be.
28. Ultron: Another one of the based decisions from MvCI, Ultron is great, there is not too much to say.

Now of course we will have DLC characters, I decided to do 4 season packs (considering that SFV had 5 seasons) each one with 3 character for each side, in other words, 6 characters per season.

DLC SIDE​

• Sakura Kasugano: I think Sakura can be reworked in comparison to his (tbh) very weird moveset of MvC2, her Hadoukens could be directed depending of the strength of the button and also can be charged to the size of a Shinku Hadouken, her Shouoken would have a bigger distance and the Sakura Otoshi could work more like a Demon Flip like her V-Skill from SFV. Maybe also add things of Sunburned Sakura?
• Amaterasu: I think it would be a cool comeback, isn't the most played character but a lot of people agrees that it was a good inclusion.
• Edward Falcon: Another character very popular to be part of the game, a lot of people where dissapointed that in a game where magic stones are a core part of the gameplay a character from Power Stone wasn't there so it's time to make his great debut!
• Venom: Repeats his DLC status from the previous game sure, but at least this time would have some new add-ons, which ones?....idk but I always wanted to see Venom being more than a Unga Bunga Spider-Man with two unique things.
• Man-Thing: I think it would be rad, maybe it could look quite similar to Venom since big guys with morphic changes yet I think it's unique enough to have a spot.
• Iron Fist: A character that comes back from MvC3, I don't know I think it's a very cool character and always remember me to Fei Long.
• Vergil: The motivated man comes back and like Dante his moveset is revamped to suit his DMC5 appearence, unlike Dante however Vergil always has been a very straightforward character in terms of evolution rarely removing moves and rather just adding them so it could be easier.
• Fou-Lu: A "who?" pick but that I think it's very cool, considering that he not only has dragon abilities but it would also be accompanied of his servant Won-Qu.
• Bass.EXE: I wanted to add someone from the Battle Network series but at the same time I didn't wanted to include Mega Man orZero twice so I think Bass is a great option for this.
• Hela: Villains are always cool to see (and in fact, maybe this part of the season pass is the "villain/antagonist pass", I think she could have a very cool moveset with all the knife thing and magic.
• Juggernaut: A character that comes to the 3D era from the first time, trying to add more heavyweights without being too similar to Hulk this lad is a good option for that.
• Dr. Octopus: Famous for be one of the cutted characters from UMvC3 due the bugs of his arms, I think probably in this era that wouldn't be an issue. Also in terms of Spider-Man villains he isn't only well reminded by the general public thanks to the amazing movie of Spider-Man 2 but it's in general one of the ones with the most unique ones in terms of gameplay.
• Lady: Talking about zoners, Lady would be a really cool character, I think Dante should let her use the other Kalina Ann to make her attacks even more cooler.
• Ken: You could think that Ken is a boring selection considering that he has a moveset very similar to Ryu, I would probably think the same if wasn't because SFV gived hima great revamp, particullary make this time his Heat Rush permanent giving him not only flaming Shoryukens but also flaming Hadoukens and Tatsumakis that goes in arc between others.
• B.B. Hood: Of the Darkstalkers that aren't in the base roster but appeared in previous games I think B.B. Hood would be the best of the additions, she is general one of my favorite characters due his moves and concept and in general idk but see Bulleta kicking the ass out of Ultron would be very badass.
• Iceman: Has I said the best way to make people happy is showingthem that the Mutants are back, so more mutants are welcome, I think Iceman should have another opportunity this time.
• Ms. Marvel: I was between she or reinclude Super Skrull, but I think maybe a brand new character would be better received especially considering that this wave has a lot of returning characters.
• Ant-Man: Another new character, look at what Injustice did with Atom, I think it would bring a very fun and curious playstyle making himself smaller or bigger depending of the situation.
• Frank West: A character that it was missing previously, so now it's time to redeem him!
• Hayato: Probably the last missing character between the famous Capcom Fighting Games that where left behind by the company, he also was part of MvC before so it isn't too difficult to imagine.
• Akuma: And of course has the grand finale of the Capcom part one of the most popular characters from one of their most popular franchises, Akuma. I think he should have more traits from Oni this time, not only with the Mu Goshoryuken that adquired in SFV but also instead of the (tbh) quite boring Mesatsu Gohado/Goshoryu/Gorasen/Tenma Gozanku let's use another supermoves from other games like Kongou Kokuretsuzan, Misogi and of course his Shun Goku Satsu.
• Cable: I was trying to avoid most of the gun users this time (has you can see, there are like 5 characters in the whole roster who mostly uses only firearms) but I think Cable is one of the most badass from previous games so add him would be a really good choice.
• SP//DR: Between all the Spider-Men in the multiverse, I think SP//DR is one of the most unique and curious that would work very well in MvC, also I would like to see the interactions of Penny and Jin with all the mech thing.
• Thanos: And has the last character you have the Mad Titan, probably the best way for end all this crazy roster.

Spoiler: Story

Set after the events of Persona 5 Strikers, Joker visits his friends in Shibuya during winter break that same year. However, word gets out of a new Phan-Site said to grant requests almost instantaneously. This causes not only widespread news, but chaos starts breaking out across the city just as fast.

After some investigation, the Phantom Thieves discover the culprit to be…another man named Joker?! This stranger is apparently responsible for using a fake Phan-Site to trick people into becoming Joker lookalikes. As this news reaches all over Japan, other investigators who initially thought the Phantom Thieves didn’t need to be looked into decide to step in as well.
