Smash: The British Pass
Fighter pass made to appeal to British audiences, while retaining international appeal for the most part. Not all British creations, and more marketing-driven than my usual passes by concept (sorry Dingodile and King Totomesu).

DC vs. SNK

In a shameless knock-off of homage to Marvel vs. Capcom, I've decided to put together an idea for what if major rivals of those respective companies followed suit and made their own crossover game. There will be eight teams of three on each side plus two bosses; admittedly, there are probably plenty of franchises within those respective companies that I know very little about, so SNK, for example, is likely going to be very heavy on characters from the King of Fighters games.

I'll alternate between DC and SNK. I'll operate as though this game is happening in the early 2000s, given that Marvel vs. Capcom 2 came out then and SNK was in financial trouble. A big crossover might have given them a shot in the arm to stay afloat for longer - who knows? (Then again, it didn't do Telltale Games much favours)

THE TRINITY

Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman

If you're making anything with DC, these three objectively need to be here. It's not even a question, let's be honest. They are some of the key faces of the superhero genre - if there was a Mount Rushmore for superheroes, I'd put these three and Spider-Man on it. They're so iconic that I likely didn't even need to say their names, since basically everyone knows who they are.

HERO TEAM

Kyo Kusanagi, Terry Bogard, and Ryo Sakazaki

Mixing up SNK's usual Hero Team since the roster's pretty limited, and games like Capcom vs. SNK 2 left out characters like Andy Bogard, Robert Garcia, and Goro Daimon. The three of them are King of Fighters mainstays and the leads of their respective series.

LEGION OF DOOM

The Joker, Lex Luthor, and Cheetah

The Joker may not have been a member of the Legion of Doom in the Superfriends cartoon, but it seems unlikely that he'd miss a chance to mess with Batman - plus, the three of them are arguably the main rivals of DC's Trinity. (a case could likely be made for Ares or Circe instead for Wonder Woman)

RIVAL TEAM

Iori Yagami, Geese Howard, and Mister Karate

Geese blackmailed Takuma into donning the Mister Karate identity again, while Iori wants to beat Kyo and doesn't care who he works with to do that. Much like the Legion of Doom with DC's main heroes, I figure this makes for a fitting counterpart to SNK's hero team.

TEAM TITANS

Nightwing, Starfire, and Donna Troy

The three of them seem best-suited for a martial arts tournament out of the Wolfman/Perez era members that I'm familiar with, with the last two having a bit of a competitive streak.

WOMEN FIGHTERS TEAM

Mai Shiranui, Chizuru Kagura, and Blue Mary

Mai has to be in here; as a fellow Fatal Fury character, Blue Mary seems like a good fit, and Chizuru has been on a team with Mai before. As well, Chizuru being here means that a team can consist of the Three Sacred Treasures - Kyo, Iori, and Chizuru.

GOTHAM CITY SIRENS

Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, and Catwoman

They're already a three person team made up of popular characters with varied skill sets; it seems like a logical fit.

IKARI WARRIORS

Leona Heidern, Ralph Jones, and Clark Still

King of Fighters mainstays, with Ralph and Clark providing options for larger characters. I don't think they need much of an explanation.

BIRDS OF PREY

Batgirl (Cassandra), Black Canary, and Huntress

The Birds of Prey are already a team; I'm used to the team consisting of three people, though as Barbara Gordon is Oracle at this point, Cassandra Cain is representing her on the team.

K' TEAM

K', Kula Diamond, and Maxima

Admittedly, I know very little about the NESTS saga, but I didn't want to ignore it. K' is the main character of that saga, replacing Kyo, while Maxim is a regular team member of his, and Kula is a popular newcomer from that era.

TEAM NEW GENESIS

Orion, Mister Miracle, and Big Barda

Maybe their presence here is a bit of a give-away for the identity of the final boss, but I figure it's an opportunity to incorporate DC's cosmic side. Apokolips's forces have been quiet as of late, so the three of them doubt that this tournament is a coincidence. As well, Barda and Orion want to test their strength, while Mister Miracle thinks it would make for a good promotional opportunity.

THE HUNGRY WOLVES

Rock Howard, B. Jenet, and Tizoc

This likely doesn't mesh with the timeline, but it's a crossover game, so canon is flexible. They seem like they'd be willing to work together, and it feels like they're the stand-outs among Garou's cast.

TEAM JUSTICE

The Flash (Wally West), Martian Manhunter, and Green Lantern (John Stewart)

I wanted to include some Justice League mainstays, though in the early 2000s, DC was downplaying Barry Allen and Hal Jordan due to them being dead. Given John's presence in the DCAU cartoon, I picked him over Kyle.

TEAM KOREA JUSTICE

Kim Kaphwan, May Lee, and Jhun Hoon

Kim is mildly annoyed that the name "Team Justice" was taken. Given May's enthusiasm about justice, I wanted to include her in a crossover with the Justice League, though this meant that I couldn't include both Choi and Chang. I went with Jhun Hoon instead.

NEWCASTLE CREW

John Constantine, Zatanna, and Swamp Thing

Of course, this tournament isn't what it appears to be. Constantine is investigating it, but the easiest way to do that is to participate and he can't do that on his own. Zatanna is also looking into it, and they rope Swamp Thing in to fill out the team.

ATHENA TEAM

Athena Asamiya, Yuri Sakazaki, and King

More or less a second version of the Women Fighters Team; Yuri and King have worked together before, and while Athena rarely strays far from her usual line-up, she has done so before. Admittedly, this team is a little thrown-together; I just thought that they're all big SNK characters who shouldn't miss out on this.

BOSSES

Darkseid and Rugal

If you're going to have a crossover, you might as well use the best-known of the big bad guys in the respective series. Darkseid has resurrected Rugal to serve as the face of the tournament while the Lord of Apokolips runs things from behind the scenes. The tournament is part of an elaborate scheme to find the Anti-Life Equation, believing that Orochi's powers might be a key ingredient. I was tempted to have something similar to Capcom vs. SNK 2 where Rugal and Darkseid gain new forms based on the powers that the other one uses, but I wasn't sure if that would be necessary.

As a result, here's a mock-up of the roster:

dc vs snk.png

There are plenty of characters that I wanted to include in here, between a Samurai Shodown team, the Flash's rogues, and a team that involved Booster Gold and Blue Beetle, but I didn't want to go overboard with the line-up (as it is, it's reached fifty characters!). There are large gaps in my knowledge of both companies, so there are likely several major characters that I left out, or characters whose presence (to a more knowledgeable individual) might not make sense. (when it comes to SNK, the bulk of my knowledge comes from King of Fighters, specifically the stretch between '94 and '98)

I'll edit in pictures for the individual teams later, but I wanted to make sure that this got posted. (I didn't want to type all of this out only for it to erase my progress midway through)

This would be a CTR Nitro Fueled-esque remaster where tracks from the old GP games are remastered. Many of the tracks from the GP series are redesigned to be more like the Tour city courses in 8 Deluxe (i.e. Unique routes on each lap). A good chuck of assets would be reused from 8 Deluxe.

Alright I'm not sure this is allowed since it's not related to games at all but this is technically a roster to some degree, and this thread has always had loose rules Let me know if this officially crosses the line, but I wanna talk about it.

So I like LEGO, and LEGO has a line of blind box CMFs (Collectible MiniFigures) that I just think are neat. Some of these are of licensed ip like Marvel, The Simpsons, Disney, and Looney Tunes.

There's precedent for retro cartoon and tv characters, so I thought I'd make a cmf series celebrating my favorite TV cartoon character library, Hanna-Barbara!

First, some guidelines. Most CMFs these days consist of 12 figures per series, but they used to feature 16, which give me a lot more breathing room.

I'll also be mentioning the accessories the characters could come with, as CMFS typically include those.

So let's finally get started!

LEGO Hanna-Barbera CMF:

1. Red Shirt Shaggy. Comes with a box of scooby snacks and Scooby-Doo, potentially with a red collar. Scooby-Doo is one of few Hanna-Barbara series to already have minifigs, so I wanted to provide something unique, while still offering a chance to get a member of the gang. Red Shirt Shaggy seemed like the best option, based on that weird period of time where they thought giving him one was a good idea.

2. Spooky Space Kook. An iconic scooby monster, he had a lot of stiff competition, but edged his way in due to being my favorite of them. I think it would be fun if he could glow in the dark, but with lego's existing methods of doing that he'd have to be green. Comes with Scrappy-Doo, a character I briefly considered making a figure, but he works better as a uniquely moulded piece to have consistency with the other Scooby-Doo related characters.

3. Pebbles. The Flintstones is the other Hanna-Barbara property to already have minifigs, so I couldn't include any of the adult characters. She'd be slightly aged up to around 4 or 5 to work as a minifig, but the Flintstones babies ages have always fluctuated so I think it's fine. She'd come with the family pet, Dino, a new piece designed to be around the same size as Scooby-Doo.

4. Bam-Bam. The other Flintstones baby. Gotta complete the set, he'd come with just a caveman club piece, which is something preexisting.

5. Elroy Jetson. Don't know if I'm just being influenced by the ride that used to be at Universal Studios, but Elroy Jetson always struck me as the most popular Jetson. He'd come with his dog, Astro.

6. Rosey the Robot. Another Jetsons character, I tried making most shows represented in this series 2 characters each, as that's what the Disney CMFs did to some degree and I like the duos approach. She'd have unique head and leg pieces, as well as a feather duster.

7. D!ck Dastardy. The most iconic villain of HB's lineup, he just has to be included. Comes with a silver trophy and a pidgeon.

8. Muttley. Can't have Dastardy without Muttley! He'd use a new head piece to get the shape right, in addition to an arrow sign piece, with the implication being he's gonna flip it to redirect the other racers.

9. Yogi Bear. A mightily iconic character that'd come with a new head piece, along with a "Don't Feed the Bears" sign... with the "Don't" crossed out.

10. Boo-Boo. Another character with a unique head piece. He'd come with a Picnic Basket.

11. Space Ghost. I had to throw in some of HB's superheroes, and Space Ghost seems like a great choice. He'd come with a small desk build complete with microphone, referencing Space Ghost Coast to Coast.

12. Blue Falcon. Another HB hero, comes with Dynomutt and some sort of bird shaped boomerang gadget.

13. Huckleberry Hound. Getting back to funny animals, Huckleberry Hound would come with a custom head piece and a record player build.

14. Snagglepuss. I GOTTA include Snagglepuss, like the other animal guys, he'd come with custom head. He also comes with an award and a script.

15. Atom Ant. A simple figure that comes with a few printed tiles made to look like atoms, maybe something heavy too to reflect his strength.

16. Jabberjaw. My man, my favorite shark. He'd come with a pretty large head piece that even goes over his torso, like lego Taz. He'd also come with shark flippers for arms, so he can't really hold anything.

And uhh, that's it! Hope you like it, let me know if I missed anyone you'd deem as pretty important, and if this is even allowed.

If this is allowed and received well, I will do more of these
