I'm going to see what I can come up with for one of the villain movesets. I only have vague ideas so far (Megatron's a slower heavyweight character; Rita Repulsa is tricky and summons minions; Cobra Commander uses the Weather Dominator for his level 2 Super), but in case I don't have enough for a full moveset, I want to bring up one thing.

In the G1 Transformers cartoon, Megatron's transformation was a pistol - one that was small enough that other Decepticons could pick him up and fire him.

However, in Transformers Devastation (the Platinum Games beat-em-up that's set in the same continuity), he turns into a tank.

If I make a Megatron moveset, I'll be going with the tank transformation - not only does that stick closer to the vehicle theme of the classic Transformers, but it's more threatening-looking and would make his attacks in that form seem like they'd have more weight to them.

I was going to bring this same thing up if/when (more likely when) I got around to a Megatron moveset. The dude has had many different alternate modes in comparison to Optimus and Bumblebee, so it could easily mount to a large topic of discussion.

With that said, Hasbro isn't allowed to make realistic guns as children's toys anymore, in fact it's illegal, so Megatron has practically shifted away from that entirely in the modern day. My go-to is also a tank because it's moreso an evolution of the gun, and is also Hasbro's usual go-to (something I was also going to address when I got to alternate costumes), so there's my thought process.

I also planned on bringing this same quote up for character interactions (as well as other lines from that same scene). Great minds think alike, I suppose

SWEET APPLE ACRES

​

Probably one of the most iconic and recognizable locales from the Friendship is Magic show. Located just outside Ponyville (thus representing that location), it's the epicenter of many episodes in the show and also serves as Applejack's home.
Since Applejack herself is playable I decided that, given how recognizable the farm is, it'd make a nice home stage for the character herself and represent a major location in the show; Multiple references could be hidden both in the foreground and background, and the farm aesthetic itself adds some nice visual diversity to the line-up of stages we have right now.

Game Modes​

I'm not even going to hide it, I am really tired after last night (went to sleep at 4 AM). I am going to wrap this up as quick as I can

So, wrapping up yesterday's character round, 2 submissions won the poll in a landslide! Introducing our first place fighter, at 17 points, welcome Play-Doh to the roster!

This was eventually going to happen sooner or later: the idea of using the cup mascots as fighters is perfect, and there is a lot of possibility for a moveset with them!

In second place is a returning submission, and one I can only presume is going to be a favorite among some of ya'll! Running up at 13 points, it's the bane of candy canes himself, Lord Licorice!

I actually really liked the idea for this character back in the Villains round, and I'm very glad to have him on board. Apparently he is also "Tumblr hot guy" material; okay, then.

Honestly very happy with these results! Truth be told... I am not a big fan of inaminate objects as fighters, so. Uh. But yeah, these 2 feel like very natural picks regardless!

Also, since there were only 2 nominations for My Little Pony Stages yesterday... both of them will be added by default! Those stages are, of course, Castle of Friendship and Sweet Apple Acres! I suppose there are just not a lot of MLP fans on this thread.
With that, there will be no new votes for today, meaning we can skip straight into jobs!!! (One less thing for me to worry about)

Same deal as last time; Nominateany typs of game mode you want to see in a Hasbro fighter! I think we all have a lot of ideas left after the first Game Mode round, and I definitely want to see most of them make it in, so... have at it!

Job: Create Alts/Costumes for any Character!
I don't think we've quite settled how we intend of implementing costumes; But, since Smash and PSAS has the usual 4-8 alternate colors, and both of them allow alternate skin types (not always but usually), I'll say to follow that same format!
I'm leaving this open for any character on the roster, so we can sift through this quickly!

Open Discussion: What will the plot of Story Mode be?
I've said before that this will be a job one day... and given our primary job are the game modes, today is the perfect day!
This should has a lot of routes to go; We could stick with what my pitch was by default, or we can go a different route with what the Story Mode could possibly be. While we're at it, we could also decide if we want a more traditional fighting game story or do it mkre Subspace style, though I'm leaning towards the former. And, of course, the main villain has to be decided upon by the end of this, though I think the pick is fairly obvious.

All-Versus-One Mode

this mode is similar to All-Star Mode from Super Smash Bros. Games,this mode the character player fight against all fighters from the game in chronological order (the oldest character to newest character),but it's 6 against one per round,after the character player KO the 6 opponents, the character player is summoned by a peaceful place showing the next 6 fighters, a teleporter for the next round and 3 healing items.

​

A stamina mode is a gamemode where the percents are replaced by healthbars instead. It appeared in Super Smash Bros games as game mode.
I think it would be fun to include it in the game since the normal VS mode has percentages in fighters' UIs.

Resubmitting Hasbro Toy Museum and Archives

Basically, this will be the Trophies (which would be the collectable action figures) combined with Masterpieces and such. Here, you get to view various toys of the Hasbro IPs throughout the years. You'll even get to watch episodes/short films/toy commercials/etc. of past Hasbro IPs that recieved tv shows, direct-to-home video series, etc.

The trophies would be various toys and board games from Hasbro's years even printed ads and promo posters from back then can be included, with the pre-determined action figures. Heck, we can maybe even feature the crossovers these brands have had with non-Hasbro IPs if that is allowed and such. If not, we can stick to solely Hasbro's history here.

It's like the PBS Kids Archives in my own game PBS Kids: Brawltime! but with trophies (the collectable action figures) as well. A celebration of Hasbro's history right here.

I'll come up with a story mode plot and more arcade mode endings later at some point.

Story Mode:
Plot: The main villain(we'll decide that later I presume) has trapped Hasbros Heroes on a board game world having to beat their challenges to progress and or win the game. There will be multiple Monopoly style boards to play on and depending on the board/space you land on will have to play a battle with a certain foe/condition. The gameplay will be similar to Smash Run/World of Light.

• The way I'm envisioning this is similar to the Custom Smash mode, with a bunch of different parameters to customize the match

Sorry for falling off the wagon yesterday, but I do have some ideas for Mr. Monopoly alts. Each alt has their own property color for their Down Special - Just a nice aesthetical touch.

1. Default (Black clothes, blue properties)
2. Classic Mr. Monopoly (light blue/purple top hat, blue pants, light blue properties)
3. Monochrome color scheme (based on early art of Mr. Monopoly, brown properties)
4. Pink clothes with white accents (pink properties)
5. Yellow clothes with orange accents (yellow properties)
6. Green clothes with black accents (green properties)
7. Blue clothes with green accents (red properties)
8. Orange clothes with red accents (orange properties)

The last five alts are based on different colors of Monopoly money, with the last two throwing in the color of houses (green) and hotels (red).

So, not much happened yesterday besides the game modes round, but thankfully that means I can wrap this up quickly!

Well, actually, since the nominations were only 4, they're all returning from the previous Game Mode round, and they're all straightforward and don't require many jobs associated with them, I have decided... no votes will be held! Now, with that out the way, today is going to be another character round, as usual. What for, you may ask?

NEW JOBS​

G.I. Joe is the codename for America's daring, highly trained, special mission force.
Its purpose: To defend human freedom against Cobra, a ruthless, terrorist organization determined to rule the world.

Kicking off in the 60's before being rebranded in the 80's as a 3.75 inch vehicle based military line, G.I. Joe quickly became Hasbro's first major success in the 80's as a multimedia franchise that will soon become a staple format for future IPs. An icon of the toy aisles and Hasbro's IP library, with over 163 possible characters, the franchise continues to march on in the modern day with new releases. So far, this franchise is represented with the likes of Snake Eyes and Cobra Commander, but the other Joes are just itching to duke it out on the battlefield, aren't they?

Baroness

​

Baroness is one of villains from GI Joe series and she is Cobra's intelligence officer and also lieutenant to Cobra Commander. Baroness originated from aristocratic wealthy European family. She is believed to be a spy and saboteur at an exclusive facility run by a former Warsaw Pact intelligence agency.
She is one of popular COBRA characters in GI Joe series and one of most known female characters in the series.

Her moveset would be somewhat tactical, because she was used to be a spy and saboteur, so she could use her kicks and punches very wisely. She would be also fast in terms of speed, but not fast as Snake Eyes or Rainbow dash. She could also use her weapons in her moveset like her gun that is seen on the picture.
She would be middleweight bait-and-punish character with ability to crawl.

I feel that having an another GI Joe villain would make sense, considering that transformers has 2 heroes and 1 villain, so GI Joe would have 2 villains and 1 hero in the game (it depends if we get more GI Joe rep but still).

G.I. Joe character

Scarlett/Agent Scarlett

Scarlett is one of the original members of the G.I. Joe team and has been featured in the toyline, comic books, even in the recent movie Snake Eyes. I do not know much about G.I. Joe but I do feel we need more female characters on the roster for sure. She just looks cool and gives off a Black Widow-esque vibe for sure. Plus, we need a G.I. Joe hero (or heroine in this case) so I feel Scarlett works the best here.

Story Mode Plot:

Basically, the story mode would be about Hasbro boy and his family playing a huge game of Dungeons and Dragons...but it will involve various Hasbro characters in their campaign. This leads to the story being one big mess of worlds and characters colliding. However, they all get along and have to fight an enemy, the Dungeon Master. Later on though, the power of the Hasbro Multiverse becomes too much for the Hasbroverse (even the Dungeon Master) and leads to Unicron being the villain.

The story mode will have platforming sections, fights like in Super Smash Bros Brawl's Subspace Emmisary, bossfights and even cutscenes with voice acting. Overall, a huge celebration of the Hasbro multiverse.

I think we can do a mix of both palette swaps and model swaps. Not every character has enough history to do all model swaps but some do, so it's really dependent (Smash has also been doing this more recently)

For Optimus atleast 4 of them are model swaps (though I tried to make sure they fit the base proportions) because he has a huge history of alternate designs.
I should note that Nemesis Prime, Pepsi Convoy and Golden Lagoon are just color swaps and the images are used for reference.

A mercenary who's often allied with Cobra, and a master of disguise. Over time, he's used holograms, practical disguises, and outright shapeshifting.

I regretted not pushing harder for Mystique in the DC vs. Marvel thread, and Zartan could fill a similar niche here, being able to fit tons of cameos as he shapeshifts into various members of GI Joe or Cobra and tries to imitate their skills. (to varying degrees of success) He's also a skilled archer and martial artist if he winds up cornered.

Roadblock

A member of the Joes. Roadblock is a heavy weapons specialist who likes to use a heavy machine gun, amoung other weapons. He'd be a bruiser, using his brute stengh as well as his guns. He'd give us some POC rep and was also portrayed by the Rock in the movie so we could technically have the rock in another platform fighter.

Sure, I already did Nemesis Prime as an alt. Although we never actually did talk about clone characters, did we? That could be a future job. But anyway, I'll give it the okay.

Also, between the two, I would say to play WFC. I think Devastation is more fun but WFC has been more influential for the franchise as a whole
