I'll have Reach sometime tomorrow. I gotta go to the Naval exchange and then I gotta go back to the Gamestop in the mall about 30 minutes away.. I'll be on ALL night tomorrow...

Brother stayed out all night yesterday, today was school and work so he only got like 2 hours of sleep.

Looks like I won't be playing tonight since he will be using his room to pass out. Oh well, I can wait.

I looked over the achievements for Reach and I didn't see any for beating the campaign on co-op mode. I'm assuming it still counts if you play with friends on legendary? It'll unlock the "beat campaign on legendary" achievement for everyone?

My plan is to:

Beat the campaign on normal first so I know what to expect
Play with 3 other friends and beat it on co-op on legendary
Beat the campaign alone on legendary...*gulp...*
Get all the firefight and online achievements

I got it at 12 and proceeded to play it for a few hours before my parents came home.

I'm not sure, but
infinite jetpacks have issues with regaining height
.

Alright, about half way done with Heroic solo run.

All I gotta say is I hate Elites, I hate Brutes, I hate Hunters, and I hate Drones.

But persistence.

Did one online game, best K/D Ratio but lost :/

Oh well.

That Infection game was fun. I was at the local University waiting on my friend to get out of class so I couldn't play long lol

I got nothing but time tomorrow.

Also I have this hatred for the DMR... It shoots sooo effing slooooow...

I love this game so far. I'm amazing at swat, always get 15+ kills. Also, I actually really like the DMR. I'm really accurate, but that's just because I'm on 3 sensitivity.

It takes to long to kill someone with it... I swear it took like 6 headshots to kill someone.. I just stick with the Mag whenever I gopt stuck in a DMR match.. >_>

And after 8 hours, I finished Heroic solo. Not a bad time for an FPS. No doubt on easy you can blow through it in 4-5 hours.

Too lazy to forge anything now.. Guess it's time for some multiplayer.

I found the Forge controls really confusing because it's so different from Halo 3's version. I can get used to it pretty fast though - it definitely seems more useful than the previous control scheme.

I dunno about campaign, since we've not completed it yet. Seems interesting so far, though. I really like Jorge's character.

And Catherine Halsey seems waaaa different to what previous things have portrayed her to look like.

I haven't touched Campaign yet. lmao I've had friend that beat it in 8 hours. In that 8 hours I can go up so many ranks. Though I hate how they adopted the ranking system that CoD had. Now there is no way to de-rank.. I always liked pushing myself knowing I need to do better..

Also DMR ***** Swat.

But it sucks in everything else.

I love playing Swat in this game. EVERYTHING IS SO ****ING TACTICAL! I LOVE IT!

I am so bad now.. Dang. I went on like a 10 lose streak in Team Slayer. I was usually first in my team and always had some guy that had like 1-3 kills.

Elite Slayer is FUN and Active Camo is definitely my favorite Armor Ability. I use it and crouch around and assassinate people a lot.

Aye, the one with a turret and a gas tank in his chest. He's actually one of the guys the Master Chief is one of. :bee:

I get my image mainly from Homecoming from Halo: Legends, as I tend to disregard The Package's awful portrayal of her. She has a slightly younger look there and much longer hair. Oh, and glasses.

rhan, I just don't get what you hate about the DMR. It's barely any different from the BR, just being semiautomatic, more damage per bullet and more accurate.

Dude Jorge is a freakin beast. Plus he's also a bada** for something he does incampaign (don't wanna spoil lol)

Also is Hasley the same person that was in the Reach book? (the lady that recruited chief)

Also I think the accuracy of the DMR lowers if you try to spam the trigger at someone or w/e. At least this is what I heard back during the beta.

Bad news for some of you who wanted to Remember Reach with some of your closest pals: Halo Reach's excellent co-op functionality requires an Xbox 360 hard drive. While that's unfortunate for all non-hard drive owning Xbox 360 gamers, it's especially worrisome for those of you who recently jumped into a 4GB Xbox 360 S. While they finally (quietly) released a hard drive for the new console, the $130 asking price is a hefty barrier to entry if you're looking for some co-op fun.

I can't play this until Monday. My Legendary Edition is sitting at home whilst I'm hundreds of miles away on holiday. Do you all think you'll still be playing this then?

Yup! I'll only be playing this game till Gears of War 3 is out next year.

EDIT: So apparently, installing Reach to your HDD helps A LOT!

I can't do the campaign or firefight LIVE co-op or system link co-op. I got the slim that is pretty much the arcade of the slims.

It doesn't have a hard drive. It's a MU.
