It will work as long as everybody chooses not to be moronheads about it. I'll be a panelist btw (I'd say I'm qualified for it; I have a good understanding of tournaments and I have already hosted some big ones to prove it). Not to say that there aren't more qualified people.

yeah I dunno. It wouldn't be a problem actually, because its basically Scarborough and Mississauga that are the two big Melee places (that have panelist-material people in it), so it's not like any other location will be being left out. If there are any objections for that reason then I'll retract my proposal.
