I would happily do this.... but the MWC event is on the 7th.

Having online tournaments on one day is silly

This isn't exactly one day.
It starts on the 7th and It will go through a couple of days.
The 7th will probably will be the first 2 rounds.
There is a lot of time before that and you're allowed to do your matches beforehand.
Then if you can get them done you'll be okay for that day.
Or so I believe, anyways good luck with that event thing.

Give him Pokemon trainer for sure and I'll see if he's going to use anyone else.

It's not on one day. It's more like spread out now. I believe it'll be to hard on one day.

EDIT: and if you get your first round match done, you want have to do much on he first day. So it's plausible.
