people now think that teleport+revive karthus is the best this game has to offer

i quit karthus forever LOL

edit: i don't understand why he specified "teleport + revive" on his list? he felt the need to share that with us? so we see a bunch of terrible suicide karthus players for the next two weeks? graaahhhh

It's multiplicative like % reduction, so it's actually only 64.3% with mastery and Void Staff. It's still freaking insane though.

He explained it the last time he updated the Solo Queue tier list (Riven; yes, he had Karthus at #1 way back then, he just changed it to specifically tp+revive Karthus this patch methinks). There was some high elo player who had raised almost entirely on tp+revive Karthus. The basic strategy was just unload, die, unload while dead, revive, tp to teamfight (if necessary), and unload again for clean-up.

You are right though, there are more than likely going to be a bunch of terrible tp+revive Karthus players now.

Solo queue tier list kind of a joke. If you find yourself a good strong gimmick you can climb quick and easy.

Also it's not that we don't sympathize with john! but we have all either been where he was and surpassed that point, or keep it to ourselves cause venting on the forums won't change anything. Dastrn (who doesn't play anymore) also used to complain a lot and we told him to get over it/stop posting about it as well. This isn't a unique case or anything.

AP Sion is simply a ridiculous laner now. YOU CAN'T HARASS HIM. Someone tell me how to beat him? Or is it entirely dependent on just getting good ganks from the jungler?

What if you hit him while his shield is up to stop him from exploding? Even if he stuns you to stop that from happening, Sion has an incredibly small max mana.

fairly new to LoL, can someone explain to me why the tier list changes so drastically each patch when most champions aren't even changed? i.e. Zilean going from #1 to tier 3 lmao.

Pick strong laners against Sion, people that can keep up with his push and/or burst down his shield. Also make sure you have burst on your team for later. If your whole team is DoT or you can't keep up with him in lane he's gonna run rampant with mobility boots and run train on your team. He's always been like this, though.

1. This is an opinionated tier list
2. Patch notes change the meta very frequently
3. New champs riot doesnt wana nerf change the meta
4. Its been a month or so since elementz last tier list

Dont let it discourage you when zilean is tier 3 if you play him cause a good chunk of the champs are viable even if they are not listed at tier 1

Are there any champs out there that can actually have a snowball item as more or less a 'core' item? I know snowball items tend to get a lot of hate just due to their unpredictable nature, but I feel like there are certain champs that can actually use it extremely well in almost every match. Like, they're predictably going to go positive every match, and then some.

Nunu, for instance.

EDIT: I should probably note that I'm using Nunu as an example because he's someone I figured it out for. And I don't mean it as a 'snowball and **** everything' item on him, but as an item that he can just use really efficiently and it helps him greatly.

I'd say support characters, but it is definitely better to just build GP5 items.
Maybe non-traditional support characters?

I always get mejais on leblanc

if you play leblanc you might as well go mejais since you're going to lose if you can't burst down anybody on their team

plus it's hard not to snowball as leblanc in solo queue

the only downside to getting mejais on leblanc is if you die a couple times you will lose the game.

@Omni, if its within 30 days, they will refund it against the sale price I believe. Just send in a support ticket and see what happens.

Server busy... taking the time to update my test realm client. If it patches completely before the wife gets home, I will rock a couple of games on there.

I think most of his list is accurate. o.o Nothing stands out as crazy.

The tier list changes because the champions change, strategies are developed, and players get better. It's pretty simple.

Pick someone with sustain that can clear big creep waves, and scales better into late game. Why harass him if it doesn't work? o.o

I just bought shaco to troll kids with last night and i wanna try troll 3s with heimy AP shaco and urgot..and seeing as how the other 2 are F2P for a week i think ill have fun with it!

So I wanted to pick nunu for once since he was free and I had already had him a long time ago. I did pretty good getting 9/0/8,

Never knew his ult did so much dmg getting a triple kill hiding in a bush lol
