I run jungle tree sometimes with premades and he can gank top before minions get there with a very specific rune page I stole from StoneWall. Flat ad reds, armor yellows, flat ap blues and ap quints, open with a dring. Put down three saplings starting at 1:07 at wraiths punch the big one when it spawns and they all die. Then run up to twin golems toss a sapling and smite and punch one twin for level 2. Gank top with snare and sapling and usually they're forced to flash. Go back in afterwards and usually you get first blood.

I usually go 2 drings, cata ----> roa, to tanky whatever I need. It seems like he really loses steam after 15 minutes or so, so you have to have a really strong opening.

Still having fun with Dominion.

The opinions on here are kind of funny. Of course you're going to be more in favor of something you've put up to two years into versus something that's been out for a week.

I personally think that people who say the game is stagnant are simply not experimenting enough. I think that most of the OP champs are overrated. And, of course, where Evelynn is viable is where I'll be. :)

I like Q more for harass and sustain (lowest CD, scaling slow, high base damage, and controllable), sapling for push and harass under tower or if I'm going for burst combo. Q definitely also makes jungle faster. After choosing whether to max Q or E, I tend to alternate the other with W so that I get the improved snare duration and stuff.

@Wave - you pretty much want 1 point in each spell first, then max out whatever.

Maokai has always been early game champ you have to press the advantage while you have it.

They could just not like it lol. I'm still having fun with it but not really taking it seriously though. Sivir is too fun in Dominion. I have noticed that its becoming campier by the game. Hold base nodes, and grab windmill all day.

That's true, and I'm not trying to tell anyone to like something if they say they don't. I just don't like how it seems people think they have things figured out when it's only been out for a week and all you can play are normals.

I think solo queue (or just plain normals) will become campier once the players get smarter. It's actually not that tough to defeat a camping strategy, but it requires a good amount of teamwork which, of course, isn't really feasible without a premade.

I decide to play a ranked.
GO bot with a taric as cait. Sounds good. We're doing fine. i'm 2/0
Cho is 1/5 top Kass is 0/3 mid Noc is 1/4 in jungle. 20 min shows up and they surrender 4/0 when i'm 2/1 with most cs. This is what makes me stop playing for the rest of the day >.<

So much this.
Dominion's been publicly available for a whopping...2/3 weeks?

And comparing it to Summoner's Rift, which has been out for eons, is silly. Dominion needs time to develop.

And I agree that most Champs that are "OP" in Dominion are being blown out of proportion.

...I don't think Rammus is as OP as people think, but meh.

@Ang: I played a draft game once, and the other team forfeit despite the fact that other than the small, 4-0 death count we had on them, both teams were still more or less equal. :applejack:

What breaks Dominion atm is being able to stack Gunblades. The item needs to be removed or both vamps need to become unique passives.

and then you realize a single ignite and you have barely any healing because of the stacking reduced healing effects.

I've never seen or tried stacking gunblades. I personally don't see why this strat would be OP on Dominion and not also OP on SR. Since I doubt it's OP on SR, I'd really have to see it in action on Dominion.

Perhaps I can try it out on my smurf. Is there a particular champion it's most effective on?

Double Gunblade on Akali. Jax is better off with just 1

As for Maokai, what spell to max depends on what you want. Maxing saplings gives you the highest burst possible if you get the double hit/have them stacked. Maxing Q gives you more sustained and reliable damage (also cheaper mana wise).

Super Super Hyped about the Nine Tails Fox char coming to league soon. They better name her Naruto.

I would post the pic, but I'm sure posting to many breaks a forum rule or something.

her name is kumiho and shes korean bro
I'm very disappointed they didn't name her Tamano.
They should have named her Aya Kiguchi.

Boots start would help Maokai gank so much better, but you need some monstrous leashes to succeed with that imo.
You know what.

Monstrous leashes should be the norm. Do half those wolves' health in damage. Then put their blue at 600 health before leaving. Give your jungler a 15 second head-start and enable him to use one less red pot in exchange for losing 2 creeps worth of exp as a support? Use CV down there so your guy doesn't get bush ***** and you're good to go. Hell yeah. I do it every time. You're doin it wrong if you just autoattack once and run.

The norm in dota, leash ****. Do max dps necessary for your teammates to succeed.

The ignite doesn't stop you from dying to them.

@Scamp: Any time I see a Jax or Akali all they make is gunblades. Both of their passives / kits heavily support it. It's not viable in SR due to the fact that it's a completely different game mode and you dont get 5g/s in SR.

@DMG: How is Jax better with one? He gets HP per AP/AD, it's by far his most efficient item when he can just sit on a node and grab health kits the entire game.

Pretty much same thing happened to me yesterday.
Was solo top as Cho dumping on an Akali. 20 minutes in I was 6/0 with the most CS in the game, with my Rylai's finished, Mercs, and a Blasting Wand + Negatron for my Abyssal. Basically instagibbing all their squishies.
We were down on kills 8-11, down a tower, but up a dragon. Surrender succeeds 4-1. :(

I was in great position to carry my team but some people give up way too easily.

The one thing is that if they have a competent tank/CC, Cho literally can't carry :[

Imo after the first Gunblade, you're better off aiming for Atmas to handle DPS running around trying to capture stuff. I don't see the point of building him full damage instead of Damage + Tanky if you're holding points with him. For capturing points with him, I'd build him more mobility.

Jesus, im really liking kogmaw. He is so strong. Just trying to figure out the most optimal build. While playing kogmaw i feel that i can do both tons of physical and magical damage at the same time. Makes it pretty easy to shred bruisers. And if you get a phage on him or even a tri force you can kite crazy well.

For kiting you usually see Frozen Mallet instead of Triforce cause the slow isn't guaranteed and damage wise while you can proc easily with his ult, you can't do it consecutively on proc cooldown without burning through mana. Unless you wanna wait for your ult counter to wear off, but why go through all of that when you can just guarantee the slow with Frozen Mallet?

If you want straight AD Kogmaw, regular stuff like Bloodthirster IE etc. On hit/AS with Madreds and more AS orientated build obv. I like on hit/AS more, if only for easier Dragon control (cause he shreds Dragon with Barrage and madred procs along with jungler madred procs, and lots of free vision from his Ult) and because it makes him go a different route than most traditional carries building IE/Bloodthirster and P Dancer. You also have incentives for building on hit AS since you have built in free AS and on hit health shred.
