I mean... it makes sense. Free wards/vision and superior jungle objective clearing, plus some sustain for lane via lifesteal and defense. Just b/c it's not broken like back when the proc procced lifesteal doesn't mean it's not good anymore :p

It was nice to see Janna looking way more useful than Soraka.
What's this in reference to?

nvm see the tourney stream is up

And for the record, I just fought one of the most frustrating comps ever. Trynd, Blitz, Anivia, Yorick, and Mundo. BOTH of the last two built warmog's. Anivia was eternally out of reach and Blitz was constantly grabbing anyone who dared attack them. And then Tryndamere just split push the entire game because the other four could handle us 4v5 with little to no problem. So frustrating...

Normals yes, but frustrating nonetheless...

Honest question, why can't Lee Sin be immune to Teemo's blind and Cass's ult?

He's flippin' blind... and it's not like this is a huge buff or anything, or like he'd counter those characters... I mean, he already destroys poor Akali lol.

possibly teemos poison could cloud the mind so lee could still go blind. but with Cass i could see it just slowing him instead.

I think a big reason Chaox went with wriggles was so he could compete with the Soraka healz.

Along with all the other stuff. :L

How much ck should you be aiming for every 10 minutes?

80-90ish is pretty good, I think.

Don't remember exactly what percentage of creeps that is tho. 95% is good.

edit:
@vocal- dont aim for less than really good.

i thought that there was like 118 or something by ten minutes not sure

Europe popularized the support + AD carry bot strategy and they also run teleport a lot more frequently

Every 30 seconds starting at 1:30 and ending at 9:30 = 8 minutes. That's 16 creeps waves at 6 creeps a piece = 96 and a siege minion every 1:30, starting at 2:30 = 5 siege minions, for a total of 101 creeps.

80 cs for 10 min is what you should be aiming for. More than that is obviously better, but in my experience 80 cs for 10 min is what you get when you're farming spot-on.

*Math may be horrible, I'm useless at it when I don't do it regularly -_-

**It takes 30 seconds for creeps in the sidelanes to travel the length of the lane and start fighting each other. Hence the creeps that spawn at 9:30 are the ones you're farming at 10:00.

Yea yea. I change my expectations based on which opponent I'm laning against; for example, if I'm against Brand as a ranged carry (what happens 4th and 5th picks screw you) then I'm going to get less than if I was against Vlad, for example.

those of you who were asking about on-hit koggy...

usually i try to get a babysit support bot, and koggy is magic damage, so you'd want a mid or top lane that could dish out ad damage

starting items vary, but i like starting with doran's blade because it makes farming easier. regrowth/meki can work too. whatever lets you farm the most.

the build is malady/wit's end/sorcerer's shoes/bloodrazor, usually in that order. it costs about as much as ie + pd and does so much more.

you end up at like 2 attacks per second... and each attack during BAB deals something like 12% health + 200 combined physical and magic damage. and you have +80 magic penetration, plus some armor/mr. it *****.

the other items can be nashor's tooth, mallet, rageblade, or even triforce or ie if you're so0per fed

Guys I need help with Tristana. I play her terribly and every time I pick her, I feel like I do awful.
Any basic tips towards her build? Items, what skills to level up first, runes?

She's really fun and I love to play her, but I'm starting to get demotivated whenever I pick her because I've had nearly a 0% success rate with her.

i think most tristanas level up explosive shot first in order to make farming easier. get a point in rocket jump though to avoid ganks. her burst is pretty decent once you get your ult, you just have to know when to go in for the kill.

i used trist almost exclusively back at level 10-20 or so, but it's been kind of a long time so i don't know the best way to build her these days lol.

I feel bad for skarner everytime i play Gangplank. :(

edit: @DanGR so right now im averaging around 80 ck(per 10 min) while staying involved with my team. Do you think it would be worth it more to just afk farm so i average around 95 ck(per 10 min) and then just come out or should i just stay involved with my team? If i get opportunities to solo gank I will obviously, but I don't know who much I should be running around trying to save headless chickens.

His avatar, your comment. Too good.
Ha, I like new Jazriel. He isn't as trolly and is actually entertaining from time to time :)

While I used to do what john! suggested and it worked ok, there are better routes to go. Your skill order will nearly always be EWWEWRQ>Max W>Max Q>Max E.

Tristana, in early levels, plays more like a burst mage than a ranged carry. You power level Rocket Jump to get as much damage potential as possible, and you take two levels of E before level 6 to maximize burst. I did the math a while ago, and if I'm remembering correctly you have about 600 burst damage at level 6 to targets with 30 mr, though I don't think that took the penetration mastery into account and I can't remember if that's including Ignite or not. And that's not counting auto attacks :awesome:

For spells you'll most often want to run Flash/Ignite. While most ranged carries only have one or no escape, you have two (your jump and your ult). Only take Exhaust over Ignite when you're certain you need it to survive a diver from the enemy team.

Candy Panda actually has a great guide for Tristana: http://www.solomid.net/guides.php?g=2091 I opt for the utility tree instead of defense, and I run atk dmg yellows instead of atk spd but that's all preference.
