We should go back and give MVP's to all the games where mafia played badly and where town played badly then.

Not saying that, I'm saying a side does bad for a reason, if town couldn't get it done, it should be on their shoulders.

Look at Utrick'd, I ****ed that game up and sold played me like a goddamn fiddle. He got his MVP for that game.

This isn't an argument about town playing badly. It's a simply fact that Dietz cheating changed the game's course of events into something that never should have occurred in the first place. And if anyone genuinely believes that Dietz's actions had no effect on how this game turned out, they are kidding themselves.

And yeah, Glyph, it sucks that cheating transpired when you put so much effort into it. In any other scenario what you did probably would have warranted MVP. However, that doesn't change the fact that the game's event were changed and you shouldn't have even been around past D3 to save the game at all.

Good **** for pulling it out after you were given a second chance. No one is taking those props away for you. Just know that this game was tainted and that's the way **** happened.

Ryker you gave us two mislynches. I do appreciate that, but from that point onward (you know, day 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8) it was all me and EE. Entirely. JTB did stuff that was crafted by our slot, and rarely posted even with that.

The Gorf lynched ended with himself hammering after we made such a damning case that he felt he had no chance. And then after he died, he messaged me on AIM saying 'so you're town right?'. And on top of that, we built a case (and had Gorf and JD on board off the top of my head) not only taking apart Banana's case, but also putting him out there as a potential ML.

This isn't about the MVP. I could give a rat's *** about getting a postbit on a hydra I probably won't ever see again. Its about working as goddamn hard as I have and then watching the people I would have considered to be my closest friends on Dgames (or hell, the entire internet) take a **** on everything I did. THAT ****ing kills me.

The one use we ended up getting out of inventions was pegging the low NAR of the abductor. That actually ended up being pretty handy.

Well that and we pulled all the eyes that had been on you off for as long as we were alive, but I'm not talking about just me. I'm talking about JDitz helping you out and the generally horrendous town play, especially early on.

I'm not saying you didn't put in hard work. That's ****ing obvious and you won the game which I appreciate because it's another win for me.

I'll be happy to drop it once MVP is awarded. The JD debacle had no impact on our play, it was a neat boon to catch Gorf but we certainly would have been able to push someone else that Day if it came down to it. Same as we did every single other Day of the game after D2.

It gave you an ML to swing on the day you guys were nearly lynched AND gave you a clear shot at the only player in the game capable of beating you in an argument and lynching your *** down the road.

There's a reason why I haven't awarded it yet.

Ryker assisted his faction well, but Biceps put in a ton of work and it showed in the end.

By the way Washed, I do have some complaints, if you don't mind hearing them.

The first one is, why didn't you call Deitz out for cheating when he claimed that he knew Gorf was jailer? I never thought about it, but you should have called him out on that right when Deitz said it. Did you miss it or something?

Also, I didn't really appreciate your bias against me towards the end of day 2. I wasn't being the shiniest apple, but you should still show some neutrality and discretion before you add fuel to the fire. Whether or not you want to admit it, you contributed to my lynch by reacting in the way you did to me. I was and sitll am thoroughly unimpressed by your modding at that point and I hope to never see it again in a similar fashion.

Aside from that, I enjoyed the game, the flavor, and its trollish design. I also like the interesting and new ideas you put forward towards some of the roles.

Even if that's the case, the point is that he needs to show some mod discretion as a unbiased, neutral party. The mod should not have any impact on how the game plays out whatsoever.

I disagree that Washed's very clear dislike for me acted as a preventative for my lynch. I think you're just being silly.

Yes. In his position, I would have mod killed Deitz straight away. Or put the game on hold and spoke with Xivii/Raziek/other moderators of the room first before acting. But I would not have let the game progressed because Deitz would have been, from my point of view, very clearly cheating.

Lets not make ourselves look silly and advocate Washed not acting sooner with the Jdietz predicament, Ryker. -_-;. Same with the fact that he didn't show neutrality as a mod. Regardless of whether or not it helped me (or, what it seemed to me, worked against me), he should still be neutral. I think even you will agree with me on this.

I believe Deitz confirmed Gorf as jailer, so unless I read it wrong, Deitz knew Gorf was jailer when Gorf claimed role blocker.

And no, I wasn't threatening anyone, which is why I never posted the PM when Washed said "don't do it". I thought posting my role PM might help Town, I had no idea that the act of posting a role pm was so widely advocated against in Dgames. I thought maybe my role PM could provide town information that could potentially help since, well, it seemed I was going to die anyway.
