Dedede will remain top 4/5 in brawl as long as people realize that he's more than a chaingrab.
He has all the tools needed to gimp characters.
You can easily make most of the cast play at your pace.
Good kill moves.
He can tank stocks.
An aerial grab for mixups (neutral b)
Has enough tools to where he can outspace (not outcamp (falco, rob, snake *but you're cg'ing that guy anyways) a great deal of characters)
His overall character goes directly with how brawl should be played. (slow)
and of course he can chaingrab most characters for a quick 40-50%, if not, he still has great grab range and can do 12% or more a pop.

Nah. It's pretty easy to beat Lounis in tournament. You just have to stay on the ground. First round knockout for sure.

huh? He's ranked 8th now, and people realized he was more than a chaingrab when the game first came out. People are saying he's not viable in the sense that he shouldn't be winning tournaments because of his bad matchups, etc.

Just stay outside of his grab range. Bair and Grab are all he truly has. Other than that, he's not amazing. D3 is mainly meant to test your patience. You can't keep your cool, and you'll lose (especially against ones that cause more frustration than D3).
