The smash community consists of more than just U and the people U kno that plays Melee. Plus EVEN IF no1 that played Melee switches to play Brawl there could still be people that switch from Brawl to Melee. Call it Trash and call it overhyped, it's STILL a great game and there are gonna be people who like it more than they like Melee. Just like there are gonna be people that like Melee more than Brawl like U and anyone U know that plays Melee.

Also, I found them after a long look. Dumb Question, I was lookin for it and got lazy :embarrass

This is not a thread for the Brawl players. No one that regularly posts in this thread gives more than one solitary shit about the game or its players.

Just don't question it, sir. Let them do as they please. It's no reason to argue.

I'm not getting down on myself. They don't like the game. Have you read this thread? I was just stating the obvious. I personally do not care what someone says about a video game that I happen to enjoy. (When it extends beyond that, and it goes into my own ability at anything, there's a problem, though.)

This thread is trying to get some reasoning back for a Power Rankings, and everyone involved would rather not mention Brawl at all. (Not that there shouldn't be Brawl Power Rankings, but the fact still remains.)

Arguing Brawl's inherent goodness/badness only takes away from the point of the thread, and leaves people with no sense of accomplishment.

I don't want a serious thread derailed by another stupid video game argument, is all. We have more important things to worry about than what game one prefers.

EDIT: To clarify, I don't mean that playing Brawl inherently excludes you from the thread. It's just that arguing about putting Brawl in a circuit that is primarily Melee-based in idea (at least, by those proposing it) will get you flamed, so there's no reason to try; at least, not in this thread.

It's already been said that Melee is the prime focus of the thread. I'd like to say that a conversation pertaining to Brawl would be somewhat viable, but when you get only a page of flaming about how terrible you are at Melee as a result, it's not worth it.

Maybe the Brawl players should simply make another thread to talk about it. It's not inherently good, but some people just can't help themselves, it seems...

K, but if U guys really wanna do it U might wanna holla at Mankosuki, Zone and Green Mario. Those would be th easiest people that could help U get started. I'm not as good as Green Mario is in Melee so I doubt I'd be able to get anymore than 30 people out to a Melee event. But Green and Manko kno **** loads of Melee players.

also, we could very easily tear apart brawl and present how it's nowhere near as good as melee factually, lol

but he is right, a brawl + melee circuit is a good idea, and Kyle and Manko are good spots for spam

I don't think that he was making a "which game is better argument". I think he was making a suggestion. Certain people were just hopping on him because he doesn't like melee better than Brawl and you people obviously take that as offensive.

I'm def gettin back into the Melee scene. I've never had a chance to go to any REAL Melee tournies tho :-/ I've only Played Green and Dogy and lost when I was at my prime at minor tournies.

also if ivysaur came back that'd be more but i can't instantly summon him

we use everybody...anyway..my idea consisted of a melee south circuit....brawl doesn't need it there us a brawl tourny like every 5 secs..melee circuit would be great for us and it doesn't have to be ga..i want fl,ga,mid-south, and the carolina's to be down to. the melee circuit up here in the north is doing fine and still play majority brawl so thats no excuse.i say we do the first circuit around fev..since jan is to4 and impact clash,but we can figure it out..so brawl is no excuse most people play brawl up here and the melee circuit is a success..lets do it

most of us play at least a few other characters.
You should play Cornel or Dogy. They play a bunch of characters and like to repeatedly hit people with them.

really though, i don't know how you could get tired of playing a certain character unless you really dislike the matchup. people rarely play the same way.
