I just became a mod this week, and I've only banned duplicate accounts or people who have started empty threads.

Also, good cop comes from Forum Games.

I think you're doing a fine job Tom. I don't know what happened, but smashboards used to have decent, logical threads that provided great information about the game. Now, it seems like the first 5 pages are legitimate talk and then someone gets off topic with one post and everyone follows them down that moronic path. People, smashboards is not AIM or facebook or anything. No one gives a f*ck about your dumb *** life or your lame jokes. No one's laughing. Trust me. Let's try to keep the threads on topic please.

If I'm not mistaken, this thread was supposed to be about the Georgia Power rankings. If someone from another state wanted to know about the power rankings, they would have no idea what was going on. I think we stopped talking about what the thread was actually supposed to be about 20 pages back.

Well, was the panel ever decided? I doubt my opinion counts for very much around here but I don't think anyone could argue too much with a panel that consisted of Wes, Chad, Xif, Carter, Fullmetal, Mike G, SleepyK & Marty.

Basically people who win the most, are the most involved in the community, veterans of GA smash, and of course people who are fairly intelligent. That's just my 2 cents, though. Take what you want from it.

I can't really complain about anybody else letting a project slide. I am somewhat disappointed in the drowsy consonant.

Smashfest at 112's apartment this friday at 2. EVERYONE COME. No door fee and there might be a tournament if there are enough people (16+). Check the thread people.

Agreed, while smashboards is a community, and a lot of us hang out for more reasons than just smash, there is a point where the pointless social comments begin to outweigh the desire to have a helpful thread, and that point is crossed in about 80 percent of ATL south's threads lol.

I'm proud to announce that I'm now unbanned.

But I'm now afraid to post threads for fear that the "Smashboards Leaders" (as it states in the 3 point infraction Gimpyfish gave me) might not like my grammar and ban me for another week.

Since the internet started, message boards have been a place to post useless garbage, now these Nazi's have started the equivalent of a War on Drugs type situation. END THE SPAM. It's never going to end, because as long as there are people, there will be spam. You're all just a bunch of Nazi's. Especially Yang, who is most definitely NOT a good cop. In fact, I can't see why he's a mod in the first place. Oh well.

EDIT: Maybe it was his valiant performance in that 60 to 16 stock Ganon Ditto Money Match we did.

lol, while i see where you're coming from, and i do think its gay sometimes, still, smashers arent freedom fighters, and when i go to look at a tournament forum for my region, im not really down with seein ***gy anime pornesque drawings.
