All the ideas I'm seeing for Doom Marine is making me more and more excited with the idea of him making it. I mean, no skin off my bones if he doesn't, but he'd be immensely hype. I freaking love DOOM, at least the original stuff.

So seemingly the consensus is "Nobody knows". Everyone Sabi and others have asked said they don't know anything about Mii Costumes since it's not something that gets leaked really. It would make sense for the leakers to put in something obvious like a character or unreleased stage to make it clear it was real, but they didn't. So maybe that means it's fake, or maybe that means they didn't have access to those things. Or they DID have access but didn't use them just to mess with us.

It's possible that Geno could show up as a bonus fighter after Doom Guy since fans including myself still believe thats the most likely scenario for his case like piranha plant. That would also answer why the mallow costume is with the cacodemon costume.

Yeah, it's a total log jam right now. Now we're holding on to the possibility that VRplant will be willing to share what they know before the presentation but I don't think it's been decided if that will be made public if and when it happens. Based on people spitballing, people are predicting the "big news" for tomorrow could be one or more of the following:

-A major new mode like an expansion of WoL

-An announcement of a future presentation

-An explanation of how "Season 2" will work

-A Mii costume that hilariously steals the show from Terry a second time

Guess we'll wait and see.

Honestly, that might not be too much of a stretch. Mind you, I don't personally think that it's likely, but it's for sure a possibility. Although not the very next day, they wouldn't do that. There's still quite a bit of info to go over outside of new modes and Terry himself. If that Frogger leak is true, then they could potentially announce three new characters along with some Mii Costumes. Going over Fighter #5 could take some time as well.

In hindsight, maybe it does make sense that there will be no new fighters revealed tomorrow. It would kind of undermine Terry's hype and the appeal might be lost on those who aren't super interested in him right now. If Sakurai gives him a spotlight, maybe more people will take a liking to him. Then announcing a Smash direct for a few weeks down the line could work to give people time with Terry and the potential new mode and keep the hype going.
