You think we will get multiple Square characters?
We don't know yet, however the Smash bros ultimate site has "Organize by franchise" option so it's possible
Yes, I think we'll get Geno and at least one other SquareEnix character, whether that's DQ or another FF one like Terra. (or others, there's so many good games)
I would put Zack Fair as an Echo of Cloud, And for the music selection, I would put the "Battle song 2" in the game (representing Final Fantasy IV and the Culex battle for Mario RPG)
I don't know if that's serious, but there's nothing to worry about; I'm pretty sure Sakurai said he never wanted to include characters that didn't originate from games, and he said he wanted to include Geno... it's looking fine, and it's not like you can't have one and not the other. The thing I don't get is people shouldn't attack characters other people want; take your rage out on all the stupid **** they put in the game people never asked for.I keep seeing this image circle around and even if some people are saying it's a joke, the people in the comments sections don't appear to think so??
I'm not too sure at this point. I have such high hopes for Geno that every little thing I see keeps setting me back oops

above since it's been eating at me recently to finally come to this thread and I wanted to see that I wasn't the only one. Maybe this doesn't really count as support. I don't know, but I'm just speaking out about how I honestly feel. I myself have never played Super Mario RPG and can't really share the same personal love of Geno as you all do, but as a huge Isaac fan, I can absolutely sympathize with and respect how much passion you've had for your character all these years. I'm sure some on this thread have been supporting Geno since the Brawl days, and that speaks volumes to me. It really feels like it's the time of these requests that have been waiting in the wings for far too long, and I really want all of our fanbases to finally have the chance to celebrate and put all the heartbreak behind us.
A remix of Rose Town would be GODLY
It's nice knowing that she's already working on the game. Her name actually appears on the Smash website under the Street Fighter music. That gives me confidence that if Geno gets in, we should be able to get a decent amount of Mario RPG music. I'd be happy with five or six songs to be honest. I think 34 for Castlevania is a crazy amount, almost too much. If we got a couple of themes, maybe a remix or two, I'd be thrilled.
Thanks for the support! That's what this is all about. I see a lot of people hate on other characters, but in my opinion we all have the same goal. No need to belittle other people and their characters that they support. Characters like Geno and Issac ARE in similar situations, so we should root for each other as opposed to having the feeling it's one or the other. The Issac community is clearly thriving, and I've shown my support. I think both fan bases deserve it and hopefully we'll both be rewarded with a playable character.I have to offer similar words to

Rool/Ridley are a good start. At this point, if people want it, what else really matters? It deserves to finally happen. It'll help the roster take one step closer to feeling "Ultimate" and designed for the fans. Especially if there's a nice orchestrated remix of Beware the Forest Mushrooms. That'll hit the spot.

Very true! It could be hinting at the game doing the same. I am quite OCD with that sort of thing like I hated how the DLC fighters and clones in smash 4 were separated from their series. So order of appreance really isn't my thing but I can't still live without the option to change it. It's just i would prefer being able to choose. Echo stacking kind of confirms there is CSS customization for the first time which is a nice touch.
Yeah you could be right. Though I would much prefer a DQ character and think that is more likely. I have not played any DQ games myself but think they would rather widen the reperesnation of franchises. Cloud is a good representation of the FF series as a whole imo as he is definately the most reconignazble and a favourite of many.

Dragon Quest is my favorite franchise of all time. Considering you can get every entry on a Nintendo system and how they've crossed over with Mario many times. I think it get some representation.
I hope so. Square has tons of cool characters. Also note, that final fantasy has it's own music category (only 2 songs), which seems illogical from an organization standpoint, but may indicate that we will get more songs as a surprise. (Game and watch may also get new compositions revealed).
Ill be quite honest. Geno will be enough. Mallow is wishful thinking even in the future. Its just my thought on this. I would love Mallow to be a unique character but Geno first and i think that will be it.Would we all just switch to Mallow supporters at the point Geno gets in?
There are a handful of songs i love to have a remix or upgraded. many memorable music
Great video and I liked how you predominantly emphasized that SMRPG was pretty much the first game where the Mario franchise's world and main characters were really even given personalities and how huge of a deal that was at the time. I can't post it here because the video's language is super NSFW but Rageaholic's "the Majesty of Super Mario RPG" YouTube video goes into a lot of these same points and how you kind of had to be alive at the time to see how much of a literal game changer SMRPG was not only for Mario but Nintendo as a whole.
I....never actually completed that :| I always missed the 1 invisible treasure chest too. It wasn't until much later on I found out the one is missable very early in the game.
I used to use Mario, Geno and Peach, but once got to be too easy I went with an all power squad of Mario, Geno and Bowser. I actually like using Bowser, but he's very one dimensional because his magic is virtually useless.
Never did, I only used the meta team.
If you mean Lazy shell armor, then nothing compares to that. It basically makes the game impossible to lose if you put it on your healer.
I would agree with you, but there's just one problem. Unlike Smash 4 where they had the time(over a year's worth) to give the newcomers their own individual trailers, they have less than half that for time in regards to the announcement and release date for the game. I feel that there will be at least one case where two newcomers from seperate series will be mashed together.
My sentiments exactly. I don't hate Skull Kid or anything, but I don't think a multi-reveal trailer with him and Geno would be wise as it wouldn't be doing either character the justice they deserve. That's why I hope we don't see any multi-character reveals at all this time, unless it's like Simon + Richter's trailer where it's a regular character and an Echo or something.
I was a Mario/Peach/Geno kind of guy (I imagine it's the most popular team), but I tried to use Mallow and Bowser sometimes. I even tried once to beat the game only using Mallow and Bowser in my party! (it's not as easy as it sounds
