Okay then it would have to be kid Erdrick, so all the "Luminary/Anlucia costume" stuff is right out. Also there's no canon "kid girl Erdrick" afaik, altho they could obviously just invent one, but it casts doubt on Tansut. Did he specifically say it was adult Erdrick?

Yeah, in combination with Mother 3, Fire emblem 6 is my most wanted localization. Not only is it a fun game that deserves to be localized, but it might solidify Roy's position in Smash. I also think the switch is the perfect console to try and make Fire Emblem more mainstream.
He said that you can play as a female version of the character, so I think he was referring to adult Erdrick
Well, after Joker was revealed, it's pretty clear that no one knows the DLC. I'm not really taking insiders' words anymore, and I don't think this "brave" character is Eddy. So, I am actually feeling pretty good about Geno's chances

I expect it to be kid Eddy, who would be a very unique swordsman ... but I hope its Geno.
My stance on Geno is the same since Sakurai admitted to wanting Geno for the past 2 Smash games. Speculation about images, fan rules, he-said/she-said, and other theories doesn't really phase that.
Appearently the coding for the text is a pain in the ass to work with. Not to mention the abundance of copyrighted songs.
Bower's Keep with Exor in the background HAS to be the stage that Geno gets if the Nintendo Gods blesses us with him. :D

They need to go full hog, introduce a few new Kremling underlings and bring back old favorites, like Klump, Krusha and Kopter. I don't even need to tell you which one I want to see brought back the most.

-This is probably going to never happen, but Delfino Kingdom DLC for Odyssey. It baffles me that Nintendo keeps making DLC costumes for the game, but no DLC kingdoms? I beat the game back in November 2017, it's over, I beat it 100%, I have no interest in the game anymore unless it's related to Isle Delfino. They removed it from the game and false advertised it, remember when it showed up on that globe in one of the official posters? Here it is:
-Pikmin 4 teaser.
-Luigi's Mansion 3 footage.
-Metroid Prime 4 trailer and some footage.
-Piranha Plant release date (I think it's the 14th of February).
-Joker gameplay and release date, my guess is sometime in April or May.
-Direct speaker says "Thank you for watching, but we got one last thing to show. At the end of the direct, the 2nd DLC character announced.

At first I was sad about it, but then I realized that it might bode well for a remake/sequel of SMRPG
Pretty much my thoughts. I was iffy on it, at first, but then I realized the positive side to it. That being said, it also wouldn't surprise me if Square didn't like their game being played 'for free' with NSO without them getting a dime.

I honestly hope K. Rool returns as a villain in the DKC series, game would be a day one buy for me.

Yes, I will definitely take my Krocodile King over those new bootleg villains. Smash Brothers has a quirk for giving characters relevancy again, and now that K. Rool is in Smash, Retro Studios could finally put him and the Kremlings back in the DK Country series.
It looks like Nintendo forgot to give Square their sandwich. Yeah, I doubt we'll be seeing it now; I completely forgot that the SNES Online is free if you purchase online, and we all know Square's least favorite word is "free". I just wonder how Nintendo was able to get SMRPG on the SNES Classic... my guess is Square probably got some profit out of the SNES Classic too. Don't forget that Square wants to bring their classic games on to the Switch, so we may expect to see a Chrono Trigger or SMRPG port/remake coming. I wouldn't mind buying SMRPG, but we all know Virtual Console is 100 times better than the online system. We'll probably see Super Mario RPG in the e-shop, which means Geno can be used for fan service and promotion for playing SMRPG.
You know what the strangest thing I find about the initial line-up is? There's a bunch of Konami games, but none of them are SCV4. Yet again,
is being left out of convenient promotions.
I mean, this does not mean SMRPG is never coming to the service, its just not apart of this early batch.
Castlevania 1, 2, and 3 isn't even on NES Online, so I was expecting Castlevania to not appear. It's weird how Nintendo and Sakurai treats Castlevania with more respect compared to Konami. Konami's biggest mistake was going to mobile gaming, and our ridiculous Nintendo president might make Nintendo go to mobile games if the next Nintendo console fails. Movement in the first game is a tad slippery due to the grid-like Nature of the game mechanics. (Character won't stop on release until he reaches the next tile).

I know, but you know how Square is. Hopefully they hand it over and let Nintendo put it on SNES Online. In my opinion, I think SMRPG to be the best SNES game, so not having it on the SNES Online is a huge opportunity that will be missed.
On the plus side, they're giving Twinbee some love for once for English-speakers. Even Pop'n is coming for the first time on US shores!
), since mobile is fleeting. I hardly see how Nintendo will have any presence if they remain on mobile when/if Sony and Microsoft are the only two console giants left. Maybe the goofball president can retire at some point before that happens, with any luck...
