Dude, for your own sake please stop going to the square thread. It seems like you are trying to incite a fight. I am not high on the square thread myself especially how they treated Fatmanonice earlier, but I just avoid the thread instead of attacking DQ. If you want to rant about Geno while still being respectful to other people and their characters you can do that here and you will be fine. I perfectly understand how upset you are, just don't try to instigate anything.

Well, I feel like the argument about the stats is hard to put a lot in it, and it's a lot of guessing. But I will say that as far as weight goes, I could totally see wood being heavy enough to justify it. That and that mii gunner is a heavy character too. Other than that though, I find it hard to see the case for being a zoner or whatever. But who knows,

I just wonder how long it'll take to get some news about the second dlc character. that it's already in the game might mean it wont be too too long.

Honestly, more codenames would be fun. And yeah, the stats, which also could be changed later on, don't help much without a coherent model to attack it too. It also will make a lot more sense due to the moveset itself.

It's still vague enough that we can get totally surprised, not really knowing what's gonna come up.

I'm actually almost looking forward to the brave reveal more than any of the other reveals so far, aside from the November Direct because Grinch leak and it was a huge letdown

Yeah. I kinda would like it to be in a nintendo direct because the surprise joker reveal was cool but I'd also like to see it live, with the bit of anticipation.

I think he has a pretty good shot. The talk of Erdrick is coming from insiders saying that it is him, and after no one knew about Joker, I'm not really taking the words of insiders. Also, PolarPanda said that no one knows the DLC, another reason I don't believe any leak claiming to know the DLC

Same here. I, too, would love to see it live. You saw how hyped people were when Joker flipped that envelope towards the audience, which ended up being a Smash invitation and people lost their minds. A live Direct at night would be nice.

With the Square Enix thread situation, all I have to say is this:

Yes, I'm mad, but that's because I am sick and tired of the amount of immaturity that goes on, and it's always from one person.

I'm embarrassed to be a Geno fan when I see the way those bad apples behave. "B- But my LGBTs!!!1" I'm the most lesbian person I know and I want to be able to marry a wonderful woman someday. I've been torn apart for my orientation and I've seen the absolute worst of it. Iffy remarks from a composer is nothing to get so uppity about. Pick your battles. Pick them wisely. There is much better to do for the cause than doing this, throwing a tantrum about someone's personal favorite picks for a freaking video game.

If you're turning people away from supporting Geno when they used to, there is a problem. There is a goddamn problem.

Well said, Ovaltine. I'm proud to be a Geno supporter but embarrassed to be one sometimes. I can relate to this because some people have tried to turn me away from supporting Geno. Luckily I didn't get turned away, but guess what? I still support Geno after almost 11 years and love it here.

Smash tends to breath new life into a lot of characters. Luigi is... weird, for some reason, Bowser is a hulking monster, and Ness (basically just a silent JRPG protagonist) appears almost as a sassy trickster. If Geno makes it in, I hope they give him some kind of Smash Bros. charm, and I also hope they take full advantage of the fact that he's a doll (which I feel like could make for some clever moves).

I definitely could see both being utilized. One of them could easily even stand in as Geno's "voice". I feel that both of them used in conjunction is ideal.

Something like this is super serviceable for him. What better voice is there for a wooden doll than yet another wooden toy?

The way I like to see it is this: when the DLC roster was set in stone, Geno was widely regarded as one of the most likely DLC characters.

Everything else afterwards is probably just the Grinch believers looking for more insider info. Doesn't really change anything.

I know Sakurai wants to reveal the characters as soon as possible as he stated that ideally a fighter pass should have all its characters revealed on its announcement, but it is hard to see them announcing Brave before Piranha Plant is even out.
