It's hard to imagine Sakurai snapping, but I could see him making Geno #77 and he could have had him since Brawl (maybe even Melee?), but he saw how well Smash was doing, foresaw the future, and realized he'd get a lot more fighters in, so he wanted Geno specifically to be #77 this whole time. Because Seven Stars.

I assume it is, but it is a previously-announced title. Gonna laugh if BD2 is the second one. That said though, if we don't see FF7R or KH3, Geno's looking pretty dang good.

Crystal Chronicles likely isn't the unnamed game because, as several people have already mentioned, this was announced awhile back in 2018 and Square confirmed it would be delayed to the summer of 2020 in December 2019. There was a leak back February that suggests one of the two games is Dragon Quest Heroes 1 & 2 getting an international release but that's the only thing I can think of that hasn't been brought up already.

Is Square really supporting Nintendo more so than they’ve done in the past?
I mean I get what you’re saying when you compare it to N64, GameCube, and the Wii.
But overall though it looks like they continued to support Nintendo through their handhelds. I could have swore there were quite a few Dragon Quests, Final Fantasy, And Kh titles on those devices.

In the end, their “support” for the Nintendo switch just seems like more since it’s essentially both Nintendo’s handheld and home console platform.

Ummmm... Idk why I was quoted here but I'd like to point out as a future reference that Sora is legally a Disney character so... Um... Yeah... On top of that, I'm not too sure how my statement fits within the context of this conversation...

As yet another extension of Slender's post and analysis of Sakurai working on three characters at time yesterday, there's yet another thing that supports this. Joker, Hero, and Banjo all had one thing in common aside from being third party... They all came with modes. Sakurai said there wouldn't be any more modes but I do wonder if some of the packs will potentially have additional content that the Fighter's Pass didn't. Obviously, we've talked a lot about bonus characters but, on the more digestible side, I think more premium Mii costumes per pack are possible too. Of the Mii costumes rumors I've shared (and the few I've kept secret), most would actually be really good premium candidates and I wonder if they're going to stick with one per pack or open that pit up.

I have mixed feelings. Boss rushes are practically my cocaine but I don't think Ultimate has enough bosses right now for a satisfying boss rush. It has the same number as Brawl with two of them being Master Hand and Crazy Hand. Honestly, I'd be okay with them plugging in all the old bosses from Brawl and Smash 4 (except Ridley for obvious reasons) and throwing in like 2 or 3 new ones to round it out.

Weird, no idea. Probably just an accident on my part. When I saw it post I just assumed it was part of a string of responses, my bad.

Square Enix both publishes and develops the KH series. Despite Disney owning the characters and series, it doesn't necessarily determine what platforms each game will support.

It really boils down to the details of the contract, but its common for publishers to determine that fate.
For example SMRPG, developed by Square, published by Nintendo.
Bayonetta was multiplatform until publishing rights switched from Sega to Nintendo.

You do have your exceptions like Mario and Sonic at the Olympics so its uncertain who would control the KH series in those terms. Basically just because you own a character doesn't give you full control over it underneath a contract.

As far as unannounced Square games go, I wouldnt be surprised if its KH and some other 2D IP. Although if Square is actually involved in development I would personally rather see SMRPG over anything.

remember how Hero's trailer had the Dark Realm effect on various characters outside of WoL (i.e. characters normally found in the light realm and/or on different stages than their awakening battles)? Dude I would KILL to use that, the Light Realm effect, and the final battle phantom/fake fighters effect outside of WoL. It's silly but it's the little details i really like ok

I hope so. I just found it interesting he wrote that on the Smash board, so that is why I posted it here and thought it could be a hint for Neku in Smash. But yeah, I think he is moreso hinting at a sequel of TWEWY

No, he didn't. He just hinted that the World Ends With You will be getting something new eventually. That could be a sequel, for all we know - not everything relates to Smash Bros.

It's all the coincidences/potentially credible leaks/patterns and things that have lined up. As far as "proof" or "factual evidence", there's nothing but our assumptions based on what's been compiled.

dragon quest builders 3 is a possibility, 1 came out in jan 2016, 2 came out in dec 2018

By the way, if SMRPG comes to Switch, does it necessarily will como to the Library or it may come in a physical format and you have to pay for that?
