Weren’t you pushing the idea of a triple reveal in January just a few weeks ago?
I didn't mention fanrules or mention Fatman, why the hell are you bringing him up? I don't argee with his argument either and it has nothing to do with this.
If you read his posts you'd know that he treated a triple reveal as a pipe dream and nothing more
First of all, I highly disagree with Byleth not being unique
You know, that's the funny thing about speculation, it does this spectacular thing where it evolves and changes over time based on new information.

To be fair, a lot of things can change in three weeks. I am sure three weeks before Byleth was revealed, many would have said that FP5 is "guaranteed to be a third party character." Things change. Also, "pushing the idea" is probably better phrased as "speculating." I don't believe everything

DMC said there’d be DMC 3 on Switch news the day of the Smash presentation, nothing more. The internet, being itself, twisted that into being Smash related but I think it’s unfair to say they did anything wrong.

Ah damn you're right on that one, I gave into the hype and just saw the posts on Twitter about it happening the days before it. I didn't see any mention of it being specifically on DMC 3 but I should of looked into it more

Doesn't even mention the triple reveal there. I also distinctly remember him stating that the idea was farfetched and none of the people he talks to believe it will happen, but to quote you "go off, I guess"
People that have a hard time accepting that Byleth is what they were supposed to end on before they chose to make more DLC

He never said in this post we were definitely getting a triple reveal, and most of this was regarding how optimistic the Geno fanbase was at this time, not the possibility of a triple reveal.
I was avoiding the internet around this time, so I didn’t see this post.

That was my point as well. I get some things are subjective, but I am not sure how you see this as an "absolute" either. Definitely a speculation. A hopefulness sort of post. Not sure how a person cannot see this a speculation.
