Oh nah, I was joking around rofl. I just think that the dates align because Nintendo wants to bring in more hype stuff on that day, nothing to do with Smash. KSS and Star Fox 2 are pretty dang hype additions, after all. Now, the SNES Classic is almost, in terms of game content that's tougher to get elsewhere itself, useless... and will be once SMRPG is on NSO.

I’m sorry for asking but at this point in the game I need to know, is a Sony character deconfirmed yet? Sackboys my most wanted and he’s the last one out of my top 30 that hasn’t been deconfirmed or deemed very unlikely based on evidence, and I just need to know if he’s out the game too.

If sony isnt in the deconfirmations recap list, then sony hasnt been deconfirmed yeah. At least vergeben hasnt said anything about sony, nor sabi has given any new deconfirmation from his other source. NoA guy hasnt mentioned sony either so far.

On a more serious note I noticed that every new sneso game is one from the list that leaked/datamined back in January that was surprisingly absent at launch, even somthing more out there like breath of fire 2 and star fox 2. If this was intentional it means our next batch could look something like this.

Fighter 5 is actually just an assist trophy. All of its smashes and specials are a different assist trophy character popping out of it and doing their signature move. All jabs and tilts are a pokeball. Not the pokemon in it, just a pokeball.

Hey, I'm back. Which means Geno is already in. In all seriousness.. the longer it's absent, the more I feel like SMRPG coming along with Geno is beginning to make sense. While I'm a little hesitant to actually get behind ideas even when the details seem to be lining up, the idea does seem to make sense, at least on some level. SMRPG has been a pretty consistent big-seller - not nearly as niche as some people seem to treat it. Case in point - it was included with the SNES classic, which means it was considered a big enough deal to make the conscious decision to have it built into every unit produced, which I feel is a step up in honor from being a virtual console game that people might download. Which makes it seem a little odd that we haven't seen it yet. Either something's planned for it in particular, or Nintendo is Nintendoing again, which they've been doing a little less in recent years, if I'm not mistaken.

I haven't had a high opinion of Kingdom Hearts since the second one, but ultimately I can't say I would mind much if he gets in, and I unfortunately can't argue that he doesn't stand a chance. It's literally a matter of when he gets in or what costumes he comes with. If Sora gets announced at the VGAs, it's going to be a rough ride until January when we see what mii costumes he comes with. If he doesn't come with a Geno costume that's the ball game, the haters will have to shut their mouths. If he does, that's also the ball game, and we'll have to shut ours. This is the true reason I ****ing hate Sora.

SMRPG is not really that big, adding a character just for promote the rerelease of a 23 years old game in NSO is a horrible idea for a promo pick, as Nintendo wouldn't get much profit, and Geno is a literal who for anyone outside the Smash and Mario RPG fandoms, so he wouldn't fare well for casuals and mostly of fandoms, if anything Geno would fit more as base game character.

I'm honestly split on that drama that happened last night and I don't know whom to believe but whatever until otherwise my stance is that everyone makes mistakes and we're all human. If Fatman did lie multiple times I hope he stops to realize that only hurts us more than helps us but that's only if he lied and I don't know if he did or not. Last time I said he did it turns out he didn't so this may just be another case of that.
