I was searching for a video for a very long time ago and I finally found it! I had to talk to a Japanese person to find it! @Slender you might find this video useful
So here it is the original arrangements of many SMRPG songs before they were converted to the SNES soundfont it even has the forest maze!!!

The SMRPG hunt is not over yet still i hope we get a clear version of Culex official artwork soon because it does exsist but blurry image and the other SMRPG early characters concept art that we have never seen before.

I actually uploaded a version of the boss theme from the promotional video without sound.... (Maybe, Kinda, to clear up confusion I just renamed the video to remix.)

Idk why but i get this feeling those aren’t the actual versions of the soundtrack.

Reason being is some definitely sound a little too different.

I’ve heard the dkc tracks that someone painstakingly recreated by using the original synths and in game data to flawlessly recreate dkc’s soundtracks before they were heavily compressed to fit the snes hardware. They all still sound nearly the same as the original, just more...rich/fuller I guess you could say?

But something about that video seemed off, like parts were out of key. Idk....maybe I just need to hear it on something other than my phone speaker...

The way it worked for Banjo, it was moved to the character’s dedicated subforum to act as more of a general discussion thread.

The fact that Nintendo hasn’t gone after other versions of these same songs though kind of invalidates this sort of thing even if it does happen though. With how finicky YouTube copyright claims can be, they’re just never going to be evidence towards much of anything other than YouTube being a kind of ****ty service. Even those two specifically and not others doesn’t tell us anything unless they start going after those two in a broad capacity across YouTube.

And even then, I really doubt that Square Enix game’s get two songs. It’s just way more likely that Final Fantasy is a mess music wise and that Sakurai wanted to equally represent each DQ game music wise. 4 is probably too few while 12 was probably pushing it seeing as Persona only even got 11 and Sakurai specifically mentioned wanting at least a battle theme and an overworld theme for each.

Yeah, the rest of the Grinch characters is where I'm heading after. That "leak" pissed me off so much that I'm supporting these characters until they get in lol, even if some never.
